Layathal said that when he went to visit Yarris he could “barely fine a cubic inch of him” which is exatly what he needs to clone someone.
@@onecoolboy98 But this machine seems to be flawed when it comes to recombining genetic material. Yaris now has a ginger beard and a strange hairline and is not as pale as he was. Or perhaps part of the sample of genetic material was missing and the missing genes had to be replaced by some random peasant DNA.🤔

Yarris is my favorite character. And he's not a villain. He was an antagonist, but an antagonist does not equal a villain.

The best type of opposition for a mature group of players is the non-evil antagonist. But if you are playing with a bunch of murder-hobos none of it matters.

Glad Survey sorted out his working title. Ah, Yarris. You were the best of them. Had things not gone as they did, I feel like Yarris could have yet brought much to the table.
I really felt bad for Yarris. Poor guy lost to a bunch of largely incompetent knuckleheads with the attention span and emotional maturity of a pack of eight year olds.
Yarris is my favorite villian in this series, that fight never fails to bring me to tears, it's so absurd

To be fair I'm more partial to Sir Vey Questions Adventurers on their Experiences as Adventurers. It just rolls off the tongue way better than Between Two Turns. I haven't even seen him turn once

I am so glad Survey is back. Great character to start with too. I re-watched the Yaris Goldhorn arc like 4 times when the crew got to the Elven Islands trying to understand his connection there. But I didn't manage to put his motivations together. Considering how much benefit BATD gave him, and how guilty BATD felt when they met Laethil's other servant. This really cleared him up, and hopefully will help latecomers to the campaign get a better idea of the lore of Azerim.
Rob talking with himself for 5-6 minutes is so funny.
I would have loved to see Rob sitting on one side, speaking his text and the changing costume, to sit across and speaking his text again. 😂
Almost! I had to film all 5 scripts as Sir Vey, then switch and film all the responses, trying to remember my eyeline and pacing and tone for each from 5 scripts before!
Sir Vey wearing basic modern sneakers is the small detail that makes this especially hilarious.

I think the gang should've persuaded him that the plan was never going to work. If Laethil was already trying to kill him, then capturing Baradun and taking him back only brings 2 people back to him that he can conveniently eliminate.

I've been watching Between Two Turns since way back as a wee lil thing, my mum and me sitting in front of the old CRT telly on a Thursday night with a roll of biccies waiting to see who Sir Vey would be interviewing that week. I'm so glad the show is still running, and Sir Vey's timeless good looks and wit still sharp as ever. Can't wait to see who he'll be zapping into his pocket universe of cheesy light jazz next week.
To admit though the fact that Baradun is 30, 50, and 70 years old at the same time makes perfect sense given the videogame structure of the world. The fact that starting game Baradun exists along with 3rd expansion end game Baradun.

I actually like the sort of hazy idea of time within it, due to it being a videogame, so you get some artifacts like Immortal dead dragons still being alive.

Of all or Rob's characters, that he does incredibly well by the way (it's crazy how he can feel completely different just by his acting), Yarris definitely changes the most based on beard/no beard Rob

Awesome! My favorite character (Yarris Goldhorn) in the chair of Sir Vey. I realy do hope Yarris comes back, he is bad-ass and, indeed, has to show a lot of his skills yet. Also, his rage was awesome, when he yelled (at the table) and pointed at Adam/Baradun, that he was the ticket back. That loss of control in a villain is always fun. ^^
Good thing his buddy Leathil found a cubic inch of his remains...
after all Leathil will want another 'fall guy' for the next phases of the story.

That was a fun fight that I've recently watched again.
I wonder why Yarris didn't join BATD side considering Laethil already betrayed him and BATD kept giving him second chances. I mean there would have been a good chance Laethil would have betrayed him again or otherway.
True, but he probably thought Baradun was in a weaker position.
It’s a rare case when a hero wanted to solve everything in the world, but it didn’t work out. in fact, it seems that almost every way to solve something peacefully ultimately leads to the fact that the group turns out worse, for example, with the last witch everything was decided peacefully, but in the end it turned out that it would have been better to kill and remove the spell from Leetil.
It wasn't resolved peacefully, instead they got different fight from the DM.
Funny thing that I once seen Yarris Goldhorn in the comments and he said that he is follower of Sir Vey now. I was hoping to see his comment again under that video.
