In this video we take a look at Star Citizen's Misc Hull C.
A ship that is the undisputed king of cargo hauling until its bigger brother arrive.
The ship itself is very cool especially internally i find the ships interior to be superb, However since launch the Hull C has had a been very frustrating to use as it and its game mechanics were riddled with bugs. Hopefully these get ironed out sooner rather than later as this ship is very good at making money.
Often called the most common ship in the galaxy, the Hull C is the most-produced of the range and is considered by many to be the most versatile. Intended to hit the ‘sweet spot’ between the smaller single-person transports and the massive superfreighters that make up the rest of the range, the Hull C offers the expansive modularity of the larger ships while still retaining a modicum of the maneuverability allowed the low end of the range.

Star Citizen's Misc Hull C. This ship is fantastic to be in and around, the undisputed king of cargo hauling ( until its bigger brother's show up ) I really enjoy this ship however the amount of issues ive had with bugs, has tainted my time with it. That being said it is a impressive vessel and i look foward to using it when its fully operational. BUT what do you guys think of Star Citizen's Hull C? As always let me know down below!!
A Hotfix just released fixing many of the issues with the Hull-C. Hopefully she will be more reliable this go. Great video. I look forward to an update with this ship!
Im desperate to try it, becuase when it works its great! o7
Refreshing video again. Good job as always, cheers!
@@Fractal379 thanks buddy
I pledged this ship today and ive been having a fairly decent time with it
I’ve been doing box missions in the Hull C! I like getting to do slow precise and needlessly cumbersome maneuvers haha
Sounds challenging ha ha ha
10:25 Short answer, No. The shields do not cover cargo. Same as the Kraken and its open decks.
@@AlbandAquino thankyou. I appreciate it.
i upgraded my Hull-C to a Hull-D. more cargo, more friends, more profits.
I figured I'd pretty easily be able to use the Hull C when the game ones out to grind for the D and the E, and I think the C will have a lot more options for it than those two.
nice video like always!!
thanks buddy
This ship will be a hallmark of Star Citizen. Just remember if you want to buy the Hull C that during events when the Hull D is available you can get it for $50 more. Since the Hull D isn’t available, you get it at a better price with a Hull C loaner.
@donnys2965 good shout donnys2965 thanks o7
I was thinking that the hull C might be able to load and unload planet side if you do some pre planning. you would need at least one other ship/escort with you. but I think if you just hover over a planetary pad with the spindle extended. Your escort lands, and activate the cargo elevator. they could then tractor cargo out of the elevator, and use you'd the Hull C's tractor beams to load the Spindle. You might only be able to load the bottom spindle but even then thats like 1k SCU. plus I would assume you can place cargo on the side and move it to the upper spindle from the top tractor beams. Perhaps with a bucket brigade sort of setup of operators. it does have VTOLs so can presumably hover for long time. sitting face up and hovering with the main engines might also work. I haven't tested any of this but it feels viable.
Thats exactly the kind of thinking i appreciate! good idea! sure it would be tricky, but do- able for sure. Maybe the tractor argo would be perfect for that role.
@@PIN-o7 Once this dang ship (and the rest of the game) works smoothly I'd love to test it. though I'd prob just use an escort fighter or something, double up roles than needing an argo that can't go anywhere. 315p maybe, it has a tractor
@@wingren13 yep 315 would be great, there will much to learn when everything comes together. Lots of experimenting and fails lol
CIG fundamentally don’t understand how to place or design turrets. Modern attack helicopters have solved this-it’s just chin mounts.
Spinal mounts have poor viewing angles and worse coverage, they only vaguely made sense on 3DOF bombers in WW2, and honestly even then they largely didn’t work.
If they absolutely must have the WW2 vibe, literally all turrets should be a remote turret pair with one turret on each hemisphere of the ship, controlled by a single remote seat with a robust viewing angle (via hull camera like our 3rd person).
Vanguard, Corsair, Hull A-E, Scorpius, 890J…. Literally all of them have unusable turrets.
I wish they’d just… do literally anything to improve turrets. We will never have routine multicrew if being a crew member is miserable, and all turrets are currently miserable.
Better Caul Haul!
@johnokean8216 I would but he's with Saul!
I wonder if people even grasp the amount of cargo the D and E have. Its insane. I can not see those ships being able to be loaded within 2 hours or even 4. That is how much they can take.
@@machoalright yep they are monsters.
Hull e should take at least a week to load
Can you buy it in game ?
Yes 15 million AUEC or so
