But which sparrow is which? What is the sparrow d. Why would you use an e vs e2 and other questions are answered in this video! Also is the f4e has a pulse radar the aim7m and p should not be compatible
@@saffronlynx5580 Overall, pre-DMAS bird isn't exactly a Vietnam-only bird, but can be that with some payload restriction, or can represent both USAF and international post-war service beautifully. DMAS on the other hand, is the more strike optimized bird used by USAF and some others during the 80s and up. Things both have in common: - Slats - AIM-9J and Ps (whether they got L/M seems contentious, I personally don't remember seeing them being mentioned for E in the docs I have) - AIM-7E-2 and F - Self lasing with their respective (old-school) TGPs to drop GBU-12 and GBU-10 LGBs. - AGM-45 Shrike anti-radar missiles (that should be rather adventurous :P) - AGM-65 Mavericks, I believe up to D, but perhaps it'll be up to D for DMAS bird. Fairly sure I did see Ds being mentioned for pre DMAS birds too, but been a while I've read the stuff.
i saw the SPARROW 7M in the video from youtubers that got the airplane.. so.... looks like you even the the 7m.. i would suggest getting a 7E x2 and 7E2 x2 use the 7E for longer range, use the 7E2 for short range dogfights
@@plazma1945 thanks! I probably use only for longer range then becouse aim 9 are for dogfight, arent sparrows able to be shot at same distance? That's what i heard and that's why i through E2 Has same range but its more manuvrable
I know that in the Apache, when you fly as a pilot, you can have George look for targets. Is it possible for a pilot to shoot at a target himself with 30mm cannon once George finds the target ? Thanks PS I don't have this module, but thinking of getting it.
Superb video. Thank you.
👍👍👍👍 Repost and share so others can find it! Glad you liked it. Check out the one I have on the sidewinder missiles too
Well, we got the M. Any thoughts on this now? Might just be the improved range that benefits us?
Indeed the improved range Esp for high altitude intercepts against enemy jets. But still try to get a little below the enemies to. Help your radar
Thanks Plazma, great video.
Thank you good sir. I even snuck in the fox3 logo on there
That was a good presentation...
they've already said in the manual the following versions of the sparrow will be available: AIM-7E, E2, F and M

@@plazma1945 The DMAS Phantom should be able to carry the M and P because the manual from Heatblur says the phantom can carry them
@@saffronlynx5580 are we getting dmas tho
@@plazma1945 Yes, that's like a big thing that Heatblur announced

Fox 3 users: "What the F*** is this piece of garbage."

I think jester will just be a radar operator like in the tomcat and you as a pilot still have the launch control
Aim7 was truly best Sparrow on F4.
Ahh but which one 7e 7e2 7f
