The writing is terrible. "Ok guys, put in 30 minutes of degenerate behavior, nudity, inappropriate sexual acts, make fun of the republicans, and at the end of the episode progress the story just barely at all..."
Well said. There's a lot of fan boys saying the show isn't bad because it's woke, and I'll concede that at this point. My main issue is the constant political gaslighting. Lefty audience is going to come away thinking every conservative is a psychotic redneck that's Q obsessed or something. I think that is clearly by design going into this election season, btw. I can no longer recommend the show especially with the absurd debauchery barely being relevant to the story as well.
@@MrChaosi @randomhuman2595 The fact that you two _fall for it,_ shows that you really are as stupid as Amazon thinks we _all are._ Let someone who lives in reality _break it down for you._ When the show is making fun of the Left...it only ever goes to show how "shallow" and ineffective the woke virtue-signaling is...Like Ashley saying that BLM is in all her twitter handles. Or how it's all just corporate pandering, like at Vought-World and all the "products" that they are selling. Heck, them making fun of Disney is not only tame as Hell, but it's _real rich_ considering that this show is made by _Amazon._ Now let's compare that to when the show is making fun of the Right... The show is going out of it's way to paint anyone who is right-leaning as a _radical extremist._ Let's take Stormfront for example; she was a literal Trojan Horse - when we first get introduced to her, she calls out all the woke Pandering Bullshit that Vought Does with that "Girls Get it Done" campaign; only to later reveal that she was a _literal_ N@zi. Thereby pointing the finger at the audience and saying, "If you agreed with Stormfront, you're a N@zi _too."_ But all of that pales in comparison to what they are doing with Season 4. The stuff that they are having Firecracker say that mirrors of the real world, is all their attempt to discredit it all; "because the badguys are saying it. Everyone knows the Supes are the badguys; you don't wanna agree with the badguys, do you?" But it gets even worse than that. As of Episode 7, it becomes clear to me that they are _literally trying to rewrite History._ The episode starts out with Amazon _literally trying to defend Antifa._ They're trying to make the claim that Antifa - an actual domestic terrorist organization - is nothing more than a right-wing talking point. It's disrespectful to all of the lives they've ruined with all the damage they've caused. And now, because the Showrunners lack any kind of self-awareness, they're trying to reframe the narrative, by setting up the climax of the season to fall _on January 6th._ For the one thing, they're talking about evoking the 25th to get Neuman as President - an amendment used to unseat the President if they are deemed "unfit." They're making it into a "right-wing" talking point, because it's something that _should have been done_ to unseat Biden, considering he has _dementia!_ But how quickly the Left forgets when they're forming narratives, considering they were trying to pull the 25th since _day-one_ of Trump's presidency. And they have the nerve to call it a _coupe_ But getting to the larger and more obvious elephant in the room - they're setting it up to where the Seven will assassinate Robert Singer so that Neuman can take-over on the Presidency. This is obviously supposed to lampoon the "Jan 6 Attack" - an incident in which one person was killed - that was supposedly worse than 9/11 - an incident were 3000 people were killed. They're setting it up like some kind of conspiracy, completely lacking the awareness that _everyone knows_ that Jan 6 was a set-up conspired _by the Left_ in order to use as a weapon against Trump. (It has been proven that A; Trump did nothing wrong, and B; the Jan 6 committee falsified and destroyed evidence that would've proved A much sooner. And C; Trump's now got immunity for it anyway.) And Hell, do I even need to go over _The Deep?_ The character is literally a walking strawman of everything the Left accuses white men of being of. In conclusion...there is a _clear disparity_ in how the show chooses to make-fun-of "both sides" of the political aisle. As I've demonstrated up above, the show treats everything the left does as _harmless._ Meanwhile, the show is trying to portray the Right as _literal. Fucking. Monsters._ But what am I bothering for? At this point, I'm convinced that you guys are either bots or burner accounts, only ever replying to comments on videos that you don't like, trying desperately to defend the shit made by people who _hate you._ Hell, once you guys reply to this with "TL;DR" or "Dude wrote a fucking novel" or any kind of excuse to _not read and learn_ outside of your little Echo-Chamber...It will just prove that you guys don't have the attention span.
That 21% was the fans they gained from Season 3 viewership. It has absolutely no reflection on the quality of Season 4. The fact that viewership has steadily declined since the political overtones have been revealed logically leads us to conclude fans are turned off by this change. These shows really need to wake up to the fact that you can’t politicize your show with the way politics are today and expect a positive response. I don’t recall any show doing this that it has worked out as a ratings boost for them.
