- That’s right, look who came back for revenge - after our epic crane game battle last year Ryotaro decided he wanted to challenge me to an epic Wanko soba battle.
You may have seen this challenge on UA-cam before - but this time we’re trying a slightly different version in Tokyo! Who is going to be the wanko winner? Only one way to find out

The fact that he spent a lot of time overseas when he was younger probably helped in him being so open and friendly to foreigners.

Ryotaro was putting noodles into his bowl much quicker than Nick so he was able to eat more. He had less wasted energy. I also think that compare to previous videos of wanko soba where the count did to be less, this was much higher was because you guys were standing which helped digestion and not hit a wall. I really enjoyed watching this challenge.

It's interesting that Japan has so many different eating challenges. In NA, I've only ever seen a steak challenge at some Texas themed restaurants.
In Canada there's a burger challenge, I forget how heavy it was but it was like the size of a dinner plate. Not very thick but still pretty big. My dad tried and didn't finish it.
Most American meals are a food challenge for non-Americans 😜
We have not even begun on all the food challenges there are out there… I wish @beardmeetsfood comes to Japan so I can collab with him

Five minutes in... An observation. You're training boxing, spinning bird kick. This is good for achieving hunger and speeding up your metabolism. The Japanese guy is training slurping technique along with his martial arts. This could help him with the task at hand. Try to keep specificity of training.

Lol, skinny people seem to be really good at this sort of thing. Pizza Hut used to have an all you could eat slice night and i watched a friend effortlessly eat three+ medium pizzas in less than 30 minutes. She weighed *maybe* 100 pounds.
