I’m 33 years old, and I found out I was bipolar a couple years ago. I’m on meds now and I’m like…so aware and cognizant of everything now in a way I’ve never been before. For most of a decade, I just dissociated through my life, on autopilot. The grief of that lost time was overwhelming to process. But now that it’s passed, all I want is to live and see things. To do all of the things I wanted to do when I was young.
9:50 mundane and bored of yourself are 2 different things IMO. I have a pretty mundane life. But I love my life and my routine. I get what you're trying to say but it was worded clunky IMO
As soon as you brought up auto pliot it pulled me out of my task at work, like being took to breath manually. It's a bit annoying and funny.😅 I was on the grind.😆
people often time talk badly about this auto pilot mode but I personally enjoy it. I enjoy menial repetitive tasks that usually drive people crazy because I can just do something productive and let my mind wander. and I love thinking about stuff + it helps me come up with poetry ideas
That’s fair, but balance is important, definitely don’t want to become so unconscious or so much on autopilot that it feels like our life passes us by without us participating.
You gents are truly profound. Listening to you both, is like hearing my inner dialogue talking to me.
Wow, that's high praise and I'm really honored to hear it, thanks a lot.
