Good morning Zakiyya, this standing lamp is really beautiful. Looking at it standing next to the seater, nobody would ever think you have made this, it really is very professional. The beauty of this is there are no fancy dangling pieces it is plain but ever so elegant!! I also loved your suggestion of a table lamp, perhaps it can be a short and stumpy one! My goodness it just shows what we can achieve with patience and perseverance. I know the feeling, I was halfway icing a cake and I could have punched it in the centre, why does that happen to us. Alas, drive on and get the mission accomplished, the results here are amazing. You can enjoy your lamp to the fullest now, thank you for sharing. I had to smile about that electrical cord slipping back down, oh my goodness, what a disaster that would be, then it's fist time!!! No, it's not so bad. It was a gorgeous project. Well done. I loved the Lamp. I am so amazed by your talent. You had such great advice about keeping things close by. That reminds me when I am wrapping presents and some how the tape gets across the room. I have had some great success at Hobby Lobby with the Fabric cutters. I am always super impressed with their knowledge. I have a feeling we will see more Linen projects..
