To me there is good and evil, and anything that is not good is evil , you can package things to make them seem good , but in the end its deceiving you and leaving out the one true part that matters. God Bless thanks Lewis

Lewis I also love how you interview people, how you ask them questions I would like to ask. I feel like Preetha didn't answer all your questions in great depth, and you two didn't have a very deep connection. Definitely loved a similar interview with the Headspace guy more! But I still love you Lewis, you are so so good at what you do, and I always come back to your podcasts.

Lewis, she never talked about Sri BHAGAVAN and Sri Amma (her husband Krishna’s parents) living Divine avatars. They are the source of all these teachings that she shared and transformations. She may be forced to hide that for some reason. But oneness movement is the source of all these. ❤

cant they just make the whole world enlightened at a distance. i don´t see why anyone should have to travel all the way to india and pay tuition to go to some special school in order to shift into a ¨happy state¨ unless its just about money and keeping the business going. or maybe they don´t have the power after all. they used to say that after one or two hands on energy transmissions (diksha) the receiver would become enlightened. there are followers - of the now o & o academy - that were around in the 80s that are still waiting for their promised permanent enlightenment. so far all they really facilitate are temporary (addictive) states of consciousness similar to any other drug on the market. and the fact there are massive amounts people that feel they have to keep coming back to their school, academy, university or however they want to call it these days to maintain their waning ¨permanent¨ enlightenment proves my point. after paying thousands upon thousands of euros, dollars, etc. people deserve more than a nibble at a dangling carrot. oops i mean, ¨a happy state¨. but o well i guess i´m supposed be glad that after 20+ years it finally dawned on the organization that nobody received any ¨permanent enlightenment¨ so they have to downplay it with talk of ¨a happy state¨. i suggest they give the world a refund. or simply admit that their just re-branding/repackaging the same old same old in order to make more money. heaven forbid they make the people who can not afford to go to the o & o academy some money so that they can go their in order to make them some more money, and keep them coming back because a deeper ¨happy state/permanent enlightenment¨ is always around the bend. 🤑 🤮💰💰💰💰💰💰

I respect Lewis a lot and am a regular listener and a fan of all his podcasts. But this one is not well-researched. I guess given weight-age because of Tony's name. The speaker is so utterly inauthentic that it is shocking. Both in the insights as well as the facts cited.
I can understand how seductive it must be for the listeners, the beautiful states she is speaking about and the huskiness of her voice with its practiced theatrics and calmness.
You probably may not pay much attention to what I may say...but for what it is worth,
    Here you go:
    1. She is talking trash about insights contradicting herself every two minutes. If you had a background on original philosophers J.Krishnamurthy, from whom OWA copies all its teachings...you would be able to call her bluff out into first five minutes.
For eg: Holding a 'spiritual vision' is the biggest joke any genuine meditator can hear., especially when she has just said that 'becoming' in the inner world is suffering. Any movement from the 'what is' to the 'what should be' is suffering. That is when you move from 'being' to 'becoming.' A blissful inner state' is the joy of 'being' not the conflict of 'becoming'... In this case the 'being' is self., and 'becoming' is MOVEMENT away from the self.. So how can this movement away from the 'self' to 'non-self' be NOW BLISS?
Such horrendous misrepresentation of insights everywhere in the video and then she claims to be enlightened? What non-sense? The interviewer is actually more enlightened that her for sure.. but does not know the stuff of the structure of the mind... so he is being taken for a royal ride.
    2. She is lying through her teeth when she talks about Krishna's enlightenment seven years ago. Damnation and living hell, they both are ON RECORD saying so many times how they both were unparallel-ly enlightened way before that in the eighties and nineties. Not once, not once, thousands of times, hundreds of people paid through their noses to get touched by the enlightened Preetha and Krishna.,so that they could be enlightened themselves. But now they say, he got enlightened only before seven years. Do they think people who are watching silently are utterly stupid?? Krishna was the spiritual-enlightened heir to Sri Kalki Bhagavan, the founder of the nefarious cult in India which brainwashed little children and fleeced money amounting to millions of dollars promising enlightenment.
    3. All the practices that she is talking about are such plagiarized common techniques in India, without an ounce of experience behind those words or an honest awoval of credit.
    4. Researh this brilliant piece by Alan Watts "Trickster Guru"on "how to fake your way as a spiritual guru" before you can get a real insight on these hypocrites, without a shred of conscience.
    www.patheos.com/blogs/monkeymind/2009/05/alan-watts-on-how-to-fake-your-way-as-a-spiritual-teacher.html
You will see this charlatans in every para of this article.
I don't really expect my lone voice to be heard what with the respect of a name like Tony. but it is such a shame that people who really make a difference to this world like Lewis Howes are sold this well packaged Bull-Shit because they have not the back ground into philosophy and spiriuality from India.

