Anybody else wondering about the african background music???
the irony
they want you to think it is capable of going on safari
It's just a backbeat.
@mickey mouse99 your comment made me burst to tears of laughter
That's not African.
I’ve never seen a boat capable of so many discos
Don't listen to the people in the comments saying this is a rip-off. Personally I think $40,000 for a soap holder is a bargain

I know, I have two of them.

I love how so many comments are trashing on this guy saying he could have given money to the needy. I wonder how much those hypocrites waste on going to the theater, sporting events, buying a coffee every day, living in a bigger house than they need, buying up the latest technology in cell phones, televisions, weight training equipment, cars, surround sound equipment, dining out, etc. Until you are giving much of your money away, don't trash on someone who didn't give his away.
Your right..this guy might give millions away every year...who knows?
The wealthy in society probably donate the most...you can't expect them to give away
all their money to the poor and needy.
For starters, maybe the govt. should help the needy than engaging in wars and spending trillions, all for some weird satisfaction of personal ego.
marc Aslam
yeah the govt should help ! lol. where do govts get "their" $ ? they take it from someone and then graciously give SOME of it to someone else hahaha what a scam
***** right? 300 million on something he probably only uses as a status symbol. I can understand 300 million being spent on lots of things. Food, buildings, developing new technology and helping better the world as a whole. But i couldn't in my right mind imagine spending that much on a fucking boat that isnt even that nice. The reason so many people have issues with this is because there are people all over the world who work everyday just to get by then this asshole buys a boat that never gets used.
trippychill who do you think makes the boat ? and supplies materials etc ? people ! "who work every day " lol do you think the $300 mil just vanishes ? now, how HE makes his money would be something better think about ? making money from money used to be called usury
Once again, having billion$ doesn't guarantee you have good taste.
everyone have a different taste -_-
@@ian1856 well, maybe you're right i'm not really an expert in art, neither in russians :/
Yet he has a massive yacht and has the right to splash the money on whatever he wants, surely that’s not how u or I would decorate the yacht but have u even got one?
theres no definition of a good taste
@@cristianorescu7401 Does he have to own a yacht to be allowed to have an opinion? Like how’s that relevant.
There is no excitement like going on a yatch tour with my family, and I enjoy the thrill that comes with it. I really like this one because the body and interior are both extremely impressive, and I hope to acquire mine soon.
It's a lovely yacht that everyone desires, but the cost is prohibitively high unless you have a high-paying profession.
Multiple streams of income doesn’t ensure you of being financially free,in all you do,you must engage your self in something much profitable in other to meet up to your needs
Always knew that salaries have a limit, and that earnings dictate one's spending.

Yeah, much of this is hideous, just to spend money for the sake of it.
This boat has no taste :I
Everyone has different tastes, there’s no definition of good taste.
If I spent 300 million on a yacht, I'd say "make it look f'ing awesome!". Not... "Make it like an 80s office tower that floats"
toranamunter i was thinking the same thing.
toranamunter floating island
toranamunter maybe it was made in the 80s;)

I couldn't imagine the maintenance upkeep costs of this yacht, not to mention the staff salary for this boat.
Dafuq you doing here mayun!!

Starting salary for a deckhand on that is about 30k and it rises probs to about 200,000 for the captain.
@@andrewtobin5634 which is crazy to think about the amount of money a charter yacht makes, to alone cover the costs of the crew and more
I saw this beauty anchored in Cozumel about 5 years ago. I could not figure out what it was before sunrise. At sunrise some crew came out dressed in whites. They also opened that motor boat bay. I had a Russian speaker with me. We were going to hire a motor boat to go out, and ask boarding permission. My wife came around and said "don't mess with the Russians'. I sure wanted to try.
I put it at 720p but the picture is still 360p :(
Rob Bogarts I got 480p
How about we just let this man be happy?
he can have the same amount of happyness in a 5 million dollar yacht , 300 is overpriced
You can probably buy this with a small loan of a million dollars
You need to ask your father 300 times for a loan...
small lone of 300 milion dollors
This is what you buy with a small loan of a million dollars...25 years later after a lot of work and investing
I got to see this yacht pretty close. It was anchored just out side the harbor I worked at for a short time.
The thing looks really cool from far away, like a military vessel or sub.
I'm a big fan... So many superyatchs look the same as the next one.... But this yacht stands out, probably not another one that looks similar in the world.
What should we call her?
"Princess of the Sea!"
"Neptune!"

