Hey Chris, you should consider a “how-to” video for paint correction. Details on all the materials used, methods, etc.. I think that video would be a big hit, as I’m sure many others would be interested in learning from you as well.
Brings back memories of my early college days! I truly appreciate your transparency and sharing the products that you use when detailing and performing paint correction. Keep the content coming.
Let's help this guy out by liking, leaving comments, and sharing the video. It's been stuck at 29K subscribers, which should have been at least 290K. 👍💖
I agree but I do wonder how many people see his videos and aren’t happy with him flipping cars. Most people don’t see the value added in detailing and fixing problems they just want to bitch about someone making these cars more expensive
Love the content! Especially the corvette stuff (from Australia, we don’t see many C6 cars) Would equally love to know what’s the purpose of using dish soap to wash the cars? 😂
Great flip and video, your paint correction skills are superlative. And OU812 is a great album, still holds up today. The world was a better place with EVH in it.
Love your content and presentation style. That SS really cleaned up and was a fantastic example to start with. You did an amazing job with the paint correction and paint touch ups. I think you could/should do a video just on your paint touch up process. Looking forward to the next video.
He's extremely talented, hard-working, and has great taste in cars and the mods he installs. Chris's UA-cam channel, along with Alex of legitstreetcars, is tied for my favorite auto UA-cam channel. I love the guy's who are grassroots, and do their own work in their garages. True inspirations. Respect.
Makes me miss my 2001 SS. Bought it new and kept it for nine years. The only SLP options it had was the center mount exhaust like yours and the SS floor mat/grille upgrade. You getting that car for $9300 was an incredible deal. That car new with the SLP options on it was probably about $35k.
Again a great video, Chris! I have been watching your channel since way back and left a few comments already, mentioning how you inspire my C6 built here in germany, but that aside: i think it would be fun to see you flipp a 5th gen Camaro for a change. Can you do one of those next? :) Cheers, Guido
Keep the flipper coming Chris. I tonally forgot about the '02 once you started on the '69. This was obviously a win, win and win for all parties concerned. Well done. 👍👍
I love this type of content (along with all your other stuff)! I actually aspire to much of what you do - flips and quick flips definitely among those. IMO, you do it the right way, and it seems you get enjoyment from it. The ultimate win/win!! Keep it up!
Bought one of these same color brand new for $36K and sold it for $12K with 60K smiles on it years later. Great color. Replaced it with a C6 Vette. Thanks for your videos!
Great video! Thanks for showing your paint correction products and content. Glad to see it was win-win for everyone involved. Keep the videos coming. Cheers!
Hey Chris, that is an absolute thing of beauty!! That is also one of Chevy’s best colors!! I have been watching the car market and the values of this type of car especially with low miles you definitely hit a home run…. Looking forward to seeing what your next flip might be…. I’m a serious car nut and love this type of content!! Happy motoring!!
Love going through the older videos in-between newbies. For the girls and boys in the back row, don't use dish soap unless you're going to protect the paint right away. It strips the wax protection off and doesn't do your weatherstripping any favors either.
Just found your channel. My 4th gen past cars. 1993 Z28, 1996 Z28, 1997 Formula WS6, 1999 Z28, 2002 SS. I also owned a 2015 SS 1LE and now my favorite one of all. 2018 SS 1LE. All cars 6-speed manuals. Camaro addiction guess I have it also.
