Cool to see Jared on here! His videos should be getting many more views. His regular interviews with Karaban are must watches for Uconn fans.

The freshmen are still freshmen. The only one i can say ive been disappointed in is Jaylin Stewart. He has an nba body right now but he looks pretty lost out there most of the time but then makes a flash play that makes you think this kid has immense potential. He just hasnt put it together.
Newton and Spencer need to play off their man to take away the drive and make them shoot and challenge the shot. If guys hit shots tip your cap but if youre getting beat off the dribble it creates far more problems.
Nothing was going for them vs Seton Hall, just a bad night. I’m not worried about it
I dont think Purdue beats Uconn playing its best game. They dont have the backcourt to do it. Castle and Diarra would cause them a lot of trouble defensively. Any time Edey is on the bench Uconn could problably make a run especially with DC or Samson being on the floor the whole game. Thats a lot for any big to deal with.
If UConn can make it to the title game, SDSU might meet them there again in the title game.
Although inexplicably SDSU isn't currently rated in the top 25 and lost a lot of intangibles last year, this year's team has the potential to at least equal last year's with unproven but fast improving talent.
for example, although Gonzaga might not be considered at the same superman talent typical of most of this past decade, it's still pretty darn good and lost at home for the first time in about 8 years (17 games lost ever in the arena) and interestingly SDSU has 2 of those wins now against one loss at Gonzaga. The Aztecs this season is one of those teams no one knows what their ceiling is. It might fall short due to their inexperience or they might achieve surprising success because of their inexperience. I pity the teams Gonzaga is playing after losing to the Aztecs at home, Gonzaga looks to be on a mission the rest of the season and have utterly devastated every team since as though to prove they haven't lost a step.
Clingan should not be 280. He needs to be around 265. He was lighter last season and was running the floor like a deer.
Ball has been way better than I expected
Steph Castle has played 6 games after missing a month. He is in his infancy as a player. We wont see that lottery pick player if at all for at least another month. I think he`ll really start taking off in February.
The Seton Hall game was after a big travel and after DC went down its like they had no idea how to run the offense. Even now they are learning how to play with Samson at the 5 and you can see it coming along.
So if UCONN will not play defense they better be able to outscore everyone.🤔