    • @nealsmith286
      @nealsmith286 8 років тому +4

Hi Ananya Krishnan. I am not sure what you are referring to. I have watched this podcast from start to end twice until now and there is nowhere any mention of 'becoming is suffering'. There is no talk of moving from the 'self’ to the 'non-self'. Guess your head is so full of J.K.'s concepts and you are so stuck to the idea that OWA 'copies’ J.K.’s philosophy that you are hearing and seeing things that aren't there!! :-)
As for Preethaji contradicting herself, I personally feel her presentation was so focused and clear. In fact, your comment feels disjointed, diffused and 'all over the place' - starting with J.K and ending with Preethaji's past with Bhagavan. You seem nowhere close to the 'present' reality of what she has spoken in this video! Let go of the past and return to the Now. (A quick lesson from J.K, heh? :-)
Let me share what I have gathered from this podcast:
      1) Preethaji speaks of how in moments of suffering, our thinking becomes 'self-centric'. If you are truly someone trying to practise in J.K's teachings, it would befit you better to bring awareness to the immense emotional charge you carry towards her and the OWA organisation as a whole. Why such contempt for someone you haven’t even met? What is it all about? And you will surely see what Preethaji is saying- in such moments, your thinking is increasingly revolving 'you'. This self centric thinking has disconnected and alienated you from reality.
      2) There is no mention of Krishnaji and Preethaji's enlightenment anywhere in this podcast. She clearly mentions that they both have had deep spiritual experiences from as early as 9 and 11 years. The accident at the Big Bear Lake 7 years ago was more a 'crescendo'- so to say. It deepened their understanding of human suffering and expanded their consciousness to a whole new level. They were inspired to start One World Academy and share these insights with all humanity. We all see perfect sense in this! :-)
      3) Your understanding of a 'Spiritual Vision' is totally flawed. To seek happiness, to want to experience a beautiful life, to end suffering is a fundamental quest all humanity shares. If this were to be deemed as 'becoming', and if this must stop, what hope and purpose is left for humanity? It is the passion to be joyful and live free of suffering that even created great thinkers and enlightened beings like the Buddha and J.K in the first place! How is suffering going to end on its own without you doing anything about it? If there were nothing to be done about suffering, what was J.Ks lectures, writings and travels all about? He did kindle the 'spiritual vision' for a new generation of human beings and for a new world! 'Psychological Becoming' or moving away from the 'what is' to the 'what should be' is only when you are not in touch with the truth of what is happening within you. Preethaji is clearly putting you in touch with your inner truth- the truth of your self-centricity.
Coming to the actual experience of who One World Academy is and what they teach, I have attended OWA's programs for three years now. I have also read J.K, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Ramana Maharshi in my so-called 'pursuit of enlightenment' over the past 20 years. I have visited India a few times; I am trained in yoga and meditation. I have tried Ayahuasca with the shamans- all in the hope of finding this elusive 'enlightenment'. I must tell you from my personal experience that I have had the most profound, spiritually transforming enlightenment experience in a silent meditation with Krishnaji and Preethaji at One World Academy! Their teachings are really very down-to-earth and have transformed my life. As Preethaji says in this video, I am now truly able to feel people's sorrow or happiness. I can see how my obsession with enlightenment had distanced me from love and connection for so long.
As human beings, Krishnaji and Preethaji have a truly joyful presence to them. In fact, meeting them has redefined my ideas around spirituality and enlightenment! Their utterly unbecoming nature and the ease with which they relate and connect sometimes comes as a shock to people who are heavily conditioned with ideas of a 'spiritual guru'. They almost instantly feel like friends and family once you connect with them. You have the liberty to hold on to your prejudice and bias, remain on your high horse, mocking at everyone from Tony Robbins to Lewis Howes, that they are being taken for a 'royal ride'. But personal experience often speaks louder than words. And all these people and many more have experienced something beautiful around Krishnaji and Preethaji. You come through as someone so condescending of spiritual seekers in the world- that we easily get carried away by someone's husky voice and sweet smile and fail to see their true colours. And this, I find very amusing! Please know people in today's world are quite discerning and intelligent. As much as we see through fake gurus and their ‘rehearsed theatrics’, we are also able to see through the empty philosophical show-off and emotionally charged comments such as yours! Let go of your bias, get off your high horse and experience One World Academy. You will truly thank yourself!
