Because even though Derek was an ass al lot of the times, Owen is an ass always, a violent angry man that throws a tantrum every time things don't go his way. That's why he and Meredith didn't get along and why Cristina left him in the end.
I love that Meredith is very constant and true that Cristina is her person, even though Cristina is fighting it and pushing Owen to be her person. Then, at the end, Cristina proclaimed that Meredith is indeed her person. This made me realize that your lover could not always be your person and I'm happy the twisted sister proved that. >:) I miss them so much. Grey's Anatomy truly changed the second Cristina left.
Christina had to leave to grow in her field and it was good for merideth too so she could grow as a Dr and as a person . And Christina is a phone and plane ride away

But with Meredith being on a vent I could see Christina coming in and *_making_* Meredith wake up like she did in one of the other time Meredith was "for sure gonna die" moments. (Its happened a lot, so idk which one lol). Or a quick *_sad_* cameo when Meredith does die. Which in my unpopular opinion would be a very Greys anatomy type episode. And make sense. shonda rhimes isnt the showrunner for greys anatomy for some time now and i think thats one reason why sandra oh wouldnt return as yang in the show, only because shonda wrote the character cristina yang as a reflection of herself and sandra oh knew that, i dont think she’d want to ruin that character like that. when derek died there was a cameo of a curly dark haired woman assumed to be cristina so they might do sumn like that
He didn't cheat her at all. Did he? I don't remember anything about the show except few pieces here and there and many deaths of doctors. He was so nice to her. I liked him a lot. I liked Meredith and Christina too. Sandra Oh was probably the first actor I may have searched more about after Derek Shepherd. Bailey was good. I liked George too but he was killed right after first session. Alex was horrible initially but turned out to be a nice guy. His character progressed nicely over the years.
I love how you put the dialogue with Cristina complaining about being kicked out of bed just before the scene where she kicks Derek out of bed. It was like Cristina voicing Derek's complaint.
I'm even more pissed that Patrick reappears in last season. Like why did you have to kill him 😭😭, I wish they could have worked the problems out way before and we would get happy Mer and her Mcdreamy
But their relationship served it's purpose remember the shooting scene. Christina had to operate on Derek and Mer operated through a miscarriage to save Owen. Mer and Christina are soulmates but they also have men who are the love of their lives.
