Love to see the process on some of these builds. Sure, wish you guys would do a short run of Whammo frames! Trans red for the win! Whammo! Whammo! Whammo!
I’ve been saving up for a new challenger frames but EVERYTIME I got to check out they have raised the price $20-40 Im a disabled combat vet trying to get my riding legs back and I feel like it won’t happen.
Not that I want any new standards, but I always worry about an 110mm OLD hub with a disc mount on one side and a driver on the other. It seems too narrow! I'm no engineer, though.
Not an issue. Most hubs are not taking full advantage of the non drive side in order to keep it centred. MTB sports usually 135mm but they have the cassete with about 11 speeds that takes up about 35mm - 40mm on the drive side and wheels are way bigger.
@jcwebtech This is excellent to know. Thank you for the reply. I figured it would likely be fine because it would've already been tested to death by a few companies. There was just something about it that seemed a bit narrow, but when you explained the additional cassette width on an mtb, it made more sense.
@@iandunn3479 Went bit more down the rabbit hole and actually yes the BMX hubs with a disk mount are bit more narrow. There seems to be place for it on normal hub but apparently it needs to be offset more inside the hub to align with the callipers. There is plenty for BMX race, just with a bigger freewheel. So technically it is less stiff but for 20" wheel should be still plenty stiff especially for this trail/flow oriented style of riding.
How about a round of applause for those hard-working welders right there! 👊🏻⚡️🇺🇸
Yes sir absolutely. God bless the working man!!🎉❤

Is there ever going to be a chance for a Neil Woods frame re-release?
eh.... prolly not.
@@sandmbikes how about sticker set possibly?
Madd dog frame, sign me up sick geometry and disc mounts! Why 10mm dropouts tho? Don’t wanna buy a new hub
Of course I need a new hub anyway for the disc mounts. Facepalm
How are you going to grind with disc brakes or are you going to use a huge hub guard
What's next taper ht double facepalm
@@juanfo7307pegless for life, and from the geometry this is quite clearly a trail frame
