This is how nfsu2 originally was in my head until i played it again nowdays...
stock, only internal upgrades for cars and more graphic intensive based for look and feel rather than the look of the cars in game....smh loved it when u can create ur OWN unique car
TBH on max graphics NFS UG2 still looks amazing even 2 decades later not to mention that its the best NFS in my book

I don't mind the cars change that much IF THEY FUNCTION PROPERLY LIKE IT COMES WITH THE GAME AS DEFAULT. I mean what's the point of having one of those new cars if you can't customize them and vinyls and paintjobs look buggy as shit
Dragozools pack has been out forever now. It was literally the first texture pack that was made for NFSU2.
I download the game full via pirated, tried a crack worked, then i tried this redux mode, but the game loads minimized but (with a crash) so i cannot use the Redux Hivision texture, why :(?
So many iconic cars.. They don't make racing games like that anymore
@Fryderyk Strycharz i mean the police chase is kind of part of NFS aswell.. like i cant stop playing this game or MW.. the proper heat level of chase by police is something that i always liked
Because that ultra modded car scene died a long time ago, NFS games like this were a product of the times. These days car modification takes a more subtle approach in the car world
Nowdays Need for speed is full of boring hypercars, tuner and jdm cars are way more fun to drive in games
@@JoaoPaulo-et7ds I dont know really but i really prefer tuner and jdm cars to be added in MW. Looking at MW's car list makes me feel like its dull or something.

@Adéwalé To be honest NFS 2015 isn't Underground. NFS 2015 isn't bad game (except the handling, that's horrible), but its nowhere close to Underground in terms of overall gaming experience. Amazing graphics and nice list of cars doesn't make a game automatically best/good. But we cannot expect EA to make any really good NFS game any time soon. They go only after massive sales numbers and don't really care about quality of the game + microtransactions everywhere/paid dlc with almost no new content.
not gonna happen... ppl ask for them just builing up on NFSUG2 (which by now could have been a very great franchise) a decade ago and they never listened...

3:26 Original has more colour depth though, and more blacks. Redux has a grey filter and foggy looking draw distance, I hate games with grey filters over them. Give me depth.
I prefer the original like a gazillion times... It's actually one of the very few games where I actually totally liked the amazing super exaggerated light trails and motion blur which they removed, the lights now look dull in the redux, the neons look like paint nd not even glowing like it should, garbage redux crap...
true. at first i thought it was the other way around.. the left pic is the ''good'' one. But in terms of graphics is way better
If you guys Hate it why dont you experiment something like Configuring the Shaders and make it brighter if you felt like the neon looked like a paint try to configure the Bloom shaders but dont over configure it because the game will look too shiny and darker or even too colorful
All of these things were made in the games and then disabled or hid. This mod should have caused bug to those things you are talking.

You need to do the following at 05:59.
Select Directx 9,
click on "yes" to overwrite the installation,
click on "no" to not download the effects,
copy the reshade-shaders folder in game root,
click on edit and set the paths for effects = shaders, and textures = textures
:) Have fun

The problem with street racing game now a day they forgot the reason why we loved street racing games in the first place..it was about the car we could afford or friends or family who had car like them..we look at street racing because we can do things in the game we couldn't do in real or couldn't afford it also give us ideas on how we would build our cars up..but then they started putting in the exotic car.like we can afford those cars in real life..but we ate it up..but they lost they way and they love for the racing community..it about the money not the love of the underground car culture..the car street life..where we race where we can..streets,tracks.highways etc..maybe they need to go back and play these games over again..

@AllexCore Bass, his videos are not having any sort of disturbances and his outro and editing is satisfying to watch.
Honestly, I prefer the orangey sky that the normal version has. If it could be possible to have that instead of the blue sky, it would be perfect for me.
However, I respect that a lot of effort has went into making this. Well done man.

This game reminds me soo many things like ... amazing modifications of cars, ...amazing map, ....too long circuit races that was like hell 12+ laps 😅, ....hardcore drifting , .... starting car Nissan 350z (looking stunning and want you to start drifting lol 😂) , and yeah remind me of movie Tokyo drift 😅 and yeah old days so many gaming memories with my old pc ♥️ ... Now everywhere .. everyone is busy on fortnite and you my friend you are uploading these kind a video i really appreciate that ... And this makes my day .