Did everyone forgot that this show is all about a political satire? The Boys comics was created back during the Bush Administration during the early 2000s, making a fun of the politics during that time. Its the same as all the other seasons before it. Too many people calling things woke, especially when this one is all in context compared to terrible shows like Star Wars Acolyte!
@@supertrendymoneymaker0722 Yeah, it hasn't bothered me honestly. The plot is slow and boring this season so far, but I've enjoyed it. The political commentary doesn't bother me. That really is how stupid things are today. It's always been a political satire. Just people getting their panties in a bundle over being offended. And they call the other side snowflakes. Which of course, doesn't belong to one side or another. This season is weaker though. Some good scenes in every episode though.
@@jonny-b4954 Fair enough but people getting bothered by the show making fun of the Right is laughable! They made fun of the Left so many times, yet no complaints LOL!!! Especially the part last season where the Supe Cop beat up that BLM crowd. Plus season 3 hinted that The Boys was going in the direction to paint Homelander as Trump, and Starlight as a Liberal Rebel girl against the Right. It’s funny and the show will get better and there is one more season.
@@supertrendymoneymaker0722The political satire was more even distributed across both sides in the first season and slowly became one-sided. Also, it doesn't help that they had the TV host say that they have to take shots at the home team to make it look like they are biased. And the Supe cop killing BLM wasn't making fun of the left but the right. All I'm saying is that the show handle all this better in earlier seasons and it has been getting progressively worse. And it doesn't help that the writing and story is becoming worse too. And they stopped adapting the comic in Season 3. So they aren't even telling the same story.
Doesn't even feel like the same show anymore. Starlight's actress butchered her own face, Frenchie randomly stopped giving a shit about Kimiko, and the bombardment of woke bits sprinkled in just rub us all the wrong way.
I disagree about the woke stuff the boys has always been making fun of both sides and this season hasn’t changed that. But the writing is ass this season
@@oscarnator2324 ... There is a line between "well crafted satire"... and... "overt social engineering" What you have noticed in season 4 and attributed to "bad writing"... is what it looks like when one turns into the other. It's being written by activists
The problem with Season 4 is it is just a set-up for Season 5. No real central plot, no real character development, just an attitude of "We're excited for Homelander overthrowing the government, so let's just get through this to get to that!"
4 is only American politics because they are naming real politicians and political movements and presenting those left wing politics as the enemy of the evil supes.
The first season was excellent, second season was good but a noticeable drop off in quality, and Season 3 was average at best. Season 4 is a dumpster fire. I quit watching after they changed up all of the main characters; what they did to Frenchie was such a shame.
Yeah that Frenchie thing gave me whiplash.. No problem with gay characters but I cant recall Frenchie being even hinted at being gay and suddenly he's gobbling sausage.... whiplash
Terrible what they did to Frenchie. Other characters also changed: Starlight was originally shown as a naieve girl who wanted to be a good hero, now she's revealed being a former bully and spreader of gossip. Homelander is more pathetic than scary. The Hughie in de dungeon scene is pampering to the alphabeth community. Black Noire is now a talkative person (and yes I known he's been replaced by a new dude).
I actually burst out laughing last episode and then just turned it off, when Homelander is trying to give that speech to the political donors / powerful CEO's, mixed in with them naming donations to give Teknights money away too. Its like it was written by Chat GPT. "Hey audience, REPUBLICANS BAD!" This season was already boring me with a few side-stories that I just did not give a crap out. Gay Frenchie and Hughie's dad were eye-rolling, but that last episode was the final nail for me, I'm just... disinterested at this point. Whoever they're writing for, I hope they enjoy the rest of the show - its not for me.
Huey was subjected to extended non-consensual S.A and it was played for laughs.. imagine if that was starlight or kimiko. Would it have been funny ,then?.
@rottinghill no it wouldn't have every one would have thrown a fit and the feminist would be calling to have the show terminated before season 5 was even here.
They are inserting names of real politicians to force the "that's the right wing" stuff while doing the weird sex stuff to try and then insult "the right wing." They are trying super hard to force "we hate Republicans and they are are evil" over trying to tell any coherent story
Ugh, I've always hated this show. It's just boring "dEcONsTruCtiON" of superheroes and muh evil Superman (something that's been done to death by this point). Boring edgelord crap.
