Superb my brother ...💖💫🇱🇰
Chris, the way you interact with people in the countries you visit is second to none!
Thank you for the kind words! I'm so glad you enjoy it!
Mastered virtue signaling with gifts and money for his "show"
@@M.R.T.V.VideosLet bro do what ever he wants 😂
@@M.R.T.V.Videos Most of the time he doesn't even understand what he is told('boost children's immune system'!), keeps loitering around a block or two until he gets hungry again while he sweats uncontrollably! That's why it is fun watching these videos😅
Chris...Hello...I live in suburban Chennai. We love watching your videos, Brother. You are a natural, sweet, sharp yet so gentle and genuinely kind to all you meet. You have this aura of goodness and genuineness which makes your videos a joy to watch. Keep sharing your travel videos. Love your gentle voice, the fist pumps, the way you enjoy your new experiences. It's childlike and you seem to really enjoy interacting with people. ❤ 🎉
Thanks so much for the kind words! Means a lot, I loved the time spent in your city!
I am a Sikh, UK born and bred but you're correct, Sikhs originate from North India, mainly the Punjab region. The reason book uncle turned down your offer to buy him one is probably because he is Muslim. Muslims and Sikhs have almost alternate religious views. Sikhism itself was partly born out of rebellion towards Mughal rulers and laws. Great vids and you should definitely go check out Punjab for the full Sikh experience. Hospitality is second to none and many Sikhs still hold a strong relationship with Britain so you'll definitely spot some nuances.
Also, the steel bangle is actually a weapon too, historically. They would have been a lot larger and almost wrapped around the arm like a shield. Although that would look badass probably not too practical haha
Thanks so much for all that information!
hmm the knife you have is for protection of overs I think , that need help. ???
@@GsCConcrete123 that's correct. Sikhs are known as a warrior/protector religion. We stand up and defend those who aren't able to defend themselves. I'm not a practicing Sikh so I don't carry a sword (kirpan) but even most who do only carry a very small decorative one which is blunt or just a symbolic necklace etc. Within Sikhism we also have what are known as Nihang Sikhs. They learn the martial arts which our gurus and ancestors used. They are very strict Sikhs whereas I'm just Sikh by birth. I smoke, drink, eat meat and all that stuff. Technically Sikh's shouldn't eat meat but if they do we believe the life you take should be on your hands. Similar reason to why we don't eat Halal meat, we don't believe in taking a life in God's name. Again, doesn't stop me... I love my shwarmas too much haha
@@Travelwithchris bet. You could easily pass as a Punjabi so the steel bangle suits you bro
Love Sikhism ❤🙏🙏❤👳♂️👳♂️❤
btw that you can walk freely in India today is thanks to Guru Gobind Singh Jio. (the tenth god of sikhs) he sacrificed his whole family to make India a free country and liberated from muguls over 350 years ago :) on Google you can read a lot about it when you are on the plane 🙏❤😉🤗
Hey Chris, thanks for supporting our local brothers and sisters. I am from Tamil Nadu. Happy to see you enjoying Chennai.
Thank you so much 😊

The vendor following you for the peacock fan is definitely from North.
I won't say people from chennai are completely nice. But majority are not like the northern ones.
Yup ..even im from Delhi I can say chennai people are really honest and good to me...had a great experience in chennai 🙌♥️
This might be my favorite city on these travel series!

It reduces your blood pressure, soothes your nerves, and instills a sense of tranquility and heightened awareness in your nervous system, resulting in positive energy. Hindu individuals adorn it during special occasions, and yoga instructors also wear it to cultivate serenity and a profound sense of calmness

Hi Chirs, Welcome to Chennai, hope you are having a good time. Its summer here and that's why you see less foreigners here. Scorching heat. One place I would recommend is "Mahabalipuram" to see ancient sculptures. Please do visit. Safe travel.
Thanks so much for the recommendation! I'll have to catch it next time! 🙏🏻🇮🇳
DW about your vocabulary Chris, literally every travel vlogger I watch has their words and phrases, everyone is the same and it makes us unique. I have favorite words and phrases myself and to be honest your the words you told me people herd you say a lot everyone says those a lot and I didn't even notice. They're are probably not seriously criticizing you. I rather you not focus on what people think because you got yourself as you are to this many subscribers. Thank you for the great content.
You know what , you know what, you know what, you're right.

Lovely people. Especially, the lady selling Kappu. They are gypsies used to sell small ornaments, hair cliff and wooden combs etc for their living. Nowadays they push themselves to get education and grow in the society.
17:29 , They’re not potatoes. It’s a fruit called sappotta in Tamil. Sapodilla in English.😊

who are the Tamil speaking people belonged to the state of Tamilnadu by birth.
Chris, I hope you visit the Middle East, Lebanon🇱🇧❤
Yes that will happen this year! 🙏🏻
Another good video man.
Also, in TN, in many places, plastic bags are banned. So many will not have carry bags. Some may but not all.
LOVE THE india vlogs..Looking forward to the HK vlogs...I always wondered about the Indian head bobble ..The head bobble, head wobble, or Indian head shake refers to a common gesture found in South Asian cultures, most notably in India. The motion usually consists of a side-to-side tilting of the head in arcs along the coronal plane.[1] A form of nonverbal communication, it may mean yes, good, maybe, ok, or I understand, depending on the context
Thanks so much! I look forward to sharing the HK series! I only filmed a few videos in India, as I was only around for a week! However, I got some great ones on the way! Thanks for the head wobble explanation 🙏🏻💪🏻
@Travelwithchris Hopefully do another vid with Jimmy he seems MIA lately ..still love that vid of you guys hiking in MA NH

22:02. Angriest face ever seen on planet Earth. 😂😂 Thought she sells those coconuts just to smash them in the face of customers haha, or maybe she was just posing at her worst for the camera 😂 Lucky you gifted her with a peacock feather to ward off her *evil eye* 😂
😂😂😂
So true! I saw that and was like let me cheer her up lol
Because of sultriness and hot weather. It is summer time here. Also, did you notice she is shy and biting her tung gently when receiving the fan.
What a thorough visit to Chennai city! Ok, well that was a half a mile stroll along a street. Wow! That's a lot of exercise, Chris! Btw, you have a good eye for women's things. Like all the things you bought were for ladies! But you like to wear them, as well. Gangsta😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you for the info

The Narikuravars are a semi-nomadic community indigenous to the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. They are known as the "bead people" due to their exceptional beadmaking skills.
I always love to watch market hunt video 👍👍👍
I'm so glad you enjoy them, as I love filming them!
Keep up the great content Bro Chris
A $10 budget in the top shopping district, T. Nagar, of Chennai? Cool objective. Your best purchase was the little bracelets from the lady. If I am not mistaken, she is probably from a nomad group of people who make a living selling such handmade jewelry items. Special. You can blow $10,000 if you went into one of those shops. Hope you got time to walk around the busy Usman road very close by to see the shopping spree and feel the vibrancy of the place. Fun watching you enjoy the place. You showed the right spirit to enjoy and experience India. You went with the flow, cheerfully interacting with people and immersing yourself in the novelties that were abound.
13:15 fan of peacocks feathers😂😂 it's illegal right 😅
It was a nice video to watch. You interacted with vendors so well. And bargained with them reasonably. Well, you so generously gifted the fan made of peacock feather to one vendor which you had purchased from another vendor.
Brother you can bargain in India anywhere. We would love to see Mc Donald's review
He is not in India anymore 😔
Chris, the sikh community mainly come from Punjab in the North of India, which is split with Pakistan.. More specifically, Jalandhar and Amritsar.👍
