15 years ago, I built a 6 foot pond and waterfall which looks amazing (actually better than ever) and has become an important watering hole for wildlife.
All day long, birds, squirrels, chipmunks, woodchucks and other wildlife come to drink from the pond and every summer we probably have 20 frogs. Also, as the presenter stated, kids are crazy about the pond.
I am now contemplating a slightly larger pond and I was very impressed with the knowledge and clarity of the presenter. In particular, his tips regarding the shelves and placement of stones are spot on. Well done!
Having built a pond, I would say this is a very doable project especially with the great advice through this series of videos. I would also say that once having a pond, I couldn’t imagine having a backyard without one. If you build a pond, you won’t be disappointed.

Hey, can I use the signature series 2500 Biofalls filter , signature series 200 pond skimmer , aqua-surge 3000 pump for a 10(w) x 12(L) x 2(D) pond ? Would having a smaller skimmer make the waterfall less powerful? Also will this pump be sufficient in creating a nice flow ? Thanks ! Great pond

It will work, you just need to have 1.5" or 2" tubing.

California Aqua Pros is there any performance difference between 1.5" vs 2" tubing ? I have 1.5 kink free tubing but it looks small compared to my 2500 biofalls. If I go with 2" tubing would I have better water flow ?

@@raqeebali2442 depends what pump size you have, over 2000gph use 2”, actually kink free pipe is my least recommend it pipe, we stopped installing it many many years ago

Jorge Castellanos I have the 3000 aqua surge pump from aquascapes. I'll take ur advice and go with the 2" in pipe. Why is the 1.5" kink free pipe bad ?