Well, you can do evil versions of hero characters well, so long as you can properly explain their actions. The red son and superman: the dark side, were decent looks at "what if Superman came from here," and he's still the same guy under different circumstances. Superheroes with no reason to be good, would likely become evil degenerates. Developing characters around the premise can be done well. A-train has to deal with the consequences of his actions, and that's a good character arc. Homelander isn't completely evil and he definitely has every reason to be like he is, but then you have his son that can either be evil or be a good person, which can also affect homelander, who's own dad tried to kill him. There are right and wrong ways to do things. The boys keeps doing so much shit wrong.
Realize that this is based on a comic that started in 2006 and ended in 2012, which was probably the beginning of the superhero deconstruction era. Complaining about this now is like going back and watching the Wizard of Oz and then complaining that color in film is passé.
@@Pengalen I'm complaining about this now because this show is being being made now. Saying you can't complain about something because it is from the past is just... I don't even know what to call that sort of logic 🤦🏼
@@logangodofcandy I get what you're saying but tbh, I'm just sick of deconstruction and evil Superman clones full stop. It's boring and overly negative. What purpose does it actually serve? Superman inspires hope, what is the purpose of Homelander as a character? To inspire dread, demoralisation and misery? It's extremely unhealthy. There's nothing profound about a character like him. The only purpose he serves is to act as a surrogate for the authors own degenerate desires. People throughout all of recorded history have loved heroes and it's only in the last 30 years or so that people have suddenly started getting a b0ner from reading stories where villains are the main character and "heroes are boring" propaganda is pushed. It's a sickness and a mind virus that has overtaken people... And we need to be asking why.
Yea i'd really like to know where they got this idea for Tek Knight from anyway. In the comics he had a tumor which lead to weird compulsions but he was never some gay sadist.
I think the whole "superhero deconstruction" concept has gotten stale, especially with a show like 'The Boys' where it's main hook is the shock factor. You can only be shocked so many times before you become numb to it
@@RandomMackem0069 its been done for a while now, here and there. after all the deconstruction work it all becomes its own construction so to speak, so it isn't fresh air and roses anymore, it got stale
season 1 to 3 were entertaining enough.. season 4 is awful and I am struggling with it. My issue with it is the relationship between Kimiko & Frenchie, it feels so out of touch & place. Those 2 were glue to together and all of a sudden in 4, they are distant and acting completely different to what they were in S1 - 3. The writing is off, its not hooking me no more, only reason why I watch it is because I do want to see the progression of these characters 'The Boys' & the 7... but now.. I'm planning or itching to check out the comic book instead. S4 I've actually skipped scenes coz they are boring.

It took 5 seconds of that sauna scene in episode 2 to shut it off forever.. The right wing bashing was bad enough but that scene was beyond acceptable.
The problem is that they put those scenes it there and specifically express that these are right wing people. They did it again in episode 6. The thing is, unless they specifically identify them as right wing, everyone sees them as being left wing. They are shoehorning it all in there, because all of their actual criticisms are of the left, but they're projecting

I absolutely despised the latest episode and will never watch another. it was completely disgusting. Horrible show created by angry, idiotic people with no idea what "alt-right" people actually believe.
It's blatantly trying too hard to be political and create rhetorical caricatures of conservatives. I don't mind lampooning political sides, but this has just become virtue signaling fanfiction. Also, it appears like a few of the actors on the show (Erin Moriarty for sure, but Laz Alonso looks odd too; maybe he just lost weight) underwent plastic surgery that has made them look unsettling. In addition, many of the characters have regressed in character growth; strides that they underwent in the past have seemingly all come undone as they engage in reckless behavior that goes against their character's growth in past seasons.
Homelander is becoming more and more pathetic character instead of menacing. He's just a deus-ex-machine that the writers use to eliminate characters that are no longer needed.
Seth Rogans shit tier writing and Kripke's ego probably have something to do with it. Political undertones have been exchanged for sledgehammer, so on the nose its obnoxious, political jabs at almost every single fucking scene involving vought. Plus the retreads of the same story threads that are done every single season, Butcher going rogue, MM and his family, Frenchie choosing Kimiko or some old fling of his, etc... its super old by now.
At this point its really a time investment thing. People watched 3 seasons and they want to know how it ends. Also no its not politics, its the bad writing, Kripke has a history of not sticking the landing.
