Good review, I wish I would have got a belt that I could thread outside but alas... As a soldier, I would suggest a drop leg or medium ride kydex for ease of draw with a vest on. High ride is not recommended with a plate carrier or vest.
The flashlight... it's mounted on the same side as the pistol. Might want to reconsider that as you might need to draw the pistol and light simultaneously OR get to the light after you have the pistol out. Supplementary gear is for the left hand, dangerous things are for the main hand. Just my experience.
I was searching for some of the HSGI pouches, and coincidently scored a great deal on the 5.11 VTAC Borokos belt and am looking for a 1.75” inner belt of some from and for the time being using a pair of the single depth two wide condor pouches on my 5.11 tac tech carrier. I was wanting to get all hsgi then saw the vtac belt and took a shot in the dark for 36 bucks on make an offer and to my suprise the seller let it go for less than half of what i saw it for on amazon. Presently looking to have a pair of rifle and pistol magazines, a folding dump pouch, tq holder, Iraq/blow out kit pouch and a kydex pistol holster for my cz p-07. Im undecided on the set up but above is the loose set up i want to try out and see how it evolves as i get a chance to train with it making adjustments to add or subtract items as needed based of how i find it works for my needs. Apprecaite the video as it was good info and atleast gives me a starting point to build off of as i fine tune everthing ones usps show up with the items i ordered.
I use my belt for extra mags a dump pouch and my knife and a flashlight. Anything else I have on my rig. That sidearm set up is so high i suggest having one lower that straps to your leg especially if you wear a rig as well
I'd love to see your entire kit/loadout.....your plate carrier with your battle belt. I have my battle belt setup like yours as far as placement of mag pouches but i have a slight issue drawing the first pistol mag as it hits my plate carrier, so i'm curious to how you have yours setup
Spartan 324 Airsoft my next video is going to be my plate carrier setup. I'm actually have a similar issue drawing sometimes. I'm experimenting between a full drop leg holster vs some modified holsters that allow for more clearance.
Awesome, the holster i went with is the Ragnarok by T-rex arms on a mid-ride UBL by safariland and one of T-re-arms thigh straps and it works great, no interference drawing my sidearm. I have clearance issues with teh mags on my battle belt. Seems we have common issues haha
Your carrier is way too low bro, if your hitting it on a draw. If it's a regular 12" plate you should have a good 6 inch clearance too your belt line, and that's if your like 4 ft nothing.
i dunno what or how you run your gear. but its been my experience that running the piggybacks on the belt is a bit much. because of weight and how far they protrude. of course you can get suspenders and just keep humping. but i personally prefer to run my piggybacks on my plate carrier. it allows more room for the protrusion of the stacked up magazines. but to each their own.
I would recommend putting your mags in the other direction. With the mag facing backwards your hand falls on the mag in a natural loading position. Not fiddling required
That stuff is very expensive and unnecessary but of course that's just my opinion in my situation thank you for the video and that is a very nice system you have set up
great setup, kinda unfortunate theres not enough real estate on the left side for the flashlight pouch (if you run it as a left handed backup to your rail light)
All my training has always been bullets forward..indexing the mag with pointer finger on bullet facing side. I can do it with my eyes closed/in the dark. It’s all what works for you though
Ieuan Alli I have never had any issues with it falling off. You tighten the inner belt to your comfort. Some course we run...I will wear a plate carrier also and have no issues. There are loops for “tactical suspenders” if you want to wear them also
sHaDy_6 hey I’m a 38 and wanted room to wear a a rigid gun belt under it. With that being said I could of also gone with the XL but got a bit more real estate with the 2x
Travis Griffith great question. I initially set it up with double stack and i found two problems: 1. The weight was uncomfortable for all day use so i moved the extra mags to my plate carrier. 2. The double stack mags caused the belt to bend outward at the top. I found this distribution actually made the belt slightly less functional.
Mitch Andrews I would go to the Viking tactics website and look for the Brokos Battle belt for specifics. In general, you order the same size you would wear for pants as they account for additional clothing underneath.
What tape did you use for the holster and where did you buy it? I have a black holster on my hsgi multicam belt and I want to do what you did exactly. Thanks
TheProfessorDank thanks for the tip ...I actually have been looking for some options to do that. There is limited clearing when wearing my plate carrier
Running a lvl1 OWB on a battle belt... that's how you can tell right away this is a range kit or airsoft kit. Nobody runs a lvl1 OWB if they're using it for real work. I sure as hell don't. And if you really don't want it bending out and flopping everywhere, get rid of the battle belt and use an inner/outer setup. Sure, you'd have to make a whole new kit from the ground up (since those hsgi pouches are the molle version and not the belt version) but you'll have a kit that has none of the problems you were talking about. And it dons/doffs just as quickly as your current setup. Just... it's better.
Lincoln Pascual guess it depends on ur definition of real work. I use this for all of the on range firearms classes my company runs. When I’m not on the range I’m concealed carrying IWB all day/night. I think the most important thing to remember is “habits we train are habits we gain” so whatever type of holster you use for work, should also be the one you train with on the range, whatever level of retention that may be. I think there are certainly different advantages to a regular belt setup.
mikeyb byekim this belt was definitely more expensive than others out there. I’d take a look at Condor belts and pouches. They are way less expensive and still get the job done.
I cant find one to fit my waist... I fucked up my back and lost a lot of weight (because I can't workout) and now I have like a 27in waist... Nothing fits LOL. I started working out again and then fucked up my wrist! Gotta have surgery for that now! Just cant fucking win....

