ELEVATE YOUR MAZDA CX-5 INTERIOR LIGHTING

Reupload of replacing your interior lighting on your Mazda CX-5 2017 to current Generation model. I made mistakes on my previous video and just wanted to make sure the correct information was out there. I wanna thank the subscribers that educated me on the correct process.

Appreciate the "how to". For those of us who prefer the look and feel warm white in the 2200-2600K range, this is the range of the original CX5 bulbs shown (probably around 2400K). K = Kalvin temperature. A bright white LED is much higher K rating and for some older eyes can be uncomfortable. The K rating will be shown on the package.

Thanks for the tips, i just replaced the vanity/mirrors/ceiling/trunk. It's so much better & brighter. Have you changed the plate lights?

I have debated doing this in my cx5 kf however the incandescent are actually really bright and give a nice even warm light. Still undecided.

I don’t know what year you have but the size of the bulb/fixture and brightness in the cargo area is super bad. Not even half as bright as it needs to be in mine.

Which color wires from window switch powers the lighting for the doors, and it appears you have LED light reflection on the side mirrors, doesn't that interferer with side mirror vision?

Quick question curious if it’s the same procedure for the Mirror Lights on the sun visor? Seems simple enough

Yes it is. Just use a flat thin screw driver and pull out the cover and replace. It’s a different bulb though. I didn’t replace those just the dome lights

Thanks for this video, just subscribed. This is what I was looking for, specifically the trunk light. I'm so tired if that back light being so dim. Now I just have to get the new bulbs lol. Also with bulb this you like best the bright white or the 600k one? Thanks again! Hope you make more videos on mazda cx5.
