Who's ready for an India series??? Also, join me in Thailand in July! Only 10 spots available and they will go fast! Hope to see you there! ❤ www.labombonadiving.com/travel-with-chris
Karnataka is one of India’s wealthiest state with good standards of living and highly educated people. Modi took a beating in Karnataka and lost! Let this set precedent. We need the #Karnataka model to spread across #India! It’s time to wake up and work hard!
India have stepped up their cyber security measures to curb the recent rise in terrorism. I tried to get a sim card as a foreigner but I had to provide 2 local references to get one 😂😂
Chennai is one of the nicest cities in India and the people there are just great. Anyway greetings from Malaysia :) I don't think the west-coast/east-coast comparison is accurate, In South India or Chennai, they don't look down on North Indians or foreigners unlike in Delhi where they do look down on South Indians and tourists. This is what I find travelling in India as a Malaysian of Indian (Kerala) origin.
@@thebrokenconcept4526 I am not sure about your expertise on Pakistanis nor am I one. Or maybe you don't like facts because some facts sure tend to hurt.
I'm from north india...I study here in chennai... honestly the people here are very kind and helpful throughout my days...I'm really thankful to chennai people ..love u guys as always...thank you chennai..the best place fr ❤

Chennai is one of the safest places in India for women! Like waaaaaay better than Delhi. If you had travelled to Chennai with your gf, i can guarantee you would have had no issues whatsoever Anywhere above Mumbai (even Mumbai sometimes) is usually considered unsafe for women
Thanks for supporting my local Jamaican people.I love what you do because you keep the poor family kids in school. I wish a lot of people would do what you do. God bless you.
Awesome! Good to see that you explored something in Chennai, southern part of India. Tamil Nadu is the unique state in India unlike other states. We don’t speak Hindi as that is not related to us and we speak Tamil and English. Chennai, there are a lot places to explore, maybe will watch your other videos and comment! Keep going bro 👊🏻
Wishing you the very best, Chris! I hope you experience lots of joy during your trip to India and in your future travels. Sending lots of love from Sri Lanka. You are a truly humble and down-to-earth person. Enjoy your journey!
Your positive spirit should be imbibed by other travelers. As soon as you landed in Chennai you saw the positive things, admiring what you were seeing. You were cheerful throughout. Even when you encountered a painful experience that you could not buy a SIM card in a jiffy like any other country you put up with it cheerfully. That is a nutty rule that India should change.
Fantastic watching your travels...so many of my bucket list destinations...some I'll probably not get to...but sure appreciate your coverage. Great to get your local perspectives! Excellent! Bruce and Otis
Hey, Airport does have an ATM but its going through a drastic rebuild of terminals so many things have changed and is changing. Where you landed is a terminal thats going to be soon demolished and moved to a recently opened new Terminal. This Terminal will be rebuilt.
You are in a very unique city in India. Another one I would say Kolkata. Both of these places, English is more welcome than Hindi. Chennai speaks Tamil which is one of the oldest existing language on the planet along with Hebrew and Chinese. Other Indian languages are little younger than Tamil. You may find better english knowing people than in your home country in these cities. The way you approach Delhi and Chennai should be different. Its like a different country. Indian states are different so do the cities. Try local vegetarian dishes. Happy journey.
I am surprised to see you back in India Chris. Last time you seemed like you were not having a very good time and left early. Maybe it will be an easier trip this time being you don't have a lovely lady on your arm. Enjoy South India. It is my favorite place in the country.
Ive lived and worked in usa now in Chennai please visit mahabalipuram, Mylapore for local culture and phoenix mall for shopping and don't pay tuk tuk guys upfront it gives them the impression that you're loaded with cash
Regret the inconvenience brother, Indians are used to UPI digital transactions for almost a decade, hence usage of ATMs and maintenance across India has reduced drastically.
Now the time is 1:50 AM here in Tamil Nadu. But I love watching ur videos. Thank u so much for ur arrival here... Blessed to have u... Love u so much... Explore western districts of Tamil Nadu, Thanjavur, Madurai, Kanchipuram, Tiruchirappalli, Kanyakumari, Rameswaram, Kolli hills and so on...
Chennai is different from many things. People, language, culture everything is different.. North Indians are mix of Aryans , Iranians , Arabs etc.... But South India are the indigenous Indians..
Shut up you don't have a Tamil culture. Real tamil culture is not anywhere related to christ. And for North people, are you a historian or some kind of person with infinite knowledge that you are telling that they are a mix of Iran, Arab. When did Arabs come here😂😂?????No Christian opinion here...that's it...
I'm checking off my bucket list through you! ♥️ Thank you brother. Growing up, I had pressure like that in my ears. My doctor had me blowing up balloons with my nose to relieve the pressure. 😂
One thing I really like about Chennai is compare to Mumbai and Delhi, Chennai has less population and traffic is kind of smooth. I wish Chennai to be like this always instead of getting crowded like Mumbai and Delhi
Hey! I highly recommend exploring Ladakh, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim and arunachal pradesh in India as they are among the most stunning destinations in the country. Moreover, the Andaman Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands have one of the best beaches in Asia, including the breathtaking Radhanagar Beach. And if you're looking for an incredible experience, the road trip from Manali to Leh is an absolute must-see

Hi Chis, Thank you for coming to my little country 🇱🇰 and promoting my country to the world. Be careful and come back. Wish you all the best for your future & your UA-cam journey.

Chennai is one of those most fascinating cities I've ever been in, let alone Tamil Nadu in general! At 0:47 - 0:48: 600 rupee is like 6 or 7 US dollars! Man! What you'd pay $20 to $25 dollars for at an Indian restaurant in the US, you'd pay about 400 rupee (4 or 5 US dollars) for in Tamil Nadu. And of course, it's even better in Tamil Nadu. Not that the Indian restaurants in the US are particularly not good. In my experience, the overall food quality is better in India. However, I can't say that there's much of a scene for seafood, notwithstanding that India is virtually surrounded by water. And it may, or may not be easy to find certain food products, depending where you are. For instance, I could hardly find and parsley and anchovies. I think I would have had better luck with finding Cocaine at a church! And it's very easy to get around for those who don't eat pork and red meat. And that includes vegetarians and even vegans. One thing I'd noticed right away, upon my first trip to India ((First trip was in March, 2023, with a follow up trip on December, 2023) was that "if you come from the US, or otherwise what's know as a "first world society", your systems of values may be challenged, particularly with the policies, revolving around sanitation and traffic; policies that I found India to be notably flexible with. However, on the contrary, people are generally clean and conscious. I must admit that I, myself, benefited from the extremely traffic regulations in India, being that I have no driver's license. 😁😇