I’m usually like that with bad shows just to see how they finish. I didn’t even get through the 1st episode of season 4 and don’t plan on going back. It was just bad from the get go and anything that made it fun wasn’t there anymore
It's going for too many cheap sex and shock scenes. The way they've written Frenchie and kimiko now, it's becoming a parody of a satirical parody lol. If they focused more on homelander and the boys actually gunning for them instead of these pointless side stories. Nobody cares about Frenchie and his gay ex. Or hughie and his dad, or kimiko and her friend.

Very glad I gave up watching the show after season 3 now it turning into a parody of itself with teenager edgelord writing and seeing some of the clips on twitter was very cringe. It interesting seeing comments about how the showrunner back in season 1 care about starlight SA scene to season 4 hughie SA scene finding it funny just very sick and gross.
Those comments in the Variety article of Kripke calling Batman fascist and hunting "poor people" are so unbelievably cringe. Wtf is he talking about? It's no wonder Supernatural had such an undercurrent of cynicism.

@@PettyCrow-n9cThe reason they hate batman is because of his wealth. That's pretty much it. It doesn't matter that batman is actually an inspiration of the human soul and spirit, that he is actually just and merciful to his enemies and seeks the good of even those he fights. He represents old aristocracy, and they can't abide by it. Batman was born into privilege and blessed with many material goods, but none like his family which he tragically lost. Instead of wasting his money in vain and pointless ways, he recognized the innate responsibility his gifts carried and sought virtuous use of them for the whole common good, and by so doing changed his city and world forever. He violates their ideological belief that being wealthy is identical with being evil. Batman uses his money for the genuine benefit of others both privately in anonymity of the highest order, and publically as Bruce Wayne, in ways far more efficient than even the best of us in reality, but that's still not enough for these people, nothing ever could be.
Love the review that says "read the graphic novel", as if the graphic novel wasn't terrible. The first two seasons were very flattering to the source material.
I actually read the comics, and I really enjoyed them. I don't understand the criticism against them. Some people seems to really hate them. I personally find them far superior than the show. The show was dope for the first 2 seasons tho.
The random 5 star review shown in the background was the best. "This is the greatest show ever made... I cant wait to show this to my future children". That has to be the greatest troll ever 🤣. There's no way that guy is having kids
They had an opportunity to satirize both political parties, rather than choosing one distinctly. And it would have been fitting for the Boys (as a team)
That would have made it even worse. The whole "both parties are evil" shtick is tired and boring. I'd rather see people actually pick beliefs instead of shitting on them all.

Listen... showrunner politics aside... this season's writing has taken a huge nosedive... all I see is shock value moments more and more often and for longer periods than actual plot. Yes I know shock moments are apart of the show but now it's the only thing that gets the most attention and the plot is just meandering. This latest ep... Hughie is sexually assault for nearly half the ep... this show is fucked.

Yeah I really don’t understand his condition and figured he’d be a supe n done with this ongoing coughing up stuff n ear slime… then there’s frenchie and poor starlights face .. it’s a mess
I stopped watching after the halfway point of season 4, but you're telling me that Butcher is still running around doing nothing of importance? This is why I stopped watching: no sense of direction, everyone's character arc is boring, and I hate how some of the old characters are repeating character arcs that were already done before!
I just thought it'd be funny to mention that I was late to work the other night because of a road raging Karen who's license plate read "4Q0LYT3" or "Acolyte."🤦♂️
Another thing to add to the entire mess is the surfacing of how much of a prick Antony Starr is behind the scenes and just in general. If I remember correctly, when he was down here in NZ filming Outrageous Fortune, he started a bar brawl in downtown Auckland. The guy has a history of being a bit of a thug and I imagine Homelander is closer to his actual personality than we think.
Doesn't bother me. Some of the most talented actors in history have been dicks ... and at least he isn't constantly on Twitter trying to virtue his way through life.
Binged the whole series for the first time before Seaon 4 and you can see a slight delcine between seasons. But Season 4 falls off the cliff with its quality, there's moments of greatness but the references and politics are gonna age this like milk in years to come.
The level of Kripke's TDS goes deeper than a lot of people noticed. In Supernatural, love the show, but in the final season they were doing a multiverse plotline and in one of the universes Russia gate was real and Trump went down for it. It was a 2 second news blurb in a building right before it got erased by the show's version of God. But that just makes it even worse. He knows it was BS so he made it true in a separate universe from his main fictional universe. That's how unhinged he is. That is why The Boys is about Trump. He is a cultist.
