I used javascript so that whenever I type two consecutive spaces they get erased and replaced by "" (break line). The advantage of using javascript instead of addon is that addons don't work in AnkiDroid.
When the answer is a simple word like your example in the video it works fine and shows the right answer in green, but if the answer is in brackets like for example then even the correct answer will show in red as incorrect. Why is that?

Hi Liam, I would like is a typed answer card for key-bindings/short-cuts with modifier keys as input. At the moment you can do this using Javascript but regular key-binding/short-cut use is not deactivated, so 'Ctrl + Shift + a' will still open the Add-Ons window when you are in review mode. I would like to have all key-bindings disabled in the front card of the review window except for something like pressing 'Enter' to go to the back of card, but then have key-bindings re-enabled on the back of the card. I am not sure how to do this using Javascript. One thing I do note is that the key-binding 'E' for the 'Edit Current' window is disabled in the default type answer note when the type answer box has focus on the front card. I want to do this with key-bindings involving the modifier keys (Alt, Shift, Control, etc).
Hi Kim, you can get this to work with pre-made decks. First download the add-on as described in the video. Next go to the card types editor for the 'note-type' of the pre-made deck and edit the notes to include the [[typebox:Back]] (exactly the same as in the video starting from 4:27). Give it a go and let me know if you get stuck, I can always share more detailed help over Twitter where I can share images of what I mean. Cheers

Is there a way to convert current decks front/back decks into multi-line ones?

When I did this, I'd found that '[[typebox:Back]]' would always be displayed after the question. Any ideas on why this is?
