so i didn’t even realize my mic wasn’t being fully picked up for the game portion of this video so apologies for that, if there’s anything y’all r curious about or anything i miss explained/missed feel free to leave a comment and i’ll try my best to respond :)
Something I feel worth mentioning is that this game is VERY CPU heavy. If you're someone like with with an older or weaker CPU and newer GPU (2666mhz RAM / i9 9900k / 3080ti), putting the graphics settings to all low will actually LOWER your FPS! I get higher FPS running a mix of high/epic graphics settings than I do with everything on low. This is because on all low, the GPU is cranking out significantly more frames than your CPU can process and creates a bottleneck. If you balance this out by creating more work for the GPU, then it lessens that bottleneck and actually gives you a slight boost in performance. If you're in a similar situation to me, try keeping any resolution/texture/effect settings on high/max, but lower the Shadows, View Distance, and Foliage settings slightly, as these are the more CPU heavy effects (shadows especially)
@@lycommit ye! Just mentioning this as a little fyi for anyone coming here without a good CPU. I know a few friends with the same issue that were flabbergasted when they found out that taking their graphics settings off of low actually gave them more frames lmao
@@Mawntee I got 3900X with 12C & 24T, running at 4.0 - 4.1Ghz, paired with 3070 and 32Gigs of ram, I get around 90-110, can I get more if I mess with the settings?
@@ins4n1tyx Yeah, Keep the foliage/textures down, but try bumping up things like view distance, effects/post processing first. Chill in the practice range and check the GPU / CPU frametimes as you mess with things. Lower value is better, but one being significantly lower than the other means a bottleneck.
Was playing on 2k for the first season, but tried stretched res for fun, never switched back 1920x1440 with native resolution scaling. It's close to full 2k res, but my tracking is way better now.
yo commit, having reflex low latency on and on + boost puts more reliance on your gpu, so your gpu has more of an impact on your fps. for your setup id recommend having it on off since your 7800x3d is a lot more powerful than your 3070
@@excxssive just an FYI: The game ignores all windows mouse accel and only grabs raw mouse input. Whatever accel settings you have in windows will not affect gameplay. There is no mouse acceleration in the Finals, and I've tested this.

just wanted to let you know that the correct discovery.exe is inside of the discovery folder -> binaries folder -> win64 -> discovery.exe i believe you just selected the launcher
the easiest way to verify the correct path of the exe is while the game is open alt tab and then right click the icon on the task bar and go to properties, will always show the direct file path to the exe
I started running around the same sense not too long ago (23) and can say 2 things. The first is that aiming feels incredible with glass skates and the second is my forearm gains are off the charts 😂.
"Crossplay: On" EWWWWWWWWW, BROTHA EWWWWW I'm jus jokin, I do keep it off tho cause I kept getting teammates on heavy with a negative controller sense an somehow playing on the nintendo switch
Bro you play with 800 dpi with 22 in-game sensitivity. Why do you have to flick your mouse like that then? I play on 600 dpi with 20-23 in-game sensitivity (I'm still experimenting with it) and I feel like it's sometimes too fast. The reason I'm not lowering my sensitivity or dpi is because I have a small mousepad. Gotta get me a 2XL one.
800 dpi at 22 sens is 51.9cm/360. 600 dpi at 22 sens is 69.2cm/360. you need a preaty big mouse pad for that low of sens. You got to recheck your settings because the dpi and sens combo you are using is impossible to use on a "small mousepad".

Hey lycommit. Should I turn off FreeSync/Gsync option when playing?(144hz freesync monitor, 3080ti)
Did you disable fullscreen optimization? There's a box for it in properties
Thanks
