I own a 2001 Z28 Red Convertible...Has 130,000 miles, does not leak or burn oil...Still showroom new running...Outstanding value...
not too bad mileage, i've put up to 80,000 on em and still never had any problems, 37,000 miles not much different than 3000 miles, if you take care of it. beautiful ride!!
Cheap aftermarket headlights, Corvette replica wheels and no SS spoiler.
I've got a 02 z28. It is awesome!
Is that an SS clone? Spoiler is wrong and no head rest anniversary stitching. (I know this was in 2011 but I just saw this today.)
Not an SS and not a 35thLE... but it's a nice car.
The SS has another rear spoiler and the the 35thLE has the stitches on the seats and different wheels...
Verry NICE car ! I drive a 1997 Camaro !
awesome! whats done to yours?
@@Flemingsclassics well let me tell you how i got my Camaro !
I am from România, and for as long as i know i wanted a muscle car ! I like all of them, Dodge, Ford, but i had something about or for the Camaro more special ! To bring a Camaro in România from America it is pretty expensive ! So, were can you get one ? Germany of course ! They have alot of these in good condition some quite brand new, and have good prices ! But the funny thing is that a romanian man, from the next city were i live, he lived in California many years, and when he camed home, he brouth his Camaro, that was in 2004 ! 3 months ago i bought the car from a friend of the romanian-american guy because he bought it first, he drove it only 100 km and then he put the car for 2 years in a garden.
So i bought and got the Camaro home, change a bad coil with a new one, new sparg plugs, new engine oil, some transmission oil, new winter tires because the season is allready bigining heare. I need a new dashboard it is cracked from sun heat. Other then that maybe next year new paint job, paint the wheels, and make it look like new. I had to change the windsheild to, got a new one from Germany ofcourse ! The old one was all cracked. The car has a minor accident and it was hit in the right side in the back above the spoiler, they did some repair to it but no to pro because you can see what was done to the car if you look close !
What is special about it, is that this Camaro is the 30th anniverasry edition, it's the 3.8 V6, 203 hp, automatic 4 speed, the RS. BUT IT IS THE ONLY MODEL FROM 1997 30 TH ANNIVERASRY EDITION IN ROMÂNIA !!!
I wish it was the 5.7 LT1 V8 but even so the car it is FUN to drive. I put a straight pipe on it, and SOUNDS AWESOME !!! Those guys do have a 5.7 model, year 99 or 2000 i think, not sure, but the engine doesn 't start, they keept the car for drag racing, they sayd it is moddified to 500 HP ! But has and no papers ! So i thought maybe i buy that Camaro too, make the engine work and put it in my camaro 💪🤠 ! That is kind of complicated and cost alot of money too 😁. Or just buy a 350 ci crate engine from America when i will afford that.
Well this is the story of my Camaro !
A question - do you know were can i get a supercharger that works for this engine ? I mean until i have the money to buy a new engine and transmission, i whould like to give this one some more boost ! The engine only has 73.000 miles on it !
You can chek it out on my channel, vor some funny clips with the car! I will try to make a video about it like you do with your cars and upload the video !
@@athosndl Wow! whats a story! glad you are enjoying it!
great looking car !
Dustin my friend don't talke like that we are here for some reason love muscle cars right I have a camaro z 28 ss corvette disign originally that hood its unique made from Chevrolet its ls1 slp fiberglass that car my friend is super fast 5.7 liters motor I also have Volkswagen herbby 1600 motor of course small engine and ford maverick 302 engine four dors and the best 69 boss ford mustang 302 all cars original i was born in mexico but came to united state wen i was 9 yers old Dustin old cars classic industries will put you on the road to a successful restoration
The only difference from the as and z28 that year model is the ss is lighter and came with ls6 intake. They both have ls1 engines so what is the big deal?
Brandon Daniel actually finally year of the z28 and the ss both had ls6 engines and intakes
It's a true SS but it's has the 35th anniversary paint and sticker set up but it's not a Z/28/SS clone it's just the appearance package of it other than that it's a pristine SS my has 32XXX miles on it and is a little nicer!
Im original owner of a true 2002 SS 6sp convertible.
... mine is 1 of less then 609 built
I drive my '93 Z28 more than my BMW
It's not a true SS. 1st clue is no SS rear spoiler, big give away. If we were able to see the rpo codes on the door sticker, the WU8 (SS code) would not be listed. It would be nice if Tony would show that.
dude its a z28 it was upgraded to an ss your right its not a true ss but he said its a z28 with the ss package added on to it
i agree the discriptions said 310 horsepower but i believe the ss was rated at 325 good call
No ss spoiler? The rims? That kinda sucks
Had one six years ago , kick my self for getting rid of it. I got 28 miles per gal with it of course it had a 6 speed .
Dang, " a modern day supercar". This guy is 1 hell of a salesman.
1. Its not modern day
2. Its not a supercar
Id like to see him show a prius haha
Not the ss wing
explain
Its a Z28 Not a SS 35th LE
Good eye man, z28 spoiler
it doesnt say "SS" on the seats..
It's not a ss its a z28 with some of the ss options from the factory.... Someone ordered it like that....
it says ss on it..
If it was an ss it would have the wing and seats.... It not a ss
yeah, i didnt think so
This isn't even close to being a collectors car. The only way it would be is if the other 3,300 got totaled. I have one of 136, 97' ss convertibles with 38xxx miles, now that's a collectors car.
No it's not, Bahahaha! Your Lt1 is a garbage engine. Go replace your optispark.
Lmao, you wouldn't know a rare car even if it hit the bus you ride to work
***** says you.....
SS clone. Too bad.
Are you buying it if so i'm sure Tony would gladly get you the correct spoiler..........Dam big deal!!!!!
Thats a fuckin clone dosent even have the ss wing
