- In this video I review the GI Joe Classified Cobra Tele-Viper and Flight Pod aka Trubble Bubble by Hasbro. This is a Hasbro Pulse exclusive so you will have to wait till it becomes available there again. I also take time and compare it to the O-Ring counterpart’s. I will look at the sculpt, paint, articulation and accessories.

Wire snips are the best and so easy. I never noticed the helmet thing till after this was shown off and pointed out on a stream, so don’t feel bad lol

Mine just arrived and they are fantastic! The box was way too big, but I'm an opener so it doesn't matter.

So what do you think of them?
They are still in the box! I'm thinking of ways to strap the gravity bomb to the trouble bubble. I'll probably put a tiny magnet at the bottom of the bomb and another one under it. I also want to add LED's to it. I've been getting crazy with them. I've decked out Serpentors Chariot with them and the Scrap Iron's Drone. I even added LED's to the smoke effects. I’m surprised how long it took for them to sell out to be honest it took like 5 or 6 months (so anyone complaining they didn’t get one had plenty of time) ,mine just came in the mail 🤘🏻 there already selling for $100-$125 on eBay 😂
Everyone got FOMO when they saw it was preparing to ship. That’s why people are now trying to sell them high, I have a feeling there will be more available soon.
Now this is one set definitely a must have in any one's collection. However at this price point, it's gonna be tough to army build this!
Idk 24 for fig. 30 for pud. When you breakdown the price. So army builders. But I’m not a Army builder guy. I only have one. I may get another. For a Joe steel lol
I feel like if I get this and the Python Patrol version, I'm going to swap the missiles. I think red would look best but yellow on this and black on PP version would look good.
I can see some neat looking kit bashing going on with those two.
Cool review! I hope Hasbro makes more of these. It also would have been cool if they made a short sleeve Tele-Viper. I used Tiger Force Recondo's arms on my Cobra Island Viper. Just had to paint the rolled up sleeves navy blue. It looks great though.
I believe they’re will be more, not sure we will get a short sleeve version tho. They wanted to give people head options and this worked best.

Tele Viper’s “weapon” is a frequency scanner.
I would love a few of these, but $55? And, the fact that they are currently sold out. I may have no choice but to keep it. Hopefully, I'll get lucky and be able to pick up 1.
Surprised the flight stand works. I was going to modify the Fortnite glider stands. Mine arrive tomorrow. Nice to see it next to the o-ring version.
Yeah it works pretty nice. I want to compare as many of the o-ring stuff as possible and I don’t see many people doing that.

It has a blast effect port, but since he is communications, it would be cool if that was a parabolic mic for spying. This figure needs a reverse ALERT on his helmet visor.
I like the flight Pud. But I really HATE the box! There so much empty space! It doesn’t have to be that big! 1/3 waisted space.
Also, old vintage one. I put it together as a kid. And stickers. Which got me into models. A shame it’s already 90% put together
Yeah the box is big, my guess is that it’s a same size box that other vehicles will come in so….
As for stickers, no thank you, I HATE putting on stickers 😂
I prefer the full face plate for the Televiper. Gives him more of a serious foe look.
Masked troopers in general do better The regular face of the original was already goofy.
So the updated look does a lot.
Not exactly excited for the televiper (cobra who takes pictures?) but I am fir the trouble bubble. I wish they sold the bubble separately. I would have bought more.
Had my Baronees and Destro in trouble bubbles as a kid. I only had a televiper as a stalking stufer as a kid. A figure I initially wanted until I found out he didn't carry a gun. Which disappointed me cause the vipers are my fav gi joe figs and lets face it he's no Dial Tone (My fav Joe). 😂😂

We have the problem that it doesn't close and that is an issue in my opinion because it should close! The same problem with the python trubble bubble!!! Same side. It just closes on one side!!! Did you see this? I guess you did not realize it but one peg doesn't match. This is is my opinion the biggest Mistake. If it opens you also wanna close it right? That's the fun. How to solve it? Any Ideas?

Yeah I somehow didn’t go back to the canopy not latching properly. Probably cause it was so close and I’m going over everything on first glance.
The little vehicles should be sold separately, unless it’s something like Serpentor.

Great video and I probably get some hate for this but why hasbro doing sale stuff on repeat and before anyone jumps on me I respect why you collect it but it’s to difficult in Australia to start to

I feel hasbro gotten bit lazy and turning out the same design not exactly but close to them. Put that aside it’s very difficult to find figures in Australia and we tend to use the secondary market and that can get expensive very quickly
I get your meaning. The answer is probably cost. Make mostly the same body with small accents to differentiate between characters like the O ring Joes. . As for availability, they are drooping the ball big time in my opinion. Preorders sold out. How many did you make Hasbro? I guess these are manufactures on Europe or China because European yoututbers had these videos up a while ago. I'm still waiting for mine to ship from Georgia.
They did release a python tele viper in 1989 I wonder if they will release one for the classified series

Not understanding the female trooper officer nonsense. That helmet of hers and the mask are clearly an air trooper and I'm putting one of them in one of my trouble bubbles. The tan web gear also makes sense since the air trooper had yellow. Yellow would look sillier than tan, so they went with tan. Makes me think male air troopers are coming. Since the females don't have jet packs, they can man the trouble bubbles. Hiss tank cc will be put into one when he shows up.
I believe it’s a gas mask, but they are meant so you can swap and customize different figures.
Does the mine store on the flight pid?

of course that being said if taken in a modern context the televiper night be one of the most evil cobra characters too. We all know what kinds of stuff terorists with cameras get up to nowadays. 😮😮

I rationalized the Bubble as 25 dollars which may have been around what I paid for the original when it came out.
80s was no more then $4 or $5 bucks when it came out. I want to even say 3 something.
