I know this is an old video but my comment is true regardless of time. I am sick and tired seeing cameras designed like this. What I am talking about is for news, and much of the production field, a shoulder mount camera is the way to go. I have a similar Canon with a side screen and an eyeball port in the back. I have also used true shoulder mount cameras and especially when outside, with one eyeball in the eye cup, I can actually see what I am shooting. One eye sees the video, the other eyes can see what is around me.
To me this is nothing more than a frustrating paper weight making my job harder to do. We need to bring back the shoulder mount camera into the lower end of professional for news and industrial uses. I'm not saying this camera won't do a good job, if you can see what you are shooting. The balance is wrong. It is front heavy making it harder to hand hold the camera for steady shots.
There is a good reason why shoulder mount cameras were common in the past. Today, they just don't seem to understand that cameras such as this is a bad design. Thanks for letting me vent.