Hey Chris! Hello from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada eh! :) I'm really loving the channel, been watching a ton of your videos. Just wanted to mention that a few months ago I found a video put out by Chip Foose on how he fixes paint chips. He puts body filler around the chip, fills the chip with paint and then sands it down. The body filler protects the paint around the chip while working on it. When finished, the body filler comes off fairly easily because it's on top of shiny clear coat. His process looks pretty easy and works great. I would check out his video for the next time you need to fix a chip.
looks freat, first video i've seen of yours, def a new subscriber. my dad and i picked one of these up with almost exact same spec, except with the manual (blue, t tops, exhaust and all) at a hagerty's auction in PA back in 2017. it had 4,900 miles on it. currently it has a little over 7,000 miles. hasnt seen a drop of rain in its life. was still on OEM tires until 2022 lol. it's probably the only one cleaner than the one you found, other than the couple out there that only have delivery miles. it was stored in a climate controlled garage on a 4 post lift somewhere in the northeast actually i want to say maybe in your area. i think we paid $24k all in after auction fees. i know they are not the most absolutely coveted camaro's ever, but man is that thing fun to drive with the t tops off and banging through the gears. my dad has had a knee surgery since then so it's usually me taking him for a drive but boy does it put a smile on our faces. its hard to do but we try to keep the miles off of it. wondering what their values will do in the future.
Honestly bro, really surprised you only have 29.5k subs when your content is worthy of 2.9m. I always look forward to watching through your posted content whenever you do post. It's your attention to detail on every part of every car you've done that just amazes me. Honestly bud, well done on another one. Keep'em coming!!!!
I had a 99 Camaro V6 same color that I traded for a 2000 Corvette Coupe same color and literally the color really makes both cars , your detail work really brought it home thanks for a great video

My step dad passed away 2 years ago from cancer found his notebook just a while ago and found out he was well on his way to building his dream 2001 convertible Camaro I am gonna finish what he started gonna buy one and put every mod that he got in these notes on the car 💯🗣️
That’s sick car, I had a 98 red Ss I bought for $5k had cam built trans an converter, did a 3” o/r X pipe into spintech pro streets, I cleaned up the tune as well, blacked the windows out turned sold for $12.5 3 weeks later. It definitely fun
Damn that thing is beautiful, killer colour , I am sure someone is loving that thing right now. Well done keeping these bad ass cars alive and well in 2024 ! Hi Chris. I jumped onto your channel quite late with your E63 project. I really like watching your videos. The deep clean cts-v was quite relaxing 😊 keep up the great work 👍
Great job on the Blue SS. Car looked amazing when you finished with it. The guy in SC. will have a very good car to cruise around in. Thanks for sharing Chris.
I do the same thing with pre-emission diesel trucks. Have probably flipped 25-30 if I were to guess. Keep up the content. I assure you your channel will blow up
It’s incredible what some people think of taking care of their car (baby). I just agree with them when I buy it and detail them like new before selling them.
I also had a 95 formula difference was I was only 35 yo in 1998. what impressed me most was no bugs ever hit windshield. Back in the day I built a 69 and 4 68's and had 1 67. sold the 69 in 85 for a down payment on house for 6500.00 I too like Camaros but only 67-69.
Great work Chris! I also am a Live Free or Die resident and also have a navy blue metallic SS, mine was in rougher shape than yours (I got mine with 50k back in 03) burnt clutch and a junkyard rear end.. I ended up giving it a mild mod of an LS6 mild cam, stage 3 clutch, and strange 12 bolt and have some paint work done. I bought those chrome rims in 03 from SLP $800 for the set, you can’t get them (GM stamped) new anymore…last set SLP had their website was $2,200, just rims! Keep up the good work
Chris, outside of myself, you're the most meticulous person I've seen on UA-cam. I had back surgery in Singapore 3 years ago, and it didn't go so well, so I spend a lot of my time looking at car related events on UA-cam.

Yes, interested in these types of videos but in particular, how do you publish what cars you want to flip so your subscribers can have a shot at cars that have been touched by your craftsmanship? Great point. This video was almost forgotten about and hastily filmed towards the end. The red z06 I recently did is being sold to a subscriber as I mentioned in the last video to email me if anyone was interested. I'll be doing that moving forward as well. Thanks!
Navy Blue Metallic was the best color on the 4th gens. And this one has the center exit exhaust and 10-spoke wheels. Perfect combo. I had a red 98 SS, #1761. Loved it. My brother-in-law owns it now
