I am a retired air traffic controller. A few years ago I had a Justice (the proper call sign, not ConAir) come into my airspace. I told the pilot that his altitude was going to be turbulent, and suggested a lower altitude with reported smoother rides. His response was priceless... "The comfort of our passengers is of no concern"
Not everybody on that plane is a serial killer or from gang of scum. There are also people who just cheated on a spreadsheet or God forbid, caught lobsters that weren't yet large enough (ten year sentence). Maybe their comfort can be a slight consideration?

Maybe. Eons ago, my grandfather's brother kicked the Holy hello out of a guy who assaulted his wife, my aunt. He didn't just threaten her, like this, I mean he brutally hurt her. My uncle was army and he put the guy in a coma. He ended up being convicted of attempted murder and served over a decade. He never got so much as a speeding ticket before or since and still did serious time. He got a tough judge and his crappy lawyer talked him out of a jury trial. 🤷 lots of injustice in this world.

The guy was going as far as threatening her and so forth. My buddy told his commander what was up, and by the end of their conversation said if the commander wasn't going to do anything, he would. Buddy ended up driving to the guys house where the MPs met him, and took the firearms he had with him. Don't remember where he was at, but the crime of passion law there would've protected him if he ended up killing the guy. In the military you don't know who you're going to meet, and never know what type of stories you will hear. The one about your uncle, I have heard similar situation from someone a long time a go. I could tell more stories about this subject.

The thing with Shawshank Redemption is... it's a pretty much flawless movie. The girl gives him an opportunity to be a little boy again, realise things could be nice, and innocent, and he reforms.

This, my grandmother had* type 1 diabetes for like 30 years and would sweat profusely when her blood sugar went very high or low even when sleeping. *Unlike "pass me another candy bar" type 2 you can't cure "your pancreas is fucked" type 1, so someone can guess the implication.

Tbf, regarding Bubba's sweating, then poor control of blood sugars can lead to nerve damage and if it's nerves which affect sweat glands then excessive sweating can occur. It's actually more common with diabetics and not all that unusual. Admittedly, sweating is more prone for low blood sugars but it's not as much of a sin as made out... the worst was the fact he instantly recovers upon receiving insulin when having a hyper (not "hypo" as Cage calls it) when it takes around 30 mins to be registered by the body.
As a former Corrections officer The biggest sin is they would not transport a releasing inmate, they would release him from last facility and he find his way home, plus he was a State prisoner for Alabama and would not even be in a Federal Prison. Also the Real "Con-air" is a DC10 and controlled by the US Marshals Service only used for extradition of Federal Pretrial Prisoners.
I'm not gonna lie, I love this movie, but I feel like there had to have been at least 10 other reasons why he got sent to jail and ended up on this plane besides the premise they used for this movie. If the main character was black, theeennnnn I would understand. I'm black and I lived in Alabama for a few years, so I am qualified to make this statement. 😁

He lets her go and completely changes his life because he was the way he was because of something wrong in his head about his childhood. The girl gives him an opportunity to be a little boy again, realise things could be nice, and innocent, and he reforms.

Yes... the sweat would be from the stress and anxiety of feeling your system going out of control and fearing you might die. Jeremy was a bit off his game in this one.
This, my grandmother had* type 1 diabetes for like 30 years and would sweat profusely when her blood sugar went very high or low even when sleeping.
*Unlike "pass me another candy bar" type 2 you can't cure "your pancreas is fucked" type 1, so someone can guess the implication.
Jeremy is an entertaining fool who is wrong usually at least once per movie lol. I wouldn't sweat it.

I love Con Air, I watch it all the time. Steve Buscemi's character was hilarious.
Tbf, regarding Bubba's sweating, then poor control of blood sugars can lead to nerve damage and if it's nerves which affect sweat glands then excessive sweating can occur. It's actually more common with diabetics and not all that unusual. Admittedly, sweating is more prone for low blood sugars but it's not as much of a sin as made out... the worst was the fact he instantly recovers upon receiving insulin when having a hyper (not "hypo" as Cage calls it) when it takes around 30 mins to be registered by the body.
As a former Corrections officer The biggest sin is they would not transport a releasing inmate, they would release him from last facility and he find his way home, plus he was a State prisoner for Alabama and would not even be in a Federal Prison. Also the Real "Con-air" is a DC10 and controlled by the US Marshals Service only used for extradition of Federal Pretrial Prisoners.