4:34 I thought this was an Airsoft video up until I saw the real rounds inside the pistol mags lmao.
The flashlight... it's mounted on the same side as the pistol. Might want to reconsider that as you might need to draw the pistol and light simultaneously OR get to the light after you have the pistol out. Great belt set-up. Thanks for sharing!
Excellent video, right to the point, no stumbling your sentences and a well thought out layout for the belt. Mine is very similar.
Love the Taco pouches man.

Ive always found it easier for mags ran on ya belt for the bullets to face the rear...good set up though
To each their own. From the 9 to 12 i go bullets forward, but from 9 to 6 it's bullets backwards. It's all in how your body works
I've been looking for this video and it might be helpful.
Super nice setup
Nice but expensive, thanks for sharing.
I came here for Airsoft... Still works!
Kapowie Presents happy to hear it!!
same
Kapowie Kapowie lmfao what a puss
Eddie Rodriguez well now i use real guns lol. nice job replying to a 2 year old comment
let me know when u guys shoot at your friends and have fun with it, lol

Very nice setup, would be great for a quick bug out if you ever had to grab and go. Now you got me thinking.
I just have a regular 1.75” belt. Can I use these HSGI tacos on a normal belt or does it have to have molle?
You can get the HSGI tacos in belt loop I think but you can also you something like a Malice clip
I don’t know if this is a good thing. I have never seen this but I think it’s a good idea.
Good stuff!
i dunno what or how you run your gear. but its been my experience that running the piggybacks on the belt is a bit much. because of weight and how far they protrude. of course you can get suspenders and just keep humping. but i personally prefer to run my piggybacks on my plate carrier. it allows more room for the protrusion of the stacked up magazines. but to each their own.
Nice setup 👍🏻
Not sure if its camo, but the inner ar mag pouch looks like a cartoon mouth. Kinda like jim Carey in the mask. Lol
On mine I have another backup pistol, my Smith and Wesson
I would recommend putting your mags in the other direction. With the mag facing backwards your hand falls on the mag in a natural loading position. Not fiddling required
Excellent video. I learned a lot.
Barton Davis glad you enjoyed it!! I will be uploading some new videos in the coming weeks!! Thanks.
That stuff is very expensive and unnecessary but of course that's just my opinion in my situation thank you for the video and that is a very nice system you have set up
great setup, kinda unfortunate theres not enough real estate on the left side for the flashlight pouch (if you run it as a left handed backup to your rail light)
I would also suggest having your search/backup light on your support side.
You should check out the " Infidel war belt ".
I HATE the double taco's. Probably going to pick up some of those single HSGI's soon.
Why would you keep your mags with bullet facing forward? Youd have to take extra time to flip it.
All my training has always been bullets forward..indexing the mag with pointer finger on bullet facing side. I can do it with my eyes closed/in the dark. It’s all what works for you though

