Thank you so much for making this video I had a problem with the oil cooler and the switch. Once again thank you very much this video was greatly appreciated.
I wish I'd of seen this video sooner. I went through all the same stuff you did to find the same part. lol Thanks for sharing though, it is hard to find stuff about this car. i have a 2011.
Hi Freddie Garcia Jr. I changed my oil cooler on my '010 Aveo ! This is on my channel (maniacal s10 ) . I left the heat shelled off so can go through. Great video.
Just did my Oil cooler and all associated O-Rings as the internal seals had failed and caused oil to go into the coolant, While replacing the cooler I did the oil pressure switch so everything should be good for awhile.
What is the right way to do Please can you reply in details already did 3 times in 3 year felpro best one but still May be my mechanic not doing right Please reply
@@abdooo7771 I would check the o rings. Pull up a diagram so you can verify where they all are, if they are stretched or broken they will leak. When I replaced the oil cooler it did not come with o rings I had to buy them separately
@@abdooo7771 I don't remember off top of my head, I think it was around 4 or 5. And as far as the lean code, I'd wait til you get the leak fixed first because your oil cooler has coolant circulating through it. Then I'd start checking vacuum lines, injectors, throttle body etc. Putting a bottle of dry gas in the tank wouldn't hurt either. Just a suggestion

You're welcome glad it helped
I heat wrapped my manifold to help keep heat off the oil cooler to make the seals last a little longer
Very smart idea
