The bolt is not faulty. You need to have both carbon lips on the outside of the metal. Not the metal in between it.

If you read the other comments you’ll see that I already amended this & the issue was addressed some time ago.
To be fair the installation video I followed was incorrect in this regard (you generally can only work on the information available at the time,) but I figured it out and at about the same time that it was becoming obvious to me, it was also pointed out by someone in the comments too with the solution exactly as you have described.

Sound very meaty and nice improvement. 700cc?
It is Gaz, 700 for cash it’s just shy of that at 689cc.
The sound is loads better, it’s over 4kg lighter too.
Just need that ECU remap now to get the maximum benefit out of it. ✊🏍️💨🤪
hello! i think the carbon bracket is installed incorrectly.the metal bracket should not be in between.
@@user-uw8pc1tl6u thanks. The build video I watched showed it installed this way. But I had the same thought as you and have since moved both ends of the loop outboard of the bracket.
This creates slightly more room for the bolt.
It’s still very tight, but it does fit now.