put a tomahawk and a 100mm cannon and its a destroyer
Nah 2 rail guns and a laser weapon then its the navy's new zumwalt destroyer.
Does it have an iceberg detector?
The guy that owns this yacht, Andrey Melnichenko, also owned ‘S/Y A’ which got seized, and I think he’s keeping this one on the move - periodically having the crew turn the AIS off - to keep it from being seized as well
"the guest room walls are covered in white sting ray tiles"....m done 😢😩😵
I generally love these big superyachts but this... this is excess in a lot of places. 40k for a faucet nob? If I were a rich businessman I imagine I'd be someone who knew a thing or two about money and could appreciate it's value. He ain't getting his money's worth on them 40k knobs. A lot of people will call it a crime for one man to have so much wealth when so many are so hungry. Ithink the real crime is frivolity. It's wasteful and arrogant.
if you think your ideas are better, how about you get that 300million and spend it however you like.
Soe AhaKar Nice comment
DanTheDragonslayer Most of those Russian billionaires are just front men for powerful cartels and cliques. They are allowed to live like billionaires, but in the end they are just there so the guys who really control the money in Russia can hide behind them.
Also, even if he were a "self made" billionaire, he would have made his money using formerly state owned, rusty old equipment he didn't need to buy or build, to suck oil and/or gas out of the ground. Why should someone like that have an understanding or appreciation for the money he has? It isn't as if he would have come up with great ideas and worked hard to create something new, like people like Bill Gates.
The way those oligarchs and the people behind them became billionaires was that when the Soviet Union collapsed, the formerly state owned companies were just given to the people who worked there. When that happened, smart, weaselly crooks visited those people at home, made them drunk and made them sign their shares in the companies over to them and those workers who refused to do so, were blackmailed and intimidated.
That is how small time crooks, nobody ever had heard of before, suddenly ended up being the owners of formerly state owned Russian oil, gas and mining companies.
They also never invested any money in the infrastructure of those oil fields and gas wells and all that. They still use the rusty, old equipment that was there when they stole the companies.
I'd be surprised if those "business men" even were able to find the oil or gas fields they "own" on a map.
Some people have way to much money
Well they work hard for it unlike u

I should get in the Yacht business. All you need is an ex 1980s military vessel painted in white and then get an eccentric designer to add mirrors, it will costs $3 Million to build. total profit $297 million.
Ask yourselves: If this world is real is it worthy of eternity? The answer is obvious: NO. That's why we leave everything here where it belongs.
Wisdom is what this world needs. I hope many people will learn this someday...
Wisdom inside a yacht is the key
Wisdom No. Foolishness YES. :-)
I couldn't afford the water to wash this boat. However, all the people complaining about "wasting" all that money and doing better by giving it to the poor or charity really don't understand how economics works. They don't think of all the people employed to build it or design it. Manufacture the 1000s of parts. Ship those parts. Refine and ship the fuel to run it. The $ it costs to dock it at a marina which pays their employees salaries. The employees it takes to operate it. Insurance, which employs the insurance co's staff. Maintenance on it which employs dozens more people.
Growing up in San Francisco I remember this yacht sitting in the bay all the time. Beautiful and cool to see.
This Yacht has been anchored off shore at Palm Bay,Margate for a few days (its gone now) close to where I live.I along with all the locals found it very interesting, making a nice change from the usual assortment of cargo vessels that regularly drop anchor in this area.
If the world's 100 richest billionaires gave all their money to the poorest billion people in the world, they would each have a few hundred dollars. It wouldn't end poverty at all
300 million dollars for a boat and 20 bucks for the patch of grass for the dog! poor dog!
Saw this in Auckland when it was getting repainted. What a ship!
I was in our yacht and we passed right next to this thing in Dubai and it made me realize how big it is amazing boat maybe one day but for now, I am happy with our Princess 75
When you are starting to pay 40 grand for each small tile in the showerroom of your boat, you know you've passed all reason. Dude come on.
Do you know what relativity is?
@@Noah55555 Or relevant
Agreed lol
Gotta say the design looks pretty ugly and poorly thought out. The exterior design leaves much to be desired and there is hardly anything you can really do on the deck other than sit in a little spa. Not to mention it looks like its much easier for water to flood the deck and go down into the corridors of the ship and ruin the interior.
I get that this guy wanted to make something that looked like a submarine, but there is a reason why subs are designed to be in such a shape and ships are not. Subs are meant to sink into the ocean. For ships, Not so much...
I really like the exterior, but the interior is suitable tacky for a Russian. Surprised there's not a room lined with striped track suit material.
youmongrel LOL!
Crisis7 who cares you are not allowed to have one !
Crisis7 It looks like a Zumwalt-Class Destroyer... Anyone else think so?
I think the front end of the ship is shaped like that because it's designed to break ice up and out of the way. It's a Russian ship after all.
Great video,keep it up!
It's wonderfully designed. I'd relax and enjoy all the pampering and pleasures.
Saw this yacht up close in Moorea and Bora Bora, two years ago. Pretty impressive to say the least. With its unique design you can't help stopping and staring. My wife and I went to dinner at Mai Kai Bora Bora in Vaitape and ended up sitting a table over from Mr. Melnichenko, his wife and their maltese. Caught a good glimpse of the tender parked at the dock after dinner. Very cool, inside and out! Like a piece of jewelry.
I honestly do not like it and using animal and fish parts to furnish it is outdated and wrong.
+wordonawing Then using plant is all right they are also alive you know. Your logic is blocked by emotion.

