- We know, we know, we've been howling 'bout this bike for a minute now, but the Mad Dog breeding project has produced a bonafied, pure-bred track/trail Alpha that the bossman is proud to put his name on!
Run around town with Moeller as gets the Mad Dog stickers are screenprinted, the 87 gets engraved into the bottom brackets and the final prototype gets painted OG green. From there, Balls builds it up and Moeller takes it for a run in the wild.
The Mad Dog frame is available for per-order through Sunday. So if you are after a specific TT size/color place a pre-order this weekend. Not all sizes/colors will be put into production for stock.

I love hearing Moeller talk shop and products. He is truly a master of his craft. Shield for life!
If your gonna spend big money on a BMX bike by an American hand made S&M. You won't be disappointed.
And they stand behind their products🤙🏽
S&M are probably the only people making USA made bike stuff these days. Plenty of street riding and skateparks here in my city, even some dirt jumps in the suburbs, so of course I'm looking at S&M for a future setup.
@@ArrKoKo Their not the only one but probably the biggest producer of American made bikes. Most of the other American made stuff are big bikes and also make very good stuff. ELF,Gary and Craig Turner just to name a couple but their are many more.
I remember years (decades now) when this man handed me my dirtbike frame as a newly minted factory rider. My God Chris you got old. But then I took a look in the mirror and realized that I did as well.
There is a bike builder named "Chapman" who still silver brazes bikes together by hand..
He has a little shop where he does everything, by himself..
On his locker in the back ground, there are many stickers...
But I noticed one sticker immediately!!!
It was a huge shield..
And it said
"S&M"
S&M for life
S&M everywhere!
I live my life by the chrome...
"A "4130" Chrome Molly at a time"
Chris moler .....! You are the man....! Thank you for doing what you do cuz you do it like no one else in the industry!
Damnit I’m always a sucker for a Factory Friday video 😂
💪🏼S&M bikes 🇺🇲💯
New bike looks sick!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
The Mad Dog frame looks great!
I didn't know you guys made the stickers too, badass
That new Mad Dog look$ amazing!
So sick!! The green and black for sure
Old school MD green is great. Love all the details put into this new frame. Thanks for showing us some of the process!
Even the stickers are US made, never knew this. S&M doing excellent work and supporting US jobs, events, groups, and legendary guys like Doyle. Also building unique frames rather than just catalogue parts like every other brand. We also get a viewing into the workshop too! I wish the UK could stick something out like in bmx, we have Hope Tech here, but it's not on the level of awesome S&M is.
You should check out Mike Hill - Death pack bmx. Making some quality frames out of the UK.
@@substrata3642 Nice one, and great to see. Though i guess his jig is fairly fixed as little customisation available, but the price is impressively low, so i guess that's why.
I would gladly have both.
the real deal
Mean as hell looking new rig Chris! Stoked for ya
That's a nice looking bike! Not a fan of disc brakes but those seem much better because of the smaller disc.
Balls with the build mean as !!!
Those stickers look Mad, Dog!
Those look amazing a work of art 🤘🏻🔥
The Messiah has returned!
That Mad Dog is sick! Reminds me of the 1996 Challenger that I had :) .
Steve seems like a cool boss. Really hands on with his employees making sure everything is running smooth without being a dick about it.
Who's Steve?
Hell, yea! I just got a fresh Hucker build but I'm still tempted to get a new Mad Dog for the disc brake.
I need another S&M PBR 20TT😢 that frame was PERFECT
New Boiiiii!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Challenger flashback here to, love it!
This channel rocks!
Frame turned out great! MD 30!!
Bad ass frame... i need
S&M Bikes 💯💯
Dammit another frame i need!
Nice !!! I would trade up my sabbath and Bennett for that set up
Fuck I wish I could work for you guys man.
sick
Man I need one of those frames
S&M rules standard rules profile rules God bless the USA.
you know it bother
Started from the bottom now there here..
There is a fine line behind genius and insanity...
And I guess,
Chris "Mad Dog" M..
Was a genius, and not insane,
When he started this gangster Shit!
Back in..
"God...!!"
Well I started riding in 1994..
And S&M already was
44 something...
So..
.
.
S&M for life!
Awesome..
I only seen one of those in my life
And it was yellow with red Mad Dog stickers!
Till the head tube came off..
And the Dirt bike frame came out..
Then
It was all history after that..
.
.
There was a time we used to send out bike frames back to S&M when they cracked..
Because S&M offered a lifetime warranty..
So I got a new dirt bike..
For a $100 back in 96..
.
Might mean nothing to this new generation..
But back then..
It was a big deal..
Like John Holmes was a big deal..
When things were heavy ...
As Fuck...
Love it!
Not one person mentions the cable guide clips? I've never seen those before! 😍
standard mtb stuff
Here in Indiana would get a lot more money for that scrap metal than 10 bucks
😂just saw the dirt skirt.
The best BMX bike company in the business!!!
Does S&M own the CNC machines and the work is just done at a different shop?
I want to have a custom frame made anyone know the starting price?
rad tour. Massive shout-out to Tyson Jones-Peni for helping propel freestyle bmx into the void of evolution.
I'm diggin the disk brakes..
they are great until they are not. Misalignment, twisted rotors. brake rub. bleeding the hydro brakes. such a mission
@@byc1013
Damn bro, sounds like you need to learn how to work on your bike.
@@lostridinfast7734 I do man but disc brakes are tough man
@@byc1013
I get it, I've had them on the DJ and MTB for years now, but I'm also not a pro rider.
Once setup right the first time, unless you crash and bend a rotor, the only time you should have to fuck with it again is when you're changing those paper thin pads.
Other than that, they're awesome, work better than any rim brake I've ever owned and until the pad gets shit embedded in them, don't sound like you stepped on a cat every time you use them.
For race bikes and trails, they should be standard equipment, in my opinion. Hell, even the mechanical disk brakes work well, and no hydro to deal with.
Oh, and you can fit the wider tyres easier with disk.
@@lostridinfast7734 I have mechanical disc brakes on my CX bike. they do work well
Love watching how everything is made!! Idk I’m just not a fan of disc brakes on BMX 🤔. Maybe I need to get the MADDOG & check it out lol.
i dont like paying 4 or 5 hundred on a frame or 200 on forks but at the same time they aint charging enough LOL
Your company probably thinks you're overpaid too and would like to outsource your labour to migrants to work for less. Nobody wants to pay more, but with S&M you're paying to provide jobs to US citizens, ones that also support other local jobs like the fabricators, and then other local business for lunch etc. You'd also be giving money to support events and groups, and allowing unique frames to be made instead of catalogue flavour of the month.
sunday charges the same from taiwan
I still have my 87 FREE AGENT bmx bike limo were Made In USA kids get made in China big drope in quality 😢
Why are 95 percent of S&M frames 11.7 bb height or higher and 95 percent of rear end length being no shorter then 13.4. It’s annoying, the only frame they got with smaller dimensions is the BTM. holy diver is a great frame along with the BTM but neither of them come in raw or decent paint job. Holy dive sparkle blue was cool but the goblin green was way better. God forbid yall do goblin green again or the raw. Besides that, what’s with the longer rear ends and high bb. Would love to buy a S&M frame but they don’t do much for the street community when it comes to frames. Mainly just unlimited options if your a dirt rider. Nothing wrong with that, but come on. Bought a BSD freedom instead and I absolutely love the 21.1 frame size and dimensions. S&M needs to step it up.
