~ 15:15 There's no loop of shame anymore. It seems to me that it's much faster (given Supercruise Assist and SCO) to loop around the target point at high speed, fly near to gravity wells to quickly brake and always drop at the target directly facing the mailslot (if it's a starport). I can pretty consistently drop at 0.1c+ at normal POIs (starports etc) and 5c or more at deep space POIs (e.g. signal sources). I'm operating in Archon space now, and one of the border fortified systems has a gas giant with a convenient starport near it. I loop around the gas giant at very high speed, then once again around the moon that the station orbits, and smack into the mailslot. Perfection.
thnks for the videos dude, looking forward fore more, specially to make the most amount of merits with the new system, currently stocking up the carrier with soontill relics thanks to your other video to then sell them at the furthest system under acquiring, but ngl its taking forever because of the limited stock
I pledged to LYR yesterday, and the 5 initial tasks were exactly the same as yours. As they are a mix of activities, I think that the first five will be the same for all powers, to show what can be done to earn merits.
I have found out that if you launch just one limpet, open cargo scoop, then launch the next collectors after the first limpet has grabbed the first cargo; they will all enter and return in a timely manner.
Ran into the same issue with collector limpets yesterday. And also the manual scooping target reticule was covered by the "collected" message text so it was difficult to see the item i was trying to scoop
I had the target reticule bug today too. The fix I found is to un-target the item, close and open the cargo hatch, then re-target the item. Seemed to work every time to clear the message for me.
Hello, I have a concern regarding PP2 and the merits. If I don't complete the weekly assignments, won't I progress in the levels? Even if I manage to earn a lot of merits?
First week yes... after that we don't know yet.. I HOPE we don't have to do 5 every week just to level up... but even if we do you CAN turn in more merits... it just won't add rank but it will show the merrits and once you do the 5 missions it will rank up all the merrits you got including before doing the 5.

@@Darkcyde13 yup all same for everyone.
So if you manually pick them up you will notice the cargo collected message stays up for ages and stops you picking another one up.

@@CmdrGamagosk you mean in a mandalay picking up escape pods? Because in every other ship they work fine with no issues.

@@Darkcyde13 Thanks!
Same for me with manual collection of any of the items
I would use manual scooping if limpets are broken/bugged...
I couldn't load escape pods manually... minerals and other things yes, but not escape pods... may be some ships can and others cant?
Its not the limpets its the actual cargo hatch that's bugged which is why the limpets cant bring them in
