3000 Miles to Graceland (2001)
Beat Street (1984)
So cool how practically nothing has changed! I love this movie.
I saw it last night on Netflix 😁😛
I love this movie and loved visiting Alcatraz.
I had this movie in my head as I walked around. Standing in the hole was no joke, only lasted 10 seconds and I wanted out. Even sat on the yard stairs pretending to be Clint.
Thanks for the re-shoot. ❤
My dream since a kid to visit
Fascinating to see how little has changed in almost 45 years. Thanks so much for creating and sharing!
Wow!! It hasn't changed all that much in 44 years! Great video!
Another excellent location match-up video! Did you bring screen grabs of the locations in order to line up the camera angles so closely to the original? I love the camera movement which matches some shots, too! Well done on your achievement!
I brought the scenes themselves.
Great one for the end of the year.
Always fun to see your vids! Greetsz from europe the Netherlands!
1:19 Even the colour-scheme and shelves haven't changed in 44yrs...quality!...
Fantastic video really enjoyed it 👍
everything is still there!!! astonishing!!!
We see Old Man Marley before he was released. Least we know he did do time for something gruesome. Buzz may have been right...
This is one location that hasn't changed hardly at all, unsurprisingly. Great work.
I don't know most of the movies you do this with, but the way you do this sure cool😊
THEEEE Absolute best then and now the video I have ever seen
Sooooo good!!!! I love these kinds of videos :) Thank you!
This is one of the best ones yet!
Appreciate how you tried to even vertically line up the then and now shots , close as you could , very good video indeed 😊
These things are incredibly well done. Simply amazing. Thanks for another great one.
Amazing job. So cool picking out random little things which is only possible as you did such a great job of lining up the shots!
Well shot piece. Well done!
Great movie!! I saw it in 1979 when I was 12. I'm still looking forward to seeing you do "Foul Play" 🤩
I have the footage. Reshoot coming soon. : D
@@Reshoots awesome!!! Will I see a new title beside my name? (co-creator) 😍
Executive has a nice ring to it lol Maybe you should make it another tier on your Patreon ;-)
I love comparisons. Nicely done 👍
You are amazing. Your channel deserves a lot. You will pass through creativity
Great as always!
What a classic and what a star CLint Eastwood in his hay day!
Thank you for another incredible video my friend, it’s amazing what a time capsule Alcatraz has become over the decades 👍🏽
Wow-Reshoots - Fantastic video. Your attention to camera angle. detail, and editing is evident
Always loved this movie, it made me feel soo claustrophobic watching it that it made me appreciate that I could go for a walk anytime, eat when I wanted and even turn a light on or off, sounds strange but it is that good. Also I have never been to prison but I know someone who has and he said he used to look through his tiny cell window out at people walking about and he would look at the green grass on a summers day and just imagine laying on it one day when he was free.
thank you
This is nice video then and now
Truly amazing comparison, thank you! Keep up the great work.
Excellent!
WOW! Excellent.
Superbe, certainement beaucoup de travail, c'est admirable, bravo à vous
Wow your work is impressive. Well done.

That was impressive, thanks.
thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos ! Wishing you a happy new year ! 🙂
Thanks a lot
Great film like said below nothing has changed. I love watching the film every now and then. So much emotions in 1 film a true classic.. Did they make it 🤔🙏
Very well made thank you
Love this movie. Was one of first movies i watched when my parents got cable and HBO. Having HBO was huge deal back then lol😂Subscribed. I love this stuff!
Awesome as always.
Excellent! What an iconic movie.
A great movie, a true story, replaced by the Oscar-winning Shawshank Prison ❤
Excellent reshoot! As someone who has visited Alcatraz, it is surprising how small the whole facility is. Great job capturing the scenes especially with the dozens of random tourists walking around.
I just visited with my family, and that was my initial thought… “wow, it’s smaller than I imagined”.
Great job!
Thanks for this great look-back! Simply the best Clint Eastwood Prison Drama that he ever made! 😀
well done!!
Wow didn’t realize it was all shot there. Thought maybe it was only a little bit. Looks almost unchanged.
Funny, just saw this one last week on Netflix...
Been there (from Italy), 2 things you get only when you visit in person: 1) how cold, desolate and windy it is the island; 2) how small are the cells and the exterior yard.
@@davidmerlot7135 Ciao David, grazie, tutto bene!
Assisti o filme belo trabalho amigo adoro isso reviver
I didn't know that used the real place for the film 📽️
❤❤❤❤
One of Eastwood's underrated classics. With very few exceptions, gets about 85% of the history right. Been there too. Was lucky, since I worked for the Justice Department at the time, 1999, got to see things they didn't show all the tourists like Robert "The Birdman" Stroud's cell in the medical wing and the roof where Morris and the Anglin brothers came out.
Weird seeing the warden play Longshanks in Braveheart
Watch tower at 6:12 (upper right) isn't there anymore. Maybe a prop(?)
3:53 He was too old for this shit. 😂
👌🇺🇸
The Rock has become a tourist attraction?
Has for years
Interestingly, the Rock offered inmates hot showers 2x a week I think. The idea was to get them used to hot water so that swimming in the cold bay would be intolerable!
Wow!!!! The only place in California that has not been overrun with homeless camps. Maybe they should develop that site into affordable housing.
I don't know why when we look up the name Frank Morris they date his "death" as if he was never found after he escaped from Alcatraz?
It don't when i put it and just has his birth saying 96 years old but heard he died few years back with cancer in ireland where he ended up and was hiding for many years
@@smartscratcheastmidlands6589 On google it says that he died in the same year that he fled in the vicinity of Alcatraz, that is, they claim that they have never found the body, however, until today only speculations and theories.
@@Raffen. Oh you mean in the bio sorry, yes it's all rubbish and being the mastermind i think they out to write him off the story is he made it and some storys said they made the distance and i heard once the 2 brothers had a boat waiting they planned, but a family member his cousin said he had many meetings with his family and frank morris was there fresh as ever alive
All I see is black ops.
Je déteste les touristes avec leurs casques et leurs masques là ...
That could be any prison. Are you sure it’s the same one?
Are u sure that u are real? Maybe you are someone else?
my grandfather actually escaped from Alcatraz and says the movie must be some other prison, because he's never met Clint Eastwood there.
@@armandovalmont9762 Same prison but most of it was done in a studio
First comment. Very disappointed
