Love it 😊 And sooo keen for the POC double feature! Not enough people do it, and when Jinjer really shine in their lives, it’s a shame. I’ll chuck a suggestion for you, “Call Me A Symbol”, both OMV and Vlad’s playthrough. It’s absolutely wild. 🤘🏻
I am so happy I was able to meet the band in October. such amazing musicians and just kind people. Tati is nearing 40 and her voice has just become even more beautiful and powerful.
What a masterpiece! It's as if Gwen Stefani, Lamb of God, and Opeth got together and composed a song, aye? Amazing! Great reaction as always, thank you!
for me, this is yet another one where Vlad lowkey steals the show -- far and away my favorite drummer of the current era. and this is going to be another one that i'm going to be dissecting for quite a while -- Tati has taken her lyricism to another level with this album (with my only nitpick being that some of it is a little _too_ prose-y sometimes ... but i figure that if that's my only nitpick, it's gotta be pretty good)
Ya, she's not big on rigid rhyme schemes...or rhymes, for the most part. But it kind of fits with the musical sensibility of the band, since so many of their compositions have entirely unconventional structures.
