🤯 Your Maranta Black Band looks fake! So beautiful 🥰!!! I need a tabletop greenhouse and a table 😂. Such beautiful plants!!🤩😍🤩😍💖
It _does_ look fake, but I can assure you it is real! Lol
It’s his favorite plant 🪴❤️🤣
Thanks for the late night video girl 😎 I always love seeing your updates 🖤
Yay!!!
Hi Darlene!! The table top green house definitely saved my finicky plants!! My Phil. Luxurians is thriving, my Cirinoi doesn't do anything for some time now ☺️ i have grow lights attached in there too. Beautiful plants you ve got there!! I wish i could find a maranta messamgera too , pretty difficult in Europe.
I hope you find one!
if you're looking for a cheap but bigger standing greenhouse Aldi has had some and Rural King also sells them!
You rock! 🪴💚
Good tip! I don’t have room for anything else in my house… hopefully someone else gets on this though!
Paphiopedalum and other tropical slipper orchid attracts pollinators which are mostly flies cause the flowers actually mimmic carrion (dead decaying animals) due to their smell and the hairy shiny look to them as if their dead mammals. So the flies will land on the slipper orchid flower and would walk around and inside of that pouch part of the flower allowing the plant to stick its pollen sacs onto its back, then the fly will fly away to repeat the same technique of going inside another pouch part of the orchid flower this time rubbing that pollen sac off of the fly depositing them onto the other flower in turn pollinating the plant.
Very cool!
Girl, where have you been?! I know you mentioned before that you recently got a new job so I'm sure you have been busy with all of that... but just know that I definitely have been missing your weekly videos! Hope to get an update from you soon :)
Hey! It’s been a busy summer with my job and the dog and tbh I really hate filming and editing when it’s hot out. Now that the heat waves are past I’m starting to prep some concepts and I’m hoping to post a good one soon. I don’t know that I will be able to post on a schedule again any time soon because with working 40 hours a week sitting at a desk it makes it really hard to also have a hobby (I.e. video editing) that is also stationary. It got to the point where I was laying in bed (where I work and edit) like 20 hours a day which is just not healthy or sustainable. I’m pretty active on Instagram though so if you want to follow over there please do!
@@PlantFriendDownTheStreet I totally understand where you are coming from and it’s important to take care of your health & well-being before anything else. But its so great to hear from you regardless!! I recently reactivated my Instagram again and I did give you a follow @peppersgardenco 😊
I got the table top green house because I saw how amazing your plants did in them. It has honestly been a blessing. I acclimated my luxurian in it. It now lives in a self watering lechuza pot on my shelf and is doing just fine. What is your advise on metallicums if you have any? Thank you for the video I know how busy you are these days.
Yay! I’m glad it’s helped. My metallicum has been in my grow tent and I transitioned it to pon and it’s doing well! I’m trying to decided if I want to risk taking it out though.
i for the most part am a very lazy plant owner, but I do try my best most of the time! I'm very proud of my plants and have a good understanding of them, but I definitely learned their habits and likes through my downfalls which has totally saved some of my plants and now they're thriving! Also, how do you edit your videos? I'm interested in making plant videos, but don't know where to start
Yay lazy plant owners! So to answer your question about videos, I use premiere pro. Its not a super user friendly software and creative cloud is pretty expensive and it’s a year long commitment so if you try it and immediately don’t like it you kind of get stuck with it. I think most people start with iMovie but that doesn’t work if you don’t have a Mac. I would honestly suggest that you start with something short form like ingragram reels, TikTok’s and/or UA-cam shorts because you can edit those just on your phone without any additional money invested in a setup. If you like doing that and enjoy the editing process and want to move on to longer form content, then you’ll be ready. There are a number of plant tubers who started out with short form content. I should honestly put more effort into the short form stuff too.
Does anyone have the link to the tabletop greenhouse?