Great video bud!
YoungGunner89 thanks!!
Para Colombia si tiene
Safety check it for me? LMAO! I’m not getting shot.
The AR taco mag in the middle has a mouth ;-)
Sorry for my ignorance, but what are those tiny loops on top of the padding for?
Carlos Barahona those are for suspenders.
how do you put it on? it will fall off because you haven't put it through belt loops on your pants, no?
Ieuan Alli I have never had any issues with it falling off. You tighten the inner belt to your comfort. Some course we run...I will wear a plate carrier also and have no issues. There are loops for “tactical suspenders” if you want to wear them also
@@saltytactical8721 ah okay, thank you
👍 looking more for a vest set-up for bed-side but thinking this might be better?
Ogre Dad I have a SKD tactical chest rig setup. I’ll be uploading that video in the weeks to come.
Sounds good. Will keep an eye out for it
Great breakdown. I have been looking at this exact belt. I see you went with the XXL. What pant size are you?
sHaDy_6 hey I’m a 38 and wanted room to wear a a rigid gun belt under it. With that being said I could of also gone with the XL but got a bit more real estate with the 2x
Cool setup bro
Para comprar uno como hago
Why don't you use the double stask mag pouches
Travis Griffith great question. I initially set it up with double stack and i found two problems: 1. The weight was uncomfortable for all day use so i moved the extra mags to my plate carrier. 2. The double stack mags caused the belt to bend outward at the top. I found this distribution actually made the belt slightly less functional.
Reason for the numbered mags? I think i may know why???
bbowden1 great question...the numbers are just to identify the mags...in case I have any issues with one I know which one needs repair
Who makes those rifle mags?
PJ Jackson HSGI...I swear by them
Does $120 for the belt include the actual belt or is that just the outer part of the belt ?
Phil D unfortunately separate prices for each. You can find a similar setup if you go with condor for around $120 total tho!!
Lol damn I’m seeing it now for one rifle pouch both belts for what you paid total lol
Thanks for a great video !!
No problem glad you enjoyed it!! thanks for watching
Nice job zero dislikes 👍I liked the video I might use this at the range
Do you know what the sizes consist of?
Mitch Andrews I would go to the Viking tactics website and look for the Brokos Battle belt for specifics. In general, you order the same size you would wear for pants as they account for additional clothing underneath.
I think your into for more then $250 because those HSGI tacos are $40 a piece.
You are getting ripped off if you are paying $40 each taco. I get mine for $26 a piece.
Where did you get them from? Im looking to buy some.
www.riflegear.com/trib/tribsearch?searchterm=hsgi+taco
Thanks!
What tape did you use for the holster and where did you buy it? I have a black holster on my hsgi multicam belt and I want to do what you did exactly. Thanks
Blue alpha gear 1.75" battle belt ftw but nice setup man!
Do you just use stencils to mark your mags?
Good video, nice setup, but I have a suggestion on your holster drop it down lower for better draw and clearance.
TheProfessorDank thanks for the tip ...I actually have been looking for some options to do that. There is limited clearing when wearing my plate carrier
Be careful with a drop leg holster
They can flop around worse than grandmas titties.
looks like the side arm is set pretty far back

Whats inner outer setup? So stay away from molle? Can you point me to some products I should look at instead of a battle belt?
Para Colombia
great set-up, but I hear those condor pouches are crap.
I have had good luck with mine so far and I run this belt pretty hard but I will be adding an update video soon
Condor stuff has improved greatly, id rather get condor for secondary items and save the cash to put towards the mag pouches and other items
expensive belt wow, i may try to manipulate a safety back workout belt
mikeyb byekim this belt was definitely more expensive than others out there. I’d take a look at Condor belts and pouches. They are way less expensive and still get the job done.
Intent and purpose. Say it with me, intent and purpose.
basp 2005 it’s intents and purposes. Which is exactly what he said.

Train with any battle belt and you will find quickly how much they suck
How do they suck
Fat warbelts are fading away at last
AMMO BELT PLUS 5, IF YOU WOULD OF HAD ALL AMMO POUCHES AND NOTHING ELSE, PASS
I thought it was airsoft 😢
bruh bruh? You could use it for airsoft but I’d recommend going with all condor brand with the same setup You’d save a lot of money
Salty Tactical thanks for the tip
