Step 2 of the tutorial (metadata injection) makes the video recognized as 360 by UA-cam - if you're using 360 footage already, this info you already be in your video file. I suggest you simply create a very short 3D video, upload and test! Cheers!
Hello Sirusdark, that's awesome, really! Also, Help pls, i'm stuck!! I'm on a Mac M1 and google injection Tool keeps on crashing. There's a fix if you know coding and Python but i don't. Do you know any alternative to the Google injection Tool or any way to bypass that? I edited this 360 Video on Davinci Resolve. Actually using Insta360 Studio turns it into a 360 video i can upload but for some reason there's a delay with the audio which is like 1min out of sync!! Hope you can help

That's a very good question! But first, what other devices and video players are you referring to? If they are compatible with 360 video, I would think so - but don't quote me on that!

Well, if just watching in 360 isn't enough and you want your audience/viewer to move *within a scene* and explore, etc., then you need to go the 3D route. That is, using a game engine for instance. This requires a lot of work as you must import or convert everything to a 3D space, including actor's performance, audio, VFX, and well, everything. :) If you meant taking 360 media and "convert" it to VR, unless your VR supports 360 video, you can't just "turn it" into a 3D interactive space. I used a professionally designed 360 image for simplicity's sake (which was graciously provided by the artist), but you can use ANY source material in your video editor! Again, keep it mind you can't expect good results if the source media (images, video, animation, etc.) is not made for 360 viewing. If you're searching how to *author 360 content,* then this tutorial would be the LAST step in that process. I checked your channel and noticed you liked to translate things into *Bulgarian* - if you ever want to do a collaboration, it would be a pleasure to make a tutorial translated in Bulgarian! If you have input material that is 360 degrees, there is no point in processing because it is already in it. In principle, you can make a 360-degree video from any, but not like that. The simplest is the form that the site also uses. The image is in the form of a cube that has been dissolved. They call it Cubemap and in it the photos/video is flat.

For the 180 degrees, _180_TB is simply set in the name, and for those with 360 degrees, _360_TB if the two copies are top and bottom or _180_LR or _360_LR if they are left and right. With these minor name changes, my video player sees them like this. At the time, there were special ones, but this format is no longer available anywhere, or at least I haven't seen it in at least 10 years. It was for QuickTime player and in a browser you can, for example, look at a room in a house and with a click go and look at another with a 360 degree view. It was for the house of some three girls from series Charmed. I still have the files but none of my players play them properly now.

If you're already have a video file, inject, test with VLC (to see the result before uploading), then if satisfied, upload and enjoy!
