What I love about ryland is that he can be so motherly and take care of everyone,then he can put his hard hat and work so hard and is not afraid to get dirty..he just makes things happen there lucky to have one another 💚

Here in the Netherlands we have so called care farms. Those are places were mentally and physical handicapped people go to every day as daytime care/ daytime activities. Often they work with animals like alpacas or they take care of the vegetable gardens. It's a great concept for those people.

The more animals the better as their tendency to mind the present is a good influence because anxiety is caused by excessively minding the future. Of course you have to actively interact with them in order to do that.

Yes!! Like warm tones so it's gender neutral with little random alpaca touches. Like alpaca mobile, fluffy rug, alpaca stuffed animal with a boucle rocking chair!! They even have alpaca rockers for babies to play on when they are old enough and I think that would be cute in a corner of the room as decor until the baby can play on it.
Such an amazingly heartwarming video. I was smiling like an idiot for a large portion. It’s so beautiful seeing how happy you two are, especially Ryland.
I just wanted to give you some tips farmed to farmer here. I hope that’s okay!
1) Alpacas should have straw bedding. Straw is similar to hay. Straw is a stalk, that's used as bedding for barnyard animals. Hay-is used as animal feed. Hay is green, straw is yellow and shiny.
2) I’m not sure how cold it gets in your area. But you might want to consider getting a heated waterer, to ensure that the water doesn’t freeze for your babies.
3) you can feed your alpacas your (vegetarian) food left overs! Apple cores, left over veggies, pumpkins from Halloweens, etc. Just look it up if you’re ever not sure! Ours can’t get enough apples 🍎

I don't know why but when Ryland said he has time to properly take care of the girls, I just seen y'all with a little girl one day, helping with the animals, with a braid in her hair, lil rubber boots, and little bucket helping y'all. Just thought I'd share the little moment I seen 🙏

Just an fyi, people love seeing vlogs of people just doing daily chores, like taking care of your alpacas. So don't ever feel like you have too much to do, you can literally vlog whatever you're doing. It's interesting to watch and I'm sure it will be very entertaining lol. I started watching Acre Homestead, she cooks and gardens and takes care of chickens. And I relate to her since she is young and just doing her best, so I am just addicted to her channel lol. She is also expecting her first baby! :)
I gotta say this perhaps one of the best videos Ryland has ever made. I love how loving he is to his furry family. He seems geninuely interested in caring for them and I can't wait to see more and more about the apalacas. Please post more Ryland! Also I love how loving both Shane and Ryland are to them, they are going to be amazing parents for sure!

I can’t believe how expressive their faces are. The ear action is adorable. The names are en pointe. The Alpacas are blessed to have people caring for them who GET them. I can’t wait to see future baby toddling after them and loving it.

Y'all take such good care of your animals, I know people were giving y'all a hard time about getting the alpacas, but watching y'all bond with animals makes me so happy- it's very clear you both have a love for your animals. It's a nice change in pace in a mostly negative space.

Congrats! My parents 5 alpacas have been such an easy, fun little group of family members to have. As long as you find a good vet, and a good shearer (to shear off their fur, trim hooves, trim teeth) you’re set. The only annoying part is picking up poop, and if they fight with each other sometimes (boys will be boys🙄) but other than that, they are a breeze to care for, and will bond with you over time. Oh and they love treats lmao.
Alpacas are everything! I took my 2,9 year old to a farm last weekend and I couldn’t even explain in words how happy and peaceful alpacas make you feel when you feed them and pet them. So happy for you guys!
