Well this World Series may be one-sided, we seemingly thought so as well in 2016 when the Indians were up on the Cubs with a 3 - 1 lead. We all know what happens next. This was destiny for me to upload this video with such scenarios.
The 2016 Cleveland Indians were also a team of destiny. While having a stellar yet heavily unproven rotation with Cy Young Winner Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco, Trevor Bauer, Josh Tomlin, and the underrated Danny Salazar. A bullpen led by the outstanding Andrew Miller, apprenticed with Bryan Shaw, Dan Otero, Mike Clevinger, and their closer Cody Allen shutting things down in the late innings.
Their offense was more unproven than their pitching. With young guys like Yan Gomes, Jason Kipnis, Brandon Guyer, Tyler Naquin, and prospects Jose Ramirez & Francisco Lindor. The veterans on this team were Carlos Santana, Rajai Davis, and Mike Napoli. An evenly weighed offense with balance and great structure. Some hit for home runs, some got on base that later scored, and while others stole bases. A threat no matter how much talent.
