When men weren't afraid to romance a woman. When women believed in a forever love.
House party music
You put that very well - and it's so true....I'm 66, and I remember "rapping" to a girl you liked - and "courting" her....With respect.
@@warrenmorphis4208 I agree I'm just gone 67 .three weeks ago. I'm a woman them days were better ....there no respect any more for owt.🤢🤢👍
Q
I wish that romance, would come back! Also men who would love to romance a woman!! Rap, music is not it!! 💔
Looking back at my life, I realize how lucky I am to have grown up during that time.
Me too I love it
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL SONG THE 70S THE BEST MUSIC 🎶 EVER MADE. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This present generation doesn't have a clue as to what they've missed. They've been ripped off!!
This has been one of my favorite Whisper songs, but wait the intruders were before The Whispers. Learn something new every day.
Little Sonny had his own sound, now this is music 👋👋
Facts he was on and off key at times be you could feel his soul pour out of every song.
@@brodocbetty4856 that's what I liked about his voice. It's so mesmerizing because you know he's singing from his heart. ❤
@@brodocbetty4856 Only in Cowboys to Girls. In fact, the background was flat also. But in this song, Sonny sang PERFECTLY. Wasn't off key at all in this tune. He was gorgeous.
RIP LITTLE SONNY. 🌹
When music just made you feel so damn good…💚
Who’s Here Still Fantasizing About True Love…Where Is It???
I wonder too
It'll find us one day
Jesus
It’s in us baby! Get right within & the love will follow!🔥💙🔥
Amen
I’m 25 and I wish we had songs out like this. That’s about love and to be wanted. I love this
Man up
@@yessirrr5182 man up like talk shit to strangers on the internet kinda manly?
There is, groups like Durand Jones & the indications, joey quinones & thee sinners, thee sacred souls is just some these groups are bringing back that old soul feeling
I was born in the 1970's and although I mostly do not listen to this kind of music, it is indeed very special. There is something undeniably majestic about the incredible R&B music of this era. Unrivaled in my opinion.
This is when music was good
Tell me about it.
You got that right
Met my wife riding around listening to this 21 yrs ago my how the time flies
Yes, Indeed!!! (sigh)
Si porque lo de ahora, para mi no es música.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Classic but underrated R&B group.
Everthing about this song is soo good. Sonny's voice (RIP), the backing vocals, the music (drums, trumpets), the lyrics. Man! It just so good and smooth and it makes me reminiscent the 70's when I was a teenager living with mom and pops and all my brothers and sisters. God please take me back to those beautiful years and simpler times.
Truth
Totally loving the intruders ...songs like these are unheard off in todays society
Because you are to dam young to understand that's where true music 🎶 comes from
We will never hear beautiful music like this again. 60"70" was the best era for music.
AMEN👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Oh Man! You do not hear music like this anymore. SUCH a Beautiful CLASSIC.
Exactly!! 💯
They just don't make beautiful sweet innocent music like this anymore 💕😥
AWESOME!!
Oh how I remember this type of romance: it was great! Going home and waiting by the phone until you got the courage to call. WOW
One of THE GREATEST LOVE ❤ SONGS EVER.. LIL SONNY RIP
No body can't never ever take his place
I’m sure 99.9% that most of the music in 1970’s touched even the heart of the Lord. 👍

Philly put out some of the most heartfelt songs from the most talented groups Philadelphia International needs their own movie like Cadillac records or Motown or chess records Philly was so good they created disco and own it with most song being converted from there existing catalogs basically locking it down producing 80 percent if all disco WOW shame they did not fight back and allowed hate to kill an entire era

The Intruders. - I Wanna Know Your Name. - (Official Soul Train Video).

Hey Dawn Jones, the extended version is on Cd. Go on Amazon buy the cds. 😀😁😆😄😃
This is quintessential Philadelphia...young men worked hard to perfect their courting techniques, gestures, lines, music selections, brought flowers, wrote poetry...{sigh} I'd love to go back home to those times...
It's 2022 and I would like to board a Spaceship to take me back to this love! "That Philly Sound"
I miss and love the Intruders and this Lengendary song! "Tell me your name?" Sonny! 💋 💖💖💖💖
I'd be on that spaceship. 🥰🙏🥰🙏🥰

John 6:35
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
For all of us speaking about "they don't make music like this anymore", "when men truly expressed to women", "music aint the same", etc.,...we as music listeners and fans we hold the keys, have the cards to change the narrative. If we are not going to blame the record labels for how today's music is...let just shut up and start supporting the artists that are putting out quality music rather mainstream, independent or underground. Yes they do exist.🤷🏾♂️
Not griping just #hardcorer&bfan
Other than that, this song is so timeless
I remember copy this from WBLS , slow Jams . Still have the cassette 😊 Giving away my ages.
