Castle went from being bullied and beaten in this game to converting a few iso sets and the great and-1 in transition. Huskies missed about 8-10 points from him early and it showed late. Freshman are going to be freshman but this team is going ro be good come late February.
I like the roster configuration with everyone healthy. Role players are excellent fits for what needs to be done. The success ceiling will be determined by DC's injuries, staying out of foul trouble and hitting a higher percentage on threes.
Steph Castle, will not be a lottery pick if he leaves after this year, he won’t be a first round pick at all. The projections on him currently are way off. No perimeter players who can’t shoot at all from the perimeter can play in the NBA. He is an amazing athlete and will improve plus he is coming off an injury. I understand all of that. However, his jump shot is so poor that he will need to come back to UCONN next year and put a lot,of work in to his perimeter shot to have a chance to be a high level NBA pick.
Being safe is probably 6-8 weeks vs. 3-4. 8 weeks off could decimate the season. You don't want to come back end of February you want to come back end of Jan.
Don't win a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in the BIG EAST, I'd rather have him 100 percent when he is at that than play before he's ready thinking that's why he got reinjured this time around they pushed him in too early. We all know UCONN"S record in NON CON. the past 2 years. better be safe this time.
Agree 100% but I hope he plays at least a month 7-8 games before the big dance. Johnson hurt his foot last year was ready in February but they axed him. Different story tho. Let's see I think nobody truly knows if it's 3 weeks or 2 months.

We already seen Clingan come back from an injury,😔 it'll take some time to get back into shape,

And you’ve seen him take how many outside shots? Slow down.

Great Win! for the Huskies down Clingan. The Big East is always bumps, and brusies but UConn should be fine, just gotta stay healthy.