Seen it many times loitering around Monaco, when you get up close its size is staggering and it is beautifully made. The poodles plums for sure!
I saw it close in Curacao port. It's huge.
On the side a hatch opens and inside is a 15 meter yought. Incredible.
The design is extremely tacky. All of that glass is pretentious and annoying. Not impressed. I suspect said billionaire is very insecure in many areas.
Agreed. It's ugly as Shit.
+Veronica D. Giovanni jealously at its finest LOL
just cause its not your taste doesnt mean the person is insecure, coz after all, he managed to make all that money somehow. surely he can handle his insecurities. every culture is different, russians seem to like this type of style, judging by their properties and assets that are show cased. thats what he likes, that what he gets.
if pirates step on board he's going to regret buying the finger scanner real fast.
Andrey Melnichenko, you are the man!
It's quite beautiful in person I can imagine, it's in the French Riviera currently, some friends took snapchats of it

Some people think they could create their paradise yet on earth. But even if they have tons of money, they can't buy good taste and their paradise ambitions are ending in tons of trash.

They have extreme security for the master bedroom ON A BOAT!
can you imagine how many strangers you need to have on a payroll just to maintain this boat, let alone run it? It's not an inflatable boat, its a ship!
I saw this yacht in Monaco last April, it really stands out compared to other yachts.
This very impressive mega yacht was moored in San Juan Bay, Puerto Rico for a very long time, before the Covid-19 pandemic. Word of mouth was that it was undergoing extensive maintenance/upgrade work. There’s very little doubt that it’s presence was a “good enough reason” to take a drive to the Old City. The first thing that caught my attention was, besides it’s outstanding beauty, the name on it “A” (as if it needed anything else to catch your attention).
nookie room
nice little touch
Don’t you just love viewing a rich mans boat that needed so many animals to be killed and skinned to prove his opulence and wealth?
Back them animal rights weren't that strong, and there weren't much regulations regarding use of animal skin. Can't look at things retrospectively and complain. That way US, UK, FRANCE and RUSSIA have been the major contributors towards environmental degradation, yet they act as the facilitators of environmental activism today, pointing fingers at other countries who are doing what they did years back. So yeah I'm conclusion you can't really comment on his use of wealth, they way he did back then. Cheerio
Shut up
Really cool on the outside BFU on the inside!
Now that is awesome done just right
hideous design
This looks like an U-boat with superstructure, or then they forgot to turn the hull around before they completed it.

Saw it off the coast of Sardinis. We went around it in a beautiful 1920 sloop belonging to friends. A solitary man in a white terry cloth robe stared down at us.
"He's jealous of our boat" said our witty hostess.
It did have the most CAVERNOUS garaje filled with boats and toys. The crew standing inside were dwarfed by it.

I agree, the bathroom railing looked horrible. for 300 million, you would think he would add better design and more color. It looks very bland.

What a beauty!
If it wasn't for the flat screen TV, I would have thought this was an 80's video.
Good for partying, and elite get-togethers. Although, if it were up to me, I would've spent the $300 million on building a luxury full-size (830 ft) rigid airship (or a "Zeppelin"" as some people would call it) A helicopter pad on top "might" work too... When I'm not using the airship for special events/parties, etc, , I could have it in commercial use, for chartering, etc., to help promote the idea and use of big rigid airships again. I suppose if I could afford the $300 million for the airship, I could also afford another $100 million for a good modern, well staffed shed/hanger facility.. I bet if I did this, I could sell more airships, than that Russian guy could sell more luxury yatchs. I'd show up at that Farnborough Airshow the night before, with all airship's light on, and shuttle VIP's back and forth in the chopper, for walk-through tours of the airship. I think I'd probably fill my quota of orders and serious prospects, to keep the airship building shop busy for a while.
ack-Hem!..(Hindenburg)
Definitely not a blimp, since they're non-rigid, and much smaller.
+MurphMonkey..A way modern one. -Nothing much flammable except for fuel. Of course, when there's a fuel fire, it tends to destroy about everything anyway (what doesn't burn, melts), At least that's how it goes for many conventional aircraft crash fires.
Zepplin fuel doesn't have to be flammable. The Hindenburg and other German Airships at the time only used Hydrogen because the US trade embargo stopped them from getting the Helium they needed to mix with the hydrogen and prevent it from being as Flammable. Modern airships could even use carbon fibre vacuum chambers and get even more lift, with no flammable gas at all.
Yet more proof, if any more was necessary, that great wealth and poor taste are natural companions.
What did you film this with? a Kodak Instamatic? just checking to make sure I never buy one of those cameras.
I have seen this yacht many times anchored a mile offshore in Sausalito California,
