He said that in the Hadith it concerns about a speacial kind of Lizard which is harmful in the house and outside. That‘s why it was ordered to be killed, not because of the fire (Ibrahim as.) Dr Zakir said harmful insects are in general mustahhab for you to kill. If it is not harmful or not a threat for you it is makruh to kill a insect.
What about spider. They are also venomous. Is there any hadeeth about spider's?

Where is the Hadith about killing cockroaches? where is the Hadith about killing flies? more people die due to food poisoning caused by these pests than due to snakebites every year.

The term "Fowaisiq" that was mentioned is several correct/authentic narrations of prophet Muhammad PBUH means that these creatures like mice, rats, a certain type of lizards " the Gecko" and others are evil or malice. The origin of the word "fisq" which means to rebel against a law or disobey or it can mean to go out. These types of creatures usually go out from their places of dwelling/holes and cause evil things in human's homes. Like a mouse can starts a fire as was mentioned in one "hadith", and we were ordered to kill the mice/rats in the state or "Ihram or Ihlal" in hajj as other animals as well. So Those animals have no sanctity at all. So it refers to anything that can cause damage to property and destroy people's wealth/property. Islam has ways to protect it's followers from any harm. All praise and Thanks to Allah "Alhamdulillah" for it's blessings.

Why did Allah create them in the first place?
1400 yrs back, there might be a certain species of gecko which could be extremely toxic, and which might have gone extinct for now. Remember they lived in earthen houses so high chances of invasion of scorpion, cobras etc. But in today's world there are minimal to no threat when house gecko is concerned. Nevertheless mosquitoes, are a concern for tropical countries.

The gekko that we found in houses is said to be very venomous, they say that it can stay on the wall and throw its tongue into the food and specially the milk, it spit is said to be dangerous for people. In my country when a lezard or a coackroach fall into water or even onto the sauce, we leave it from there and use the food, the sauce and whatever else, feeling at ease. But when it is a house lizard that falls into the sauce or the water, then never will anybody eat that after. This animal is very creepy.

Because once a lizard fell into food container and that whole family died 😢 by food poisoning in my neighborhood. Killing snakes and any animal that can be harmful to us is allowed but not like you specially go into forest for snake hunting.

Hadith for 100 deeds for killing? Howd you get the exact number? Please reference. Also i agree with you completely, we should only kill them when it's in our boundaries, not unnecessarily. Ok, it’s understandable that if some thing is a threat to your life and you have no other option except to kill.
In order to fully understand and apply that Hadith, we also need to acknowledge the negative impact of that practice and weigh it accordingly in order to come to a final conclusion.
let’s talk about lizards, home lizards to be specific also know as gecko. We know that everything has a purpose hence lizards also have a purpose, infact a big one. Lizards play a vital role in our eco system as they are consumers of pests and insects. Back then, people especially living in forested areas did not have the type of tech to keep the crawling and flying insects away so they would rely on nature to take that responsibility.
South Africa, Australia etc people there prefer to have a lizard in their home as the repellents are not that efficient and are costly.
When I hear people talk about killing geckos for good deeds, it just upsets me because it implies that lizards are purposeless and must not exist with humans.
I think rather than saying that we should admire and make use of the creation of Allah.
And I don’t think so a home lizards has any intention to harm humans, they just doing their thing, it’s our job to stop their path from going where you don’t want it to go.
I see people here using all sorts of cheap,poisoned toxic insect repellents outside and inside their rooms, homes in presence of children , 😂 major contradiction here.
With all that being said, I think we are misinterpreting this Hadith.

My cat always hunt and eat those house gecko and never got sick. I would never kill them myself though, same as cats and birds, they don't cause any harm directly or indirectly.

House Lizards are non venomous . Although reptile skin can transmit disease like salmonella , this does not necessitate the elimination of creature who follow their instincts. I fell in love with Dear Muhammad's (peace be upon him) wonderful nature ( I am an Atheist born in a Christian family) . I want to believe the he ( peace be upon him) was a vegan. This is the only thing keeping me from converting to Islam.

If Allah made them he might be have any intention but we people took it in wrong way. They are animals and they don't have brain, but we are human and we can keep our food safe. Even my home so many lizards. But i never noticed they harmed me, they will harm me if i am careless. Even we use electricity and that also harmful if we touch it, it doesn't mean that we should leave using electricity.
It's not their fault to be in home, coz they also deserve same life as we human deserve. I don't believe God, bhagavan, Allah or anything coz i never saw them, may be they are alive in in the things which made by nature. Desert lizards are more toxic and killer species than common domestic lizards which also can cause food poisoning.

Please let me know if somebody knows "If a house gecko is venemous, I have seen people eating it and drinking even in wine. Also zoology says, house gecko is not venemous and even if it bites there will be no specific harm causes to human".

What is humanity? Are there any rules in humanity to live life?
This is a tough one for me, and I get the feeling tough for Dr. Naik to explain as well, given all the pauses for water breaks. In my 54 years of living with house lizards in East Africa, not once did I hear of any lizard bites, poisonous or otherwise, or lizards contaminating food. I accept this is from hadith but also have the intellect to know that the geckos are not venomous. Is stating that fact and seeking to understand wrong of me? By the same token, can we apply this to other animals that are venomous (like bees) or cats that can cause dander, allergies and other health impacts to us? See where I’m going with this?
the question isn't why did the prophet command to kill it, if He said so then we just have to obey not to ask the reason.
These are the same questions that came in my mind. Plus, in our state there are two types of house lizards, one which makes sounds 'Tiktik' and the other one which makes 'Kokey kokey' sound. The first type of lizard is which we have many at our home and during summer these lizards help a lot by eating mosquitos and other flying insects; the other types of lizard live in the storage house or terrace and often poop a lot at those places and can't be seen easily... I wonder, are the lizards about which the prophet (pbuh) said the same kind of lizards which are found in the Asian subcontinents or by 'lizards' all the lizards are mentioned here.

And if you can find the reason of the commandement it is better. And if you can't it's better to stop searching.
Not all animals are equals. Bees, Insects, only attack when they are in danger, or when they feel the fear in humans.
Some others like snakes, they bite for no reasons. They are dangerous no matter where you see them.
In this case, it's logic to kill them.
If you are convinced that a type of gecko is not poisonous, then you can maybe not kill it. It will not be haram.
But if you see a danger, and you let it on the road, meaning you can cause someone to get hurt, you should erase this danger.
This may be the sense of the hadith. Wa Allahu A3lam.

Look at the biggest lizard in the world The Komodo. It is very dangerous and can attack for no reasons.
This animal if you see it around your house, of course you should kill it if you can.

It goes against the Quran to harm an animal. My goodness this is an example of stupid Sufi superstituation and Wahabism rolled into one. The Maliki school said that when you look into these hadiths you must use the three prong approach. 1. The chain 2. The context surrounding the conversation and finally 3. Whether the hadith goes against the nature of the Quran.