To be fair, Kripke left Supernatural after season 5 and didn't really have a hand in the writing for the rest of the show. Andrew Dabb, who made the terrible Netflix Resident Evil show, did the multiverse storyline in the last few seasons of Supernatural.
I have given a ton of leeway to this season so far but in this last episode the plan to enter the mansion was the dumbest idea the boys team has ever thought of and then when Homelander sees the bullet hole in sages head and just does nothing was a bridge too far. The guy can see through walls for fucks sake he could’ve just stood in place scanned the whole house and seen them all in two seconds but nope. So incredibly dumb.
I Like it the only thing that pisses me of and cant be forgiven is frenchie after 3 seasons of kinda falling in love with kimiko, is now all of a sudden completly fagott. Season 4 seems like they are building it up for the finale season
yea the story pretty much died, like lets get on with it and sprinkle in the nasty shit and political shit but its like they made the whole show about that.
Yeah I'm fairly sure I'm done with this show after episode 6. Ep 5 showed a bit of promise but they had to flush any good will down the toilet with whatever the f*ck ep 6 was.
That’s exactly how I felt, episode 6 killed all excitement for the next episodes, I might check episode 7 if nothing happens I won’t even watch the finale.
It's mostly terrible. It's gross sex stuff, while they use names of real people to say "see, it's republicans doing sick sex stuff and are all evil." They're doing it with real names, because when they did it without them, everybody just saw the supes and corporations as democrats.
It's boring. The gore isn't shocking any more. The kid playing homelanders son is horrible. Also, everyone is still the same as season 1. Starlight (the actress) looks horrible. I really liked Solider Boy in season 3. He is gone.
I’m not even political whatsoever and it pisses me off so much when people reject all criticism as “angry right wingers” or “homophobes”. They are literally doing the same exact things as the people who blindly defend homelander and firecracker.
@@HallowzDevAlso how the show tries to show the Starlight side as the virtuous and moral high ground. Starlight is a terrible person and the reason she ever seems decent is because she's surrounded by people even worse than her.
I do agree not some much of poor writing but that there are too many stories going on. While characters have developed sense we first saw them I do think changes of characters really don't fit given everything we've seen. I think certain love stories for our heros don't make sense given they haven't been about that from day one. I do feel certain things are hidding in the wings. And yes I do understand certain new characters not being liked for certain reasons. Overall I think the creators are trying to do too much this season and it is affecting the viewership. Ultimately I am still wondering how the big bads will be taken down in the end.
I'm done with it, the last episode just put me right off. The first 2 seasons were great, third season I started to just see the whole Homelander Trump bash republicans deal, the last 2 episodes were just a leftists wet dream. Defo agree that's it's is just perverted shit for shock factor
I watched it here and there this season. It’s really bad shock value with a very obvious agenda. It doesn’t resemble the original content at all and it’s pretty boring to be honest.

People point out that it was one sided political but the left always gas light people by telling them "It make fun of both sides" but would hit the left lightly and the right hard. Now they mock people for when they notice it going even more hard to politics as being too dumb to notice it politic when they spend years lying to people.
Amen. And I say that as a former Democrat who, thank God, came to his senses. I'm voting Trump, and ONLY Trump. May he crush the jackasses on the other side.
How many people aren’t able to pay attention to the overall themes of this season? It's insane. Everyone is at their lowest, starlight doesn’t have her image or brand anymore, butcher is dying and his relationship with everyone has been damaged, frenchie is succumbing to the guilt of his previous murders, kimiko is realising that she wasn’t just a passive victim of the shining light but actively contributing to others suffering, hughie is dealing with the betrayal of Neuman being the villain the whole time. Obviously it’s not as action packed as season 3 but there needs to be set up otherwise the final season would fall completely flat.
@@MushroomBasher that's the thing: the sub plots comes across as boring, edgy, and forced. It's jarring and inconsistent how every character are having character arcs all at the same time with said characters devolving (seriously, it's like Goku forgetting how to turn Super Saiyan after fighting Frieza or something) or just aimless. I liked every member of The Boys until season 4 and now I picture them as teenagers going through an angst phase that forgot about killing Homelander. Even the new characters barely gives people a reason to care... And what's with the disturbing scenes?!
How they put Urban in the background and just switch Frenchies character so quickly is baffling to me. Homelander is still worth the watch currently to me. The rest is kind of standard to be expected type fare. Oh, and Starlights upper lip being immobile and Homelanders sons voice is beyond irritating.
