In the “wild” there’s no predators big enough to eat them & Pandas are great tree climbers so they don’t have much enemies. Their short comings are how hard it is to breed ironically enough

They might look clumsy but they are very strong and have very good dexterity with their front paws considering they could easily break a bamboo tree and hold it in their paws. Tiger is perhaps the only predator in the area that could deal with an adult panda bear. Baby pandas are weak when they are small but panda mom generally protects them until they could climb. They are very skilled climbers and could sleep on trees. Overall, their only shortcoming is their mating issue.
I feel like natural selection doesn't want the pandas to survive, but humans refuse to let it go extinct solely because it's one of the most adorable things on the planet. Personally, I'm ok with this, and would like to own one.
