Brings back memories....68 years old now and retired from the fashion industry other then my own art business. In my fashion art school in the late 60s we had to learn the anatomy of the human form, all the bones, muscles like medical drawings before going on to fashion sketches and illustration. I used to do fashion sketches in color for designers in NYC. Your videos are very instructive and informative, great for beginners..keep up the great work! Kudos Merci
Justine thank you for doing these videos. I drew designs when I was young and just recently got back into it but had no idea how to draw the fashion figure, I only ever drew clothes. I am looking forward to the rest of your videos on this subject!

I just love your videos. This is exactly what I want to learn for my art journaling and you have done these beautifully! Very exact, simple and easy to follow instructions. Can't wait to see how they progress! Wish you would provide a line template to print if possible. Thank you Justine!
I have seen your 4 videos so far on the fashion drawing and its just so nicely explained. I have been struggling for so long to make it correct and proper and your videos just came to me as a hope and its much easier for me to draw and learn now. I would like to request you to upload some on the different postures and angles of fashion figures , as I face a lot of problem drawing different postures. Thank a ton for such videos. :) Its really helpful.
Very interesting. Very good teaching and a very generous teacher!!!!!!!!!! Thanks very much for sharing your ability. And your English, Justine, is very good, just a little french accent, non disturbing at all (I'm Italian).
I love it, Justine! You are very helpful. I have a lot of fashion ideas yet Im unable to visualize them because Im lacking skills on sketching. I'll be following your tutorials!
Wow Justine thank you for doing this video. I have seen other video but I really like your simplicity approach. Not complicated. I understand it better for my course and I can replicate it which is important. You did say you would do one so thank you for keeping your promise.
Hi Justine! I discovered your channel today and have been practicing all afternoon! These are so helpful, thank you so much! I tough of something else that might be helpful: what if you could scan or take pictures of these drawings and post them so it would make a good exercise to copy them after we've watched the video. I don't know, is just a suggestion, since I find myself searching for sketches on pinterest to copy and practice. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
Thank u so much Justine Leconte official for all these tips I'm a 13 year old and I have already made many designs but no one knows abt them . I'm looking forward to make my Identity in these field. If there is anyone reading this and is living in uae or ras al khaimah can u plz help me or give some tips on how can I do some course or just how I can start my carrer
hello justine, thanks for the video, it was helpful. i would love a video on how to actually illustrate the outfit design from the side. so after illustrating the fashion figure and i want to illustrate a dress with a really high side slit, or an dress with ruffles on the side how do i go about it? Thanks in anticipation of your reply
+Nicky Nox Hi :-) Practice is key, you need to spend time drawing the same pose again and again, until your drawing gets consistent in proportions. If you follow me on Facebook (my page is named Justine Leconte), you can send me some of your drawings in a private message & I will have a look :-)
+Orchid Sarkar Hi! That's worth one hour of explanations but I will try to make it fit into a video :-) Or at least explain the process & say what to pay special attention to!
Is this contorted posture really the standard in fashion drawing? In real life such a posture is considered to be one of the spinal malpositions and is called a lumbar lordosis (Hohlrücken) :D
+sushmita anand each head is 1/10 of the height of your paper sheet... Or a bit smaller, so that you have a little free space above and beneath the girl.
So Interesting . Thank you so much ! But I think if you look at this sketch for a while you'll think that this Manequin is pregnant or something wrong like that ! M I the only one who think that ? Anyway , Thank you so much for your amazing videos ! Keep Shinning
+Layla Amarir it is about the attitude it gives to the silhouette. A "bumpy" belly and inverted legs (have you noticed that too?) are my way to give her movement 😉
Creepy-- my Siri that Is supposed to be tuned to my voice thought you were asking her to look for special drink. She thought you were me. Weird. We sound nothing alike.
You teach so well 🙏🏻
Hello Tanks Justine for the part 4 for beginers
You are an angel sent from heaven !!❤️
