They look so peaceful and calm when being filmed without them noticing.
Most nature documentarys film them after they are baited in with chum, only showing them hectic and furoucious looking.

@hatzistu Exactly, these people are crazy. Sharks don't attack people. There are misidentification and curious test bites rarely, but it's accidental. Great whites are pretty much big puppy dogs of the sea and Malibu artist has proven it. There has never been a case of a great white or any shark just scoping out a human, attacking that human and then predating that human. Unfortunately, a lot of people are bite from a mistake but then they pass away because the shark has such a powerful bite. If you are in decently clear water and it's easy to tell you're not a seal you will never be accidentally bitten. Ocean Ramsey has shown that and you can even get up close and pet huge Great White sharks. Zero danger if the water is clear.

Go read about the poor unfortunate soul who was violently killed by one of these sharks a couple of days ago. It's gruesome and disgusting. Sharks are portrayed as monsters because they are monsters. At least we have Orcas out there to trim down the shark population. One human life is worth more than every single great white shark on the planet.

Yeah I agree 100% with you. it’s nice to not see those monsters on film killing everything in sight for once. Hard to get footage of them without them attacking surfers and other beach goers. Although they did a good job, they still couldn’t show them not ripping apart that little stingray and attacking another shark. What freaking terrorizing monsters these things are. Always attacking and ripping things apart, even kelp or birds. Straight psycopaths. I think we all agree and support shark fishing. Especially great whites. Makes me feel safer that there are less monsters terrorizing everything out there.

My husband agrees- you're not only doing a service to the science and education of sharks, you're helping a young boy with social difficulties learn that he can interact with his world in a different way. He put his Christmas money away to start saving for a drone. Hes a little scientist himself. He said, "mommy, the person (you) is interacting without having to worry about all the social ques I have a hard time understanding. Maybe I can do something like this!" My heart melted and right now, Im doing my best not to cry . It never crossed my mind that your drone videos of sharks could positively impact a kid so much.

In early November, I was swimming with a friend about 300 meters offshore at Del Mar, California. A young white shark bumped my friend and then bit her in the thigh. The bite was not life threatening, but the puncture wounds were deep (up to 4 cm) and a couple were quite close to her femoral artery - it could have easily been much worse.
I appreciate your excellent videos; I had watched them before this encounter, and I continue to do so. By showing these videos you show the whole picture - sharks in their environment. Your videos help destigmatize the white shark from its image of simply one of viciousness and horror. This is good. These sharks are an important part of healthy oceans, and they need to be respected as such.
With regard to your videos of young white sharks near humans in the water, these help dispel the myth that sharks will invariably attack, and again help put this shark in a more appropriate context. However, we need to be aware that white sharks don’t have to be in attack mode to be dangerous to humans in the water.
We don’t know why we were apparently ambushed and my swim buddy was bitten, but it may not have been due to aggressive behavior. It could have been defensive behavior (perhaps we were just too close - the water was murky, so we didn’t see the shark until it made its presence known). Or it could have been curiosity: many animals, especially young animals, investigate their surroundings by using their mouth; even children do this, and yet they are equipped with sensitive hands. In some of your videos, as you have noted, it appears that a white shark might just have been checking something out (such as floating trash) - with a bite.