WESTEL X I’m not necessarily an old gamer, but I understand. I’ve played old games. Right now I’m playing TDU 1 from 2006. There’s a new mod called Test Drive Unlimited Platinum and it adds like 850+ cars to the game, it’s insane. I totally recommend checking it out. Just crack it (get it free) like I did if you’re skeptical. Lmk if you have any questions, you won’t regret it if you’re like me, it’s better then it may look. ;)
WESTEL X Then now’s your chance. It’s perfect especially if you enjoy a wide selection of cars, huge map, (Forza Horizon has nothing on this map) fun physics, and one of the best interior modes. (Different for each car, and you can adjust seat position with height and how close you are)

I don’t know why but the first few seconds gave me chills. Why they don’t games like these anymore. This is crazy. Music like this and cars, street racing games match so perfectly.

apparently Reshade 3.2.1 don't work anymore and new versions don't support your shaders. is there anyway to fix that?
I like that this one doesn't load a little bit longer compared to the older redux version. Can't wait for Last Exodus!

Looks great. You said that turning on the in-game anti-aliasing makes the game darker, that explains why my game is always bright asf.

@@kryzeeplays You know GMA graphics are worse than Intel HD. Any sort of AA and this graphics mod is completely out of the question. Btw I prefer it to be darker.

the bad thing about nfsu2 are random crashes
try setting affinity to a single processor in task manager if you haven't already, that helped me a lot

I fixed my issues with NFSU 2 by making it use only one core, like Alex Z. already said. Actually it stopped all the crashes during my last time completing the career.

Great job dude. I remember getting this game to work on 1080p and it looked so clean, now with your mod and 4k it will be even better. Even though it doesnt look realistic, its so nice to look at. Kudos and great job again my bro.
This is one of the better graphics mods for NFSU2 in my opinion, it does a good job on either improving or adding an art style of its own, and it does a good job with its visual style. It looks nice and polished (even though the car models look out of place due to how the reflections and colors look and the low poly count, but what can you do about that) and i much prefer this over the mods that just overdo a bunch of ugly unneeded post processing effects and cause the game to look like an unpolished mess.

I came here because i played "the new" Need For Speed Most Wanted. Not that the old (BMW M3) Most Wanted was also shit because they fucked up the driving physics, NO! The NEWER Most Wanted feels like a piece of shit! im so freakin angry and really loved NFSU1 & 2 !

this mod is perfect when you play it with the barrier braker mod, the barrier braker mod remove that red barriers on the streets, making the game seem more real

The Replay mode is the best feature which I always kept coming back.
See, this is something I can get behind! So great seeing this game receive some much needed love, BUT!
... the over saturation of colors in the original, giving it that neon look throughout, was one of the things that really amazed me when I was younger. Sad to see that go in this remaster :/

The fuck... I was expecting there to be less than 40,000 views for a Underground 2 game. i'm glad that there are more than 200,000+ people who still remember this game and (probably) enjoyed the shit out of this game. they should remake this game like what Capcom did for Resident evil 2.
I'm not sure why, but the textures and AA from redux didn't work..
Where did you download your NFS U2? Cause as I start the game, always shows a message saying that "Please use v1.2 NTSC speed2.exe".

nah, cops woulda ruined my free roaming on the highway, I used to just space out and drive for hours on the highway without stopping and no crashing then come back to reality and be like "well, guess it's time to crash into something."

You should check out the Carbon 4K textures.
Im super late but, I have a issue when I try to run texmod it just aint starting even after waiting a few minutes.
For me it takes around 2-3 min to start with textmod. Either your game is just taking a long time to start or there's some other issue.
Having the same problem, did you manage to fix it?
@@666vlone I have not played it in a long time but eventually it did work. I think I just was not waiting long enough and there were also some files that did not suit.

It's something about your region,NTSC means American region code if I'm not mistaken or maybe Europe. I never got this type of error before but I don't think you can fix this,it's something that developers do to prevent piracy but fail miserably,it just ruins everything

This game still gets me excited. I also put mods into my game lol and its quite difficult to find one that wont crash the game. Its almost the same with MW'05. Definitely would love to have a remaster of U2 and MW'05

hey ! i know how to help you . you just need to run the game then open task manager and press processes then search for speed 2 and end proccess then close everything and run the game as administrator

Back in the day when 120mph felt like 120mph...not 30. When nitro worked as the magic sauce its supposed to. When the input control felt crisp and instant. When shaky cam was for really high speed and not for cinematic efect...

Thats normal, just wait 2 - 3 mins and the game launches then

When I launch the game it doesn’t appear it’s invisible.
You have to wait a littel bit until the textures are fully loaded.
