I prefer a balcony. We are booked on a Disney staycation cruise for later this month, we booked an ocean view as we were only onboard for three days but we’re very happy to be upgraded to a balcony room. I think I like having a window as I really struggle to wake up if I’m in the dark. Your stateroom looked well comfortable. I’ve cruised on P&O Aurora, she’s a lovely ship too. We had a bath on board Aurora! It was pink 😱
Totally agree, we usually do inside cabins just so we can cruise twice as often 😂 but you never know what time of day it is or what the weather is like. We were very lucky on our first cruise (Aurora) we had a bath too! I could see past the colour scheme because it was so nice having a little luxury 😂 Disney does look fun! Outside cabins are good, but you never know, maybe the upgrade fairies will work their magic! 🤞🏻❤️⚓️
@@CruiseMonkeys totally agree about seeing past the pink colour scheme, I kinda liked the Elvis vibe 🙂and it was so luxurious to have a bath after we’d been in the on deck (outside) pool in Norway at -29 degrees. We are on the QM2 in December if all goes to plan, you can never cruise too much. Stay safe guys x
Your ship and accommodations are gorgeous! My dear British friend and her husband will be on this ship soon. I am so excited for them! I would love to take a cruise on this ship one day. Great tour!
Really enjoyed that tour. We liked the Britannia balcony cabin, it was spacious, even with the added kids beds. Thanks Cruise Monkeys, looking forward to the next one. 💕
Cheers guys for a really informative description of your cabin. We are going on Britannia in October 2022 so was looking for a video like yours to watch and get an idea. Thanks.
Nice balcony cabin & the cabins on P&O are so similar to Princess cabins (the open wardrobe/closet & the floor to ceiling cabinet with the shelves & safe - right near the bathroom door)! Lots of electric sockets (I guess they do a lot of Hoovering - lol)!
Hahaha! Yes lots of sockets! Whilst putting the video together it did make me laugh at how often I mentioned it 🙈 having said that we’ve had cabins with just one or two sockets in the past, a bit of a nightmare when it comes to charging things🙄
@@CruiseMonkeys I was actually going to mention that, but felt guilty that I never reported it… Sorry! 😂 Other than that, the cabin was great… The only other ‘problem’ was the corridor being closed off and having to remember to use the rear stairs to get back to home base! So happy to get back cruising though 🚢 ⚓️
Hahaha! We were exactly the same, we had to prop the shower up with the washing line😂 and totally agree the closed of corridors were a pain, but understandable I guess 🙄❤️⚓️
Always look forward to new content from you guys. OK so about the cards being left in front of the door, prevent somebody else from just using it to enter? Tonic water and…. Gin 😂 A proper cabin shower always has a string! Awesome.
The door has a seal thing on it which would be ripped if someone had been in your room and the envelope would be torn too so I guess you’d know. In fairness your belongings wouldn’t be in the cabin at that point either so it’s not really a biggy I guess? 🤷🏼 The string😂😂 - mentioned in every cabin tour for new cruisers, they’d probably search the ship specifically and not look at anything else or know what to expect -so we treat them all like we’ve never seen one before😂😂😂 As always thanks for watching ❤️ the fun stuff is coming soon 👌🏻
you mentioned that the launderettes are closed due to covid, so can you not use the ironing facility either? We are on Britannia in September, I cannot wait to be cruising again. Keep the vlogs coming guys
Unfortunately you have to pay to get clothes ironed rather than do it yourself- at present, things could change though. There’s more videos of our Britannia cruise on the way 🤞🏻the next one should be up soon!
@@CruiseMonkeys I am just lazy did the Cunard QM to new York was like I was on a fashion parade every night lol was good but finished with that no one wares suits and black tie very rare
@@gavinnaylor1428 oooffft Cunard… very formal! P&O don’t make you wear jackets to be fair, but they are still kind of formal. MSC are a lot more chilled out, but MSC don’t allow you to bring any dink with you, even soft drinks! They do have some very reasonable drinks packages though 👌🏻
Anyone that follows us knows we don't usually go for a balcony cabin, so we were really happy with this one! What cabin type do you prefer?

QM2 👌🏻 a magnificent ship!!
Balcony!
I'm excited for the next episode!
A great room, love the idea of not having doors on the hanging rack. The bathroom is a good size.
Thanks for showing us the room.
Thanks for watching Arthur :)

That is a really cute cabin, I really like that the closet is open. Can't wait to see the ship.

Great to hear it was useful. Have a great cruise!
Ex cruise ship dancer here! Loving your videos as I still love a ship. We can’t wait to get back on a cruise ship again. Keep up the great work. X
That is a nice cabin. The closet area reminds me of the ones on Princess. Nice cozy bathroom, especially the shower--no shower curtain! Great tour.
Very informative as it’s going to be my first time cruising this was great
Glad it was helpful! Have a great first cruise!

Really nice room guys!
It was so nice having a balcony for a change! 👌🏻

Is there a iron that you can use.
Oh fab! Yes, you have laundrettes on each deck that have ironing facilities.

Dress code for dinner hate dressing up lol great videos
Only jeans and a shirt, just smart casual. Only dress up night is in black tie evenings or the new celebration nights. It’s not too bad
Cruise Monkeys great video can't be bothered with dressing up done that got the Micky mouse badge lol

A bottle of alcohol for each guest (18+) you can bring as much tonic water or soft drinks as u like 👍🏻
