I'm with Black Moon - I kept hearing the rattle over rough pavement. I have spent the last two months trying to figure out where that rattle was coming from. It was after a search on Google and UA-cam that I ran across your video. I said to myself, surely it can't be up there near the windshield? But tonight as I was driving home from work, I heard the rattle, pressed on the centerpiece, and away and silent the rattle went. Thank you very much for this video.
This annoyed me SOOOO much, I tore a piece of McDonalds burger wrapper and folded it up and forced it into the slot between the soft and hard plastic parts to mitigate. I also have a vibration from the plastic part above where the phone charger pad is, the plastic piece with the little LED. On top of that, there is a ringing spring sound coming from the B pillar right next to my left ear. Car is driving me nuts, and I haven't even started on the left mirror wind noise since day one!
I’m still trying to figure that out….that dash just seems to swallow anything you apply on it and stays looking like a matte finish. My last attempt will be tire shine! Lol
TheEseJandro sorry for the late reply ....I actually chickened out and had my local audio shop do it since I also wanted to remove and replace Toyota auxiliary n usb jack to two usb 3.0 ports for the Apple and android phones. It all ended up well but I realized I hardly used the ports since it has wireless Apple CarPlay and android auto
Shahzaib Merchant first they’ll sit in the car with you and drive it around to see if they can hear it and even then I wouldn’t know if the technician is a newbie or not who might break other plastic tabs or clips and worsen it. Shouldn’t waste your time for these minor annoyances.
I have a rattle or buzzing sound coming from the glove box / dashboard area too on my 2019 Camry. Took it to the dealer, they said they drove it and couldn’t duplicate the noise. I am not sure if they actually test drove it, not happy with them.

I have this same issue on brand new 2022 Avalon. Noticed it at around 4000 miles. It’s been driving me crazy. I will try this! Thanks

Exactly,! me too my 2019 Toyota Camry on the left side of the dashboard start the noise in cold weather!
An you tell me if it solves the problem? Also after prying it up are there tabs in place after to keep it flush?
