i just made 3 of these for my cousin for christmas. she will LOVE THEM!! all my friends are already asking for one. super easy and quick after i made one i made the second one in a little more than an hour!!
Thank you, I made the little chap. Turned out cute. A few suggestions: - i could work with this because I was referring to other videos as to how to increase/decrease/ add safety hooks, etc - need better instructions on how to sew this chappie neatly. Maybe a no sew pattern in the future - maybe use colourful yarn so we can follow the steps more easily
I followed this tutorial yesterday and I absolutely love it! It was super easy to follow! I did tweak the pattern slightly just to make the body and limbs slightly longer. My little axolotl came out so so cute! Definitely going to be making more! 🥰
making this for my friend whose birthday is in April. She LOVES axolotls and I think she will love this a lot. great tutorial, I would recommend to a friend
It's very easy and quick to make, thank you very much for sharing this pattern, I was able to make my first axolotl amigurumis thanks to you, and I find it really cute! ❤
My brother wanted to get this Axolotl plush, but someone else already bought it so he was sad abt it, so he asked if i could make it for him, i think this will be a good one for him. I’ll update
oh god, thank you very much, I didn’t pay attention to the round numbers, so I accidentally skipped round 4 and for half an hour I didn’t understand why I couldn’t get round 5
Okay Im gonna try this. Im a beginner crocheter, eventhought I crochet since 6 or 7 years but its only a hobby that judt doesnt work out. I dont do it often.See ya in a few hours >:3
Yo Im done :> it turned out pretty good but took me 4 hours to make ○•○ (okay, ofc It took its time to follow the tut) everything was explayned pretty well and I had alot of fun. Im gonna try more of her Tutorials but first my backache has to heal..
I struggle a bit with some aspects of makinf amigurumi, specially sewing and making tiny parts. I couldnt make the gills because the yarn I had was a little tricky to use, so I basically did chains of 5 and 6 and sc hdc back on them and make a "flat" looking gill xD kinda worked for me
Hi! If you have 12 on row 2, you’re already on the right track! Now on row 3, your first stitch should be a single crochet (only 1 crochet in the stitch youre on), and then the next stitch needs to be an inc, or an increase. This is where you put 2 new stitches into the one stitch. Now you alternate this pattern of single crochet, increase, single crochet! Let me know if you have any other questions!
hi.. you have to start over from the beginning, and follow the pattern slowly.. 3rnd : [sc, inc]×6 (18) Sc --> only one single crochet on the loop Inc --> two single crochet on the same loop Thanks for the explanation @user-bc8ge8nn2y
Please help me, i don’t really understand the x 6 part in the pattern (does that mean i need to do it 6 times or is it something else). I also tried to make the head but it turned out really small (like i was missing a big chunk of the pattern)
Hiii I love your videos!!! Thank you for posting free patterns that are so beautifully made!! I was wondering if it would be okay if I created items using your youtube tutorial patterns to sell?
I think a step is missing... there should be another step before adding the eyes. The step before adding the eyes decreases the count to 18, but it looks like when you sew the head to the tail, it looks like the head has 12 to match the body. Otherwise, great tutorial!
I mean, I love it. Except for the amount of sewing lol but I’m not a big one on sewing tons of parts on. Soooo may not do it again, but my likely onetime rainbow dude turned out cute lol. Now to sell it, or not to sell it. Cause I don’t want anyone asking for more😂😂
Can someone explain what (3sc. Inc) x6 (30) means? Because on round five 4:23 I counted the the stitches and there were 16. So where is the 6x and the 30 coming from?
You can do it with any size yarn and whatever hook size the yarn says on the back of the package! You could try with a different hook size as well just don’t go to big of a hook. Bigger hook + bigger yarn = bigger plushie. Smaller hook + smaller yarn = smaller plushie
I can't really see what to do. The video isn't very good quality even when set to full hd. I can't tell in what stich to crochet next. It could have at least been shown in written form. I am gonna have to use a different tutorial.
hi, sorry if the quality of the video is not good, thanks for the suggestion, I will make it even better in the next tutorial regarding the video and additional text explanation 😊 for the description of reading the pattern it's at minute 1:23 😉
1Sc , inc mean = 1st loop : 1sc --> next or 2nd loop : (inc = make 2sc in the same loop) and repeat 6 times until the end of the round 2sc, inc mean = 1sc, 1sc, inc
Hi.. sorry i don't know how many meters to make this😂 but i just using 2 yarn with different color ( 1 soft pink yarn, and 1 pink yarn) and there's still yarn left
mine is really messed up, I dont know why I cant get the head correctly. The shape of the head always went small , even though I followed the steps and count the stitches again and again. 😭 help🥺
Hi.. sorry for late reply.. maybe first you can try basic amigurumi on other video, learn to crochet correct and slowly, don't give up! I know u can do it, enjoy crocheting! 💕
Thank you, i used plush yarn and doubled the amount of each stitch needed and now i have a big axolotl ^^ i used a 6mm hook but i might aswell try it with a different one
increase, then 4 single crochets these are all in different stitches, so an increase in one stitch(2 single crochets in one stitch) followed by 4 single crochets all in different stitches

if i want to make a larger version, do you think i can just multiply the stitches by 4 or 5?
I use 5ply yarn (cow milk cotton yarn) maybe you can try 5ply with another brand of the yarn or you can use plush yarn

I wish I could do that. For someone who don't crochet it looks so complicated 🥲
If you want to make it because you are still a beginner, you can start with 'basic amigurumi' on other UA-cam channels 😊
On round 10, are you decreasing through the front loops only or through the whole stitch?
she decreased in the front loops only
that's what gives the invisible decrease effect
decreased in front loops only (FLO)👌🏻

Can someone explain what (3sc. Inc) x6 (30) means? Because on round five 4:23 I counted the the stitches and there were 16. So where is the 6x and the 30 coming from?
Hi.. you must repeat the pattern 6 times --> 3sc, inc
And at the end of the stitches you should have total 30 stitches
@@tedzukurida_amigurumi thank you!

For the body I keep getting 14 stitches instead of 12 but the round before I have 6- I can't tell where I'm going wrong
You can reduce the 2 loops at the end to make 12, or repeat again with the same pattern until the result is only 12 (repeat slowly)
can i slip stitch and chain 1 before i start a new round??
Hi.. i think it's better not to use slip stitch, for better results😊
I can't really see what to do. The video isn't very good quality even when set to full hd. I can't tell in what stich to crochet next. It could have at least been shown in written form. I am gonna have to use a different tutorial.

Wait for the next video🩷😊
Is a decrease is when you skip 1 stitch?? Im really confused 😢
no, you made a decrease after the previous pattern. Example = (3sc,dec) --> you do 3 single crochets first, then decrease (sc, sc, sc, dec)
Decrease turns two stitches into one stitch, so if you have ten stitches and want to have 8 stitches on the next round you would decrease 2 stitches.
What is the difference between 1sc inc and 2 sc inc?
1Sc , inc mean =
1st loop : 1sc --> next or 2nd loop : (inc = make 2sc in the same loop) and repeat 6 times until the end of the round
2sc, inc mean = 1sc, 1sc, inc