To me the type of story it is I’m surprised it lasted so long in the Comics let alone the Amazon TV series. I think it should’ve been written in a way where season 3 should have been the final season. Even the Showrunners sound like they know they’re running out of steam because I think they announced that season five will be the final season. A show needs one hell of a hook and reason to have such longevity. How long does it take to find a way to kill Homelander? to the point we all think what is Homelander waiting for? he could just kill all his enemies & take over the Earth right now
We're what, 5 or 6 episodes in? I can't tell you anything that's actually advanced the plot for the entire series so far. They really jumped the shark with the killer sheep. The focus has stopped being on the main characters (at least the Butcher/Homelander driving element of it) and has been 90% filler so far. Bringing Simon Pegg back just to kill him off, for what? A 30 second pay off that doesn't seem to have had any material impact on Hughie anyway?
Woke or not, the writing just sucks. The arcs are not coherent and don't tie into each other. The characters lost depth and would do things they wouldn't do. Haphazard events occur without much regard with anything else and when the plot advances at all it is mainly propelled by pure chance and coincidence. Nothing seems to really happen for a reason and there are basically just excuses to why something happened nailed on after the events and that isn't too persuasive. On top of that.... wtf is up with the horrible tentacle CGI? It is just soooo bad....
And when I point out specific scenes and how they are bad I get a bunch of people jumping on me for being a TRUMP SUPPORTER!!! Dude, I'm not even American. I haven't lived in the Stated for 15 years so I couldn't care less about your contemporary politics. Just write better and not blame the ratings on the far right. I mean, people do in fact live out of your country.
Geez-us, it's only gonna go 5 seasons. Can we not just enjoy anything until the end these days? Gotta dump all over everything? Ya don't like it, turn it off.
I will say this, this season is probably the worst and thats probably because its filler for season 5 so I'll keep watching because the story needs to end
Bet it wouldn't be hilarious if it were a woman. Another bet is we wouldn't see it if it were Starlight or Kimiko. After all we only saw the Deep with his pants down, and Starlight throwing up.
Same. Last season Butcher, Homelander, Maeve, and Soldier Boy carried an otherwise poor season. Then they nerfed Soldier Boy and Maeve and shunted Butcher to a side quest. Homelander is the only interesting character left and he's the villain.
The character development goes nowhere, Frenchies romance went nowhere, Kumiko did nothing. The shock factor used to supplement great scripting, now the shock factor has become the primary storyline.
I'm just over the constant degeneracy in the show. Feels like I'm getting beaten over the head with how R rated they're trying to make it. The politics have gotten so blatant that even my husband, who usually doesn't mind the political overtones, said that it was overdone.
Yeah, the politics would've been fine if they weren't written by a 14yo. There's no subtlety. There are just blatantly evil characters saying things like:" Oh by the way, I'm super racist and abortions are bad". And then you have good characters mentioning Elizabeth Warren and BLM. They aren't even making a statement. They are just dropping buzzwords.
Script has been going downhill since S1 pretty steadily. S4 is an embarassment with that (SPOILERS!) twist with Butcher's imaginery friends. Just so lousy.
The writing is terrible. "Ok guys, put in 30 minutes of degenerate behavior, nudity, inappropriate sexual acts, make fun of the republicans, and at the end of the episode progress the story just barely at all..."
Exactly!
💯
Perfect way to explain this. Smh
I was also thinking The Boys is getting more degenerate and more left wing every season. It is progressing down the toilet.
Funny how despite all the woke politics, the ONLY interesting and entertaining character is the straight, middle aged white guy!

The fact that you two _fall for it,_ shows that you really are as stupid as Amazon thinks we _all are._
Let someone who lives in reality _break it down for you._
When the show is making fun of the Left...it only ever goes to show how "shallow" and ineffective the woke virtue-signaling is...Like Ashley saying that BLM is in all her twitter handles. Or how it's all just corporate pandering, like at Vought-World and all the "products" that they are selling. Heck, them making fun of Disney is not only tame as Hell, but it's _real rich_ considering that this show is made by _Amazon._
Now let's compare that to when the show is making fun of the Right...
Thereby pointing the finger at the audience and saying, "If you agreed with Stormfront, you're a N@zi _too."_
But all of that pales in comparison to what they are doing with Season 4. The stuff that they are having Firecracker say that mirrors of the real world, is all their attempt to discredit it all; "because the badguys are saying it. Everyone knows the Supes are the badguys; you don't wanna agree with the badguys, do you?"
