Thank you, man. Great video! Would you be able to elaborate a bit on these topics or make a follow up video covering how to play with the more complicated settings?
      1. How to adjust the settings under "options" which controls the steps in minutes, maximum reviews, what the easy bonus/modifiers do, as well as the lapses, etc.
      2. How to sync your cards to your other devices like phone/iPad and how to reverse sync them without messing it up (download vs upload)
      3. How to use the burying/suspending features
      4. How to use a controller like a PS4 controller or something along those lines to make it easy/quick/fun to go through cards. I had to get a friend to help me with it but that was a while ago and forgot how to do it myself now.
Thanks man, I appreciate your help!

I am a premed student and to be honest after one year at college i learned the hardway that making notes is a waste of time. first of all i would never go back to look at the notes i made. and if i did go back to look at i wouldn't even be able to understand. secondly i would end up rewriting what was on the lecture slide onto my notes. And i found that i would always end up going to the lecture slides to actually learn the content. lastly i would never assign equal prioty to all the different topics i would learn. instead i would find myself going back and forth between the same topics. to conclude i want to say that you are a LEGEND for showing us these techniques. especially the screenshot Lecture slide style anki notes. i feel like this particular anki technique was what i have been waiting for my whole life. it so unbelievably easy to do. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I HAVE SUBSCRIBED BTW. 😉

Quick note at 14:20: You can actually export all the slides to image files to save you the time of screenshotting every slide:
    * Go to 'File' > 'Save As' or 'Export.'
    * Choose the image format (e.g., JPEG).
    * Select the location and click 'Save' or 'Export.'"

I gave up on using it but now I really need to figure it out. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! This was seriously so helpful. God bless you, brother.
A couple things that I wish were also included in this that I think would be really helpful:
    1. How to adjust the settings under "options" which controls the steps in minutes, maximum reviews, what the easy bonus/modifiers do, as well as the lapses, etc.

Thank you so much for sharing your method to use Anki. I have someone saved his Anki deck and carried me thru the semester but now it’s time to do it myself although not really motivated. But your video encourages me to try it out using my own notes with the screenshot feature. Let’s go!!

Thanks for the awesome video, I’m a snip and sketch guy myself. Just switched yesterday to Anki. I’ve been using flashquiz for years, but the picture quality is a little tricky on there for high res photos. And I use the snips-screenshots a lot, even kind of make them interactive for learning computer software. I like the tag part, and want to finish off by saying, this is my favorite video on Anki, out of all the ones I’ve seen.

Win+shift+S - is a shortcut on windows that creates very quick screenshot, with the ability to screenshot just a portion of the screen as well, so you can stop bothering with snap tool and other tools as well.

This is incredibly helpful, thank you so much! I looked for this video just to figure out how to use the cloze function, but I need to memorise a ton of anatomy and physiology for my final and the image occlusion is going to be so useful!!

BTW---You can do all this with a pencil and a yellow legal pad as I did in med school back in '79. Not as 'cool' or modern, but much simpler which equals more time to learn the subject as opposed to Anki. All considered: this IS a wonderful tool! (and this guy is an exceptional teacher)

For ppts you can just copy the slide cntrl+C (or right click on slide and click copy) and then just paste it onto the anki with cntrl+v without screen snipping, also there is shortcut for windows screen snipping, which is: windows_key + shift + s.
