You are confusing frames per second with stutter speed, the JVC should be set at 1/50 as a standard format - too high and the footage will look very progressive when panning.
Exactly what I thought as well. I'm having to watch this as a tutorial for a class that I'm in and I've worked with these cameras/types of cameras for years now prior. Otherwise it's a pretty solid tutorial but I was thinking about that as well.
It's an SDI output. What's nice is that you can output SDI and HDMI simultaneously on this camera. There are some Sony cameras where you must choose one or the other. The speaker's ongoing dry cough is driving me crazy.
he went into this presentation totally unprepared. He has no script, no cheat-sheet, no guidance, and no idea of what he wants to talk about, what he wants to say, how he wants to say it and so on. I watched 00:01:31 minutes of this video and had to stop. His presentation felt disjointed and was starting to run in circles. Not a good training video. Not even a good presentation or demo reel.
Merci pour le partage
I've owned this camera for nearly seven years and it's still my favorite.
Gracias por compartir, un saludo.
Very helpful for beginners. Thank you!
Thanks Alexander - glad to hear!
Thanks for sharing🌹
I know that the class is time-limited oh, but I was hoping you had been able to touch upon the type of file format and quality versus compression

my record button does not work but from above it works. is it because of a camera setting?
There is some input in the back that look like an SDI input...

That is an SDI output. Use it to send video to monitors or projectors. Go into settings to activate BOTH HDMI and SDI outputs.
