- Increase in Tire Temperature and Pressure after a long Drive. Explained the cares to be taken in such situations.
1. Always fill up tires with recommended Air Pressure as per Manufacturer.
2. Always fill up when Tires are in their cool or ambient temperature i.e 24°C to 25°C., or within 2kms of your journey
3.Check your tiers every fortnightly.
4. Fill up with Nitrogen, if possible, which helps in fewer temperature changes
5.Never fil up tires after a long drive or between drives, as the tire is already warmer, the PSI wont be accurate.
6.Take a break between drives, Like you bother for engine cooling, Tire cooling is also very important.
7. Never deflate the tires if you see increase in pressure after few hours of driving, Let them cool down, pore water on tires to cool them and decrease the pressure.

We just finished Bhopal-Jhansi-Kanpur-Ayodhya trip spanning 1700kms. I didnt notice heat cornern as such but i did notice drop in turanja tyre pressure instead of rise. I also noticed poor calibration of pressure meters in few petrol pumps. I kept F33,R32 as specified by Honda.
Can you suggest me if?
1. Have you noticed any mild knocking while reversing the vehicle? I noticed this when fully loaded with all passangers and luggage while reversing on mild slope. Is it normal? I have to notice the same on our family CIAZ in similarly loaded conditions. But what do you think?
2. If the pressure higher than prescribed comes with some better handling/mileage/safety?
Didn't observe any kind of knocking while reversing, ofc didn't test fully loaded. Mostly did drives with max 3 passengers.
Second, tire pressure upto 34-35 if filled up in cool temperature, even if it increases to 40 after a long drive, its not a concern. its normal. But take breaks between few hrs say 2/3 hrs to cool the tires.
Vehicle handling may affect if pressure increases more., it will have less friction, as the center part of the tire tends to bulge out more, and less part of tire tread is in contact with the road, thus chances of skidding.
I never check air pressure in city/when tyres are cold , After 20-30 km of running @80-100kmph I keep 35 psi (recommend by company) in all tyres with my air inflator machine

I always fill with Nitrogen..and its widely available at my place..Filling Nitrogen for past 5 yrs, on my old car too..
Nitogen is good and less effective on temperature changes, but its not that tire temperature won't change., it does.
@@premlshrini yes, you're right 👍 i guess newly launched tata cars have air vents for tyres don't know how much effective they are but yeah good to see those changes.
@@demon-bh7hi Normally, every car manufacturer should provide air vents for cooling of tires too, rather than just engine. But manufacturers of normal mid sized passenger cars are more inclined on engine cooling, but not tires cooling, that's not the case with High-end cars.

Yes, for this reason i opted for JK. You can contact the dealer mentioned in the video, he 'll despatch kits through courier if required, 300 per piece plus courier chrgs applicable.

Definitely Man, I am loving it. Quality, Space, Performance, everything is really smooth. Ofc i am a Honda customer for past 7 yrs, If you want quality over gimmicky features of other brands, Honda is exceptional.

didn't install separately, it reflects in your android auto..
check your phone Settings - Android Auto - Cuatomise apps
i guess you installed the playstore app, play store app wont show in android auto. Jk has separate app, for showing up in android auto.. you must have got the apk file through jk dealer
if i get the tpms from honda can i check the tyre pressure in the mid/infotainment screen?
No, unfortunately Honda TPMS can only be viewed in Honda Connect App, But not on infotainment system.
I posted a video on TPMS, you can contact the dealer, he delivers through courier any where possible. just 300 per piece and nominal courier charges whatever applicable. very transparent.
