  • In this video we check out the Amp & Cab Sims in the G2XFour and build a patch for either plugging directly into a PA or for use with headphones!
We have a video where we use the G2Four as a multi effects unit into an amplifier:

Thank you for the nice overview! If you can pass a suggestion to Zoom: it would be better to remove the "animations" from the screen interface. They just make the interface slower without adding any benefit to the user experience.

I used Zoom for years. We go way back. I remember how excited I was to get the G7 1ut. The one with the tube. That thing sounded amazing and way better than any digitech RP. I use a helix now but would still love to get that flagship pedal they got.

The G5 also had a tube in it and a 'Z' pedal. It still sounds great even though the pedal broke. Plastic inside.

Expression pedal really helps this beginners unit!🙂

Sounds decent, tbh. Much better than the old G2 I had.

I never used the G11 on bass…and it was just a loaner so we had to send it back - plus that was years ago…sorry!!

I had the g6 returned it the next day
Thank goodness I got my refund
    The sounds quality was bad
A pedal that has a restriction on how many effects you can put in a chain is worthless
With technology so advanced the g6 is outdated from the get go

All pedals have a restriction on the amount of effects in a chain. The bad thing I found about new zoom pedals is the plastic cases. Plastic cracks, so stepping on plastic is stupid design.

@@tiomkinnyborg2289 I have owned many multi effects pedal over 35 years the first such case was empero one and the g6
That I owned that stop me from building a full chain because of DSP shortage before that I have never accounted that before in any other pedals if it can’t do it why build it and yes the plastic is crap

@@manfredworner8528 All modelers are just a custom computer in a box. They have a processor which runs at a given speed. It can do x amount of processing at a time. All of them bar none will hit the wall if you ask it to do too much. Chips are getting more powerful so the limits are being pushed. Older algorithms perhaps were not as demanding, so no DSP wall hit. You can over exert any computer. Try doing 3 video encodes at a time on your home machine. It will slow each process down to keep the machine going. With sound, if you slow it down too much the sound breaks. To avoid that the machine will stop you using certain high CPU models. You were lucky in your chains.