But it gets even worse than that.
And they have the nerve to call it a _coupe_
But getting to the larger and more obvious elephant in the room - they're setting it up to where the Seven will assassinate Robert Singer so that Neuman can take-over on the Presidency. And C; Trump's now got immunity for it anyway.)
And Hell, do I even need to go over _The Deep?_ The character is literally a walking strawman of everything the Left accuses white men of being of.
In conclusion...there is a _clear disparity_ in how the show chooses to make-fun-of "both sides" of the political aisle. As I've demonstrated up above, the show treats everything the left does as _harmless._
Meanwhile, the show is trying to portray the Right as _literal. Fucking. Monsters._
But what am I bothering for? At this point, I'm convinced that you guys are either bots or burner accounts, only ever replying to comments on videos that you don't like, trying desperately to defend the shit made by people who _hate you._
Hell, once you guys reply to this with "TL;DR" or "Dude wrote a fucking novel" or any kind of excuse to _not read and learn_ outside of your little Echo-Chamber...It will just prove that you guys don't have the attention span.

@@jonny-b4954 Fair enough but people getting bothered by the show making fun of the Right is laughable! They made fun of the Left so many times, yet no complaints LOL!!!

Ugh, I've always hated this show. It's just boring "dEcONsTruCtiON" of superheroes and muh evil Superman (something that's been done to death by this point). Boring edgelord crap.
Precisely.

This season has been a little slower, with yes, a couple weak subplots, but it’s building up to next season which will mostly likely be a highly action packed conclusion. Anti woke crowd doesn’t provide valid criticisms. Let’s not pretend the political satire isn’t the deciding factor with most of you guys.
I loved it when it first came out,Now it’s just a bit meh,
Listen... showrunner politics aside... this season's writing has taken a huge nosedive... all I see is shock value moments more and more often and for longer periods than actual plot. Yes I know shock moments are apart of the show but now it's the only thing that gets the most attention and the plot is just meandering. This latest ep... Hughie is sexually assault for nearly half the ep... this show is fucked.
Think you nailed it just kinda meh, without direction. Butcher is all over the place one minute seems a supe next minute back to coughing and dying just lacking direction
@@odindarkll3706 same. I’m really not following it.
Butchers tumor/cancer is suped up like the Boys cartoon.
@@arkeshn729 hmmm.. I preferred him with homelanderesque powers
Loved the 1st season... A downhill from there... The 4th is terrible.
I did enjoy season 2.
i dont understand you guys i though that season 3 and 4 were amazing
I just thought it'd be funny to mention that I was late to work the other night because of a road raging Karen who's license plate read "4Q0LYT3" or "Acolyte."🤦♂️
Worse season ever. They BUTCHERED this poor show.
Who cares about that. Most actors are dicks in real life just like sportsmen or musicians.
Doesn't bother me. Some of the most talented actors in history have been dicks ... and at least he isn't constantly on Twitter trying to virtue his way through life.
I am sure how good those reports are but his castmates from Banshee say he is OK to work with and they had no problems with him in that show.
They basically showed what happens at most political/Hollyweird parties.
a monday at Bill and Hillary's house.
@@richardheggoschan I stand corrected. Didn't know that. They are really similar minds then.
Jared Padalecki is rumoured to be appearing in the fifth/final season
Loved Soldier Boy but I doubt even his character can save the shitfest this show has become.
Who?
@@Saiku Sam Winchester
Who wants to watch Captain fantastic in his form-fitting underwear anymore?
homelander is the best part of the show
I have given a ton of leeway to this season so far but in this last episode the plan to enter the mansion was the dumbest idea the boys team has ever thought of and then when Homelander sees the bullet hole in sages head and just does nothing was a bridge too far. The guy can see through walls for fucks sake he could’ve just stood in place scanned the whole house and seen them all in two seconds but nope. So incredibly dumb.
I remember in Season 1 when Homelander was an actual competent villain and scary asf, now he's just a more aggressive version of The Deep.
they've replaced any story telling with just going for shocks
I Like it the only thing that pisses me of and cant be forgiven is frenchie after 3 seasons of kinda falling in love with kimiko, is now all of a sudden completly fagott. Season 4 seems like they are building it up for the finale season
Interesting how some shows can show things that are worse than things you can say to get banned on most social media.
yea the story pretty much died, like lets get on with it and sprinkle in the nasty shit and political shit but its like they made the whole show about that.
