    This video just made me well up with tears. I remember when I was 13 Yr old and my Dad's Mk2 Escort van wouldn't start. He was unemployed and couldn't afford a mechanic so I was only too willing as an enthusiastic kid to dive in and have a go,he was terrified I'd do more damage but nervously let me try under his watchful eye.
    Together we did what you and Chris did here ( he was just as enthusiastic as Rob was when I got her running) and from then on we always did maintenance to avoid labour costs and my skills developed. It brought back a lot of memories as today would have been his birthday but he's been gone 22 yrs now. Thanks for the memories. 👍

    Don't forget that car will need premium unleaded because of the new E10 stuff. It looked like you filled the can with E10 rather than super/premium.

    I'm sure there is a conversion joint to go from round posts to flat cables...they just bolt in...this will keep the original car cables.

    You can buy adapters to take square post terminals to round, they don’t look too bad and the purist could always convert back to square later if they wish.

    Please read this comment ,I love your channel,you guys are brilliant,I can watch your stuff all night ,it's brilliant.But I get confused on updates ,I wonder if I've missed a few episodes .the RS2000 is a bit back to front ,please label each video as 1,2 or 3 .or 2 of 4 for example.cant count the times I've watch a recent video and it's been ahead because it's not been labelled properly . As I say your channel is ace ,you guys are ace ,but needs catigoring better ,with better titles .,,all the best for new year

    You can buy an adapter for the battery terminal so you will end up with the best of both. Keeping it original whilst solving the problem. Ford Battery Terminal Post Adapters .Converts Square to Round. EBay.

    The Key in the Petrol cap just bought back a memory from 1988'ish , My Dad took his 'C' Reg Orion 1.6 GL get get fuel a mile away , Came walking home with key stuck in filler cap in hand to grab the WD 40 .. common fault so say .
