I'd imagine it's a respect thing. Sir Vey has the power to, but wouldn't because Dave has the power to as well. Sir Vey wouldn't want to come off as making Dave look incompetent or demeaning him in any way.

If you put together this and the fact that Dave volunteered to be interviewed by Sir Vey, suggesting that Dave is aware of "Between two turns", unlike I'd say most other guests, this may suggest that Sir Vey, the show and Dave exist in the same plane of existence or in different, yet somehow connected, planes.
This is an interview with a tentacle, and yet I am hooked. Ser Vey may be my favourite Rob character of all. But Dave seems pretty decent for a Dark Lord bent on bringing horror and death to all we know and hold dear.
If Rob ever needs more work he should just do this as a D&D Donahue/Jerry Springer type talk show... Just related 2 hour segment Blocks like a party who needs mediation on why exactly they saved/slew a goblin orphanage followed by a maury type show/episode on who exactly is the father of the goblins followed by a goblin priest s*x scandal episode... Just weird shit like that which would break a party/session to actually game out.
Rob, you are definitely the GOAT. That episode where all the dark lords were introduced is one of my favorite episodes. You are so good at laying out the story and making so epic.

But woth Dave being a literal Dark Lord and god in his own right, its like two peers meeting for a nice chat. 😂

So... Does Dave do all of the PR for the dark lords? Is that why he is given such a memorable name?! Seems like a hype-not-man for everything the dark lords have been working on.
And so, the question of the name remains. I choose to belive the real name of "dave" is just so incomprehensible that when pronounced, your brain just defaults to hearing "dave", cause it'll drive you insane and open your mind to be invaded and taken, and then you'll be use to open a portal to the dark lord's realm and their true form will arise, so you just hear "dave" cause its funny to your little mortal brain. Or you know, it was a joke and he's the bullied one of the dark lords
I love this mini series and anything with DnD and Rob specifically. I know the numbers don't compare YET to your other content but just give it a bit, this stuff is gold and it makes me wish I could game/hang with you guys in the amazing world you're building.