There doesn't seem to be much interest in the new season as you are the only channel I see talking about the Boys.
It's mostly terrible. It's gross sex stuff, while they use names of real people to say "see, it's republicans doing sick sex stuff and are all evil."
They're doing it with real names, because when they did it without them, everybody just saw the supes and corporations as democrats.
It's boring. The gore isn't shocking any more. The kid playing homelanders son is horrible. Also, everyone is still the same as season 1. Starlight (the actress) looks horrible. I really liked Solider Boy in season 3. He is gone.
Soldier boy should come back at the end, not that people will still be present to watch at that point
The whole frenchie getting out of jail for several murders because his friend had connections was the LAZIEST WRITING.
“This show is actually making fun of you” ☝️🤓
@@zillauniverse7208 this quip has the same energy as, "This show has always been political, forehead!"
I can't tell you how many times i have hear this response.
Instead of making excuses, just accept that people don’t like it because it’s a poorly made season.
The problem with this type of TV show is that you have to balance the violence and story so sometimes cut the gor and add more story.
Marketing have taken a demographic of viewers and entered all the data into tumbler and bullet pointed the script on a whiteboard...sharpie theatre
Why is Hughie even on the team? His qualifications were he worked at radio shack and is only there because his gf died
Its so fucking boring anymore
Interestingly, I always knew this was an anti MAGA show. Which is exactly why I refuse to watch it! TOO BIG TO RIG BABY TRUMP 2024 TAKING OUT THE WOKE TRASH🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Meet the new trash, same as the old trash
Sure hope Trump loses.
season 4 sucks but I'm invested. I knew this is were it was going when they started replacing characters for DEI reasons.
Set up for 80% of the season is not enjoyable
How they put Urban in the background and just switch Frenchies character so quickly is baffling to me. Homelander is still worth the watch currently to me. The rest is kind of standard to be expected type fare. Oh, and Starlights upper lip being immobile and Homelanders sons voice is beyond irritating.
the head writer told us not to watch and guess what we stopped watching
Amazon keep telling me it's there to "keep watching" as I watched the first 3 but I've no interest
How long does it take to find a way to kill Homelander? to the point we all think what is Homelander waiting for? he could just kill all his enemies & take over the Earth right now
it doesnt have the magic because hes made it about his pillow biting TDS baby rage 😊
It's turned to trash
Geez-us, it's only gonna go 5 seasons. Can we not just enjoy anything until the end these days? Gotta dump all over everything? Ya don't like it, turn it off.
That's the culture and trend now. Harshly critique everything, cry and whine.
So the same way no one is forcing you to watch these videos? Stop whining and enjoy your poorly made CNN propaganda of a show.
@@RFMovieReviewsThe culture is more like create zero effort garbage content then shame the fans for not liking it.
I dipped out after Season 2. Kripke's politicking turned me off.
I will say this, this season is probably the worst and thats probably because its filler for season 5 so I'll keep watching because the story needs to end
I watch it every week but since the adverts came in, I no longer watch it via prime. I can’t be the only one!
Yeah same
The show is becoming just like the comic lol
Yeah but the comics had a good storyline and twist that Amazon blew.
Dont read the comic and the show. Btw foes anyone want deadpool or any other anti hero to actually come in and actually saught all the characters out?
@@BIGCHUNGUSESUNITED I've read the comic long ago. It's alright for what it is.
Bet it wouldn't be hilarious if it were a woman. Another bet is we wouldn't see it if it were Starlight or Kimiko. After all we only saw the Deep with his pants down, and Starlight throwing up.
wokery ruined the show .. i only watch the Homelander scenes and skip everything else.
did that since season 1 🤣💪
It was always woke it's just more obvious now.
Same
Same. Last season Butcher, Homelander, Maeve, and Soldier Boy carried an otherwise poor season. Then they nerfed Soldier Boy and Maeve and shunted Butcher to a side quest. Homelander is the only interesting character left and he's the villain.
"wokery ruined the show" continues to watch the show.....
Season 4 is definitely not a bomb. But its been the worst season. Happy its ending after season 5. I think its lacking the charm too.
It deserved better.
I really didn't know a whole lot about them going in the season one. But I could definitely do without all that pervert sex stuff.
Season 4 is still fun and awesome. Dunno what all the crying is about. That's how you kill a show, people will cry why it ended.
